I wear my hair in braids have for the past 23 years. I don't have the patience to keep it up otherwise. I do my own. I've gone to have it done several times but I do an amazing job and it cost nothing but time (usually takes me about 11 hours to do it and I keep it in for 6 weeks). I keep promising my dd that I will take them out (she hates them...just tired of them) as soon as I drop about 60lbs...it will be easire to reach up there

This has been my day so far

I feel a bit shaky today but I feel good.

Breakfast 3 oranges/2 bananas and oatmeal

L - nothing yet but I have my bowl of brown rice and 95% lean beef I will heat that up now

D - will be a huge salad with cucumbers, tomat, olive oil and vinegar, ad some sort of protein (not sure what yet)

My snack for this evening (if I need one) will be a cucumber.

I have not drank any fluids yet today (I'm not big on fluids but I know I should)

I just got back from the gym

Full upper body workout (weights) then I jumped on the treadmill and did 1 mile then I went back to weights and did a full lower body. Spent 2 hours in the gym today...really hard workout I raised all the weights on my workout.

Down 3.5lbs today!!!!!!! 259

Feeling good today!

Gail

Hey Gail!!

You are doing awesome!! And your menu sounds really good! I wish I could be more disciplined on WW. I have a huge problem with portion control and over eating the "legal" treats. I haven't gotten a handle on that yet. I told myself that once I make goal (awww that will be the day ) that I would move on to a sort of WW plans for maintenance.

I am wishing you all the luck in the world!! Best wishes!

Thanks all...I'm doing the core program because it is really unlimited eating, I could not do the points system...really gained on that.

Richchick I feel so much better, thanks for asking! I'm glad to see you are home safe...my dd will be in France next summer (she will be all of 14!) I hope to make the trip with her in about four years. I would love to live outside the US, even for a short amount of time.

I wanted to post a good soup recipe I found in the recipe section Cheesy Cauliflower Soup. It turned out really good. I added chives and bacon bits (as a reviewer mentioned) and it was definitely like loaded baked potato soup. I would highly recommend this soup. I know it is spring, but shoot it still feels like winter where I am and that soup hit the spot!
