Thanks for all the nice things you said about the pictures!!

Kaye - DS15 doesn't have to be too tall to look tall in our family!!

Becky - the "lady" standing next to me is DD24 (if you mean the one in blue)!
The one in black is DD21.

Debbie - wonderful pics! I see what you meant about your shoes and the grass!
It looks like you're sinking!

I love them in the house though - very pretty!

So what's everyone up to today?

Good morning. Everyone is taller then me in my family. I look at myself in pictures and see short and squat. Not much I can do about it.

Lets see.... I work at 10:15. Youngest has a sore throat and a cough and will stay home. I think he is fine but can't have my husband leaving work to go get him. Yesterday my youngest had his tux fitting for his May prom. Man is he growing. At least he filling out. He eats like crazy. Maybe he will have one more growth spurt before he stops growing. He will be 17 in a few weeks.

I need to go get dressed and run and it is cold out.

Morning Debbie!

It's 29° here and the cars have frost on them!

But at least it's supposed to be the last morning like this!
Warm weather is coming - they promise!

OK I am going out in the cold. It is around 40 here. No frost. will get warmer over the week. Saturday was the nicest day so far. I want spring!!!

Youngest is now home from school. I couldn't send him and then have him cal my husband to pick him up. Would get husband angry that he would have to leave work. I did that once and it wasn't appreciated.

Morning!

Time was short this morning; no pun intended!

Deb - great pics - love the one in the house where we can see ALL of you! I think you look GREAT!!!

Sunny and 50 today - tomorrow close to 60 - think I am going to put away all my sweaters away this week!

DH and I debating about going to MI to see my parents this weekend - I am not sure I want to go - with ALL that comes with that!

Remember I told you about DD20 riding around the stadium in the truck at the game Friday? There was a picture in the paper's online gallery! She's the (only) blonde on the front right!

Just a quick stop to say hi. Just 4 hours until Connie's plane lands. WOO HOO! I'm wondering if I can even go into the airport....but, probably not. Since 9/11 they have cut out a lot of that. I remember the day that we would take our kids to the airport to watch planes come in and take off.

Cindy beautiful picture of DD. She looks a wee bit like her mommy. LOL

Seems I missed some pictures last week, so willl look for that thread.

Hope you'll have a great week!

Barb you can go in the airport but only to the part where they come through opposite of the security area. Have a great visit with Connie and give her a big hug from all of us!

Cindy, your daughter( actually both) are really model pretty. When does the oldest finish college?

I am off to work. My run was great. Nice, easy and slow.Sunny and cool out but nice running weather!

Will be home around 8pm.

MK, sounds like confirmation was very nice!

Deb, I love the dress and shoes! Great pics, you looked lovely!

We had a "summer" weekend here. It was very very hot (and we have no a/c) We spent Saturday at the beach, the water was COLD though, but the boys didn't seem to mind. DS14 had friends here all weekend. He had a MS dance Friday night and They actually sat in the kitchen and chatted with me Friday and Saturday night until about 11!!!! Wow, teenage boys with non mumbly voices! (who'd a thought it possible) Yesterday was all day water polo, DS10's game was 11:30, DS14's game was 2:30. Without enough time to go home in between. The games were at the edge of the dessert and it was miserably hot! It was a good day though! Both boys played really well.

Was it a hot fudge dessert?
Cherry pie?
Couldn't you just blow on it to cool it off??

MK, you would think that huh? Okay, how bout this, they were in the desert The outdoor temp when we got in the car said 107 .

The kids are really excited for their coach, he was telling us this weekend that his "new records" were not his best, he flew in, didn't taper, wasn't rested and was sick when he swam, so it will be exciting to see what he does in China! He's faster than DS10 and has no leg strength, pretty amazing huh!

There was no thread to say a quick hello on this morning!
Cindy, Loved the pic of DD, I sure wish OUR dance team was good......

Deb, I better go pull the old thread and see what wonderful pics everyone means!

Kelly, Wouldn't desert desserts be a little gritty?

Home from work, what's for dinner?

Kaye, I'm sure the desert desserts weren't too gritty. (actually, the boys had brownies after the last game for a team mates b-day) We're having burgers for dinner here!

Kelly -

Kaye - I wasn't sure who was starting th thread this morning - sorry I didn't get it up before you left!

I think a desert dessert would be pretty sandy anyway!

Dinner - I think fish tonight.

Oh my! Just saw your pics Deb! You look stunning! Truly beautiful (DH looks great too!) I just love the dress, and the shoes are so pretty even if they were painful!
Lovely.

Had 'chicken balls' for dinner and everyone enjoyed it, along with onion rings, tater tots and pot stickers since I had the hot oil going. Mmmmm.

Still sunny here, but getting chilly. All I hope is a good day Saturday, we're supposed to go see rocket hobbyists shoot off their rockets, but they need good weather. Should be cool.

Debbie, you look lovely in that dress! Seriously I think that you are overly critical of yourself-but then again, aren't we all? I really do think that you look great

So...
MK is running around in the cold.
Cindy is getting tanned.
Debbie is encouraging DS who thinks he's sick and wants to stay home from school.
Kelly and her boys are proud of their coach.
Barb is excited to see Connie and will say hi from all the shorties.
Becky is MIA today along with other short friends.
Kaye is enjoying chicken balls

I am happy to report that I finally gave myself a birthday present-I got my TRAGUS pierced

I am slowly getting back on track foodwise and am starting to feel better

Home from work. My husband had dinner on the table. My son will be in school tomorrow. I just went and bought real Sudafed to help with his congestion. Allergy season is hard on him even with Zyrtec.

Thanks for all the nice comments about my pictures.

We had chicken for dinner. We had spinach fettucini too and salad I didn't eat and my husband friend up onions and mushrooms because he knows I love them. I just had ice cream too. I barely ate all day and more then made up for it.

I am going to bed soon. Work was really busy and I was orienting new grad who isn't very confident and slow.

Barb, I want to see pictures of Connie and you too!
