Debbie, nice website! Its nice to talk to a doc that is a parent (especially a mom) about kids cause they just get it! DS14's best friend's parents are both docs. Mom is a med. administrator but was a pediatrician, dad is an orthopedic surgeon. So, good friends to have with athletic boys.

My cousin lives here and her husband is also a pediatrician( emergency room at Children'). I don't see them much. Her kids are little. I wrote into the chat they are having now and she suggested Singulair for my son so I need to call pediatrician tomorrow for a prescription. My cousin and I use the same doctor for our kids( well my 16 year old).

They got pre-approved for the loan before they started looking, it took a little over 2 weeks for that. I wish they'd done that when we were starting out, you'd find the house and then pray that your loan went through before someone took the contract out from under you with cash.

Well... he's talking to Kim right now, she just got out of school and he just came in the door, he hasn't even looked to see that half the house has been cleaned. Man, my feet are KILLING me too, actually, it's my ankles. Guess I shouldn't go so long between cleanings but I HATE to clean, but love the way it looks when it's done.

Morning Thursday

Had a nice dinner at Outback last night. Victoria Filet is always good.

Need to read up what I missed or my indies would sound silly!
Will do that when I have more time this afternoon.

Hope it's another nice day and everyone has a good one! K

We haven't heard from Connie and Barb. Bet they are having a great time. I hope Barb took off from work.

Becky, every time I clean I end up with a lousy back ache for days. My house needs some attention. I wipe a bathroom up with those pop up wipes here and there and my son vacuums every weekend. I make my bed daily but I don't worry so much about the kids. I am always cleaning the kitchen. What I need to do is dust and vacuum furnature for crumbs.

Kaye, you didn't miss too much. The biggest news is Becky's daughter got her house and it moving in very quickly.

Cindy, I think it warmer there then it is here right now. It is 41 here but expected to get in the 70s later.

MK, I need a new book to read.I should check out the one you are reading. I need to go to Barnes and Noble soon. I am reading a drug store book now. Used my CVS extra bucks to buy a book. I can't get into it. The thing is I lie down to read and I fall asleep.

Kelly, you would be amazed at the politics and crp that is going on in our school system. It is so huge here. The list serves I am are buzzing. I am glad I am close to being done with the school system. One more year for us.

My brother in law wants to move my mother in law now that he is seeing the bills for her twice daily nurse visits. I told them they needed to do this a month ago but no one listened. She is actually doing pretty good lately. She is getting out again and sounds happy. She is just losing her memory so quickly. We are going up there Memorial Day weekend.

I have Pilates this morning. I will lift some too. I have a mile track race tonight. I want to do well but I can only run as fast as my bosy will let me. A mile feels long when done as fast as you can run.

MK,I hear they go south for the winter, anxiously awaiting for their return.

Kim is so excited about the house, she said she woke up today and thought, "hey, now I don't have to come home and search the internet, I get to pack for the last time til we buy a bigger home someday and then hopefully that will be it". There are 2 girls at work that I can see will be jelous, but one just drew bankruptsy (MK, I know that's not spelled right but my mind is drawing a TOTAL blank) and the other one is married to a loser that's husband just got fired AGAIN. He had so many jobs last year that they had a hard time remember all the places that he worked and they moved in with her Mom cuz he'd lost his job around November (fired) and so I know she'll be jelous. But there's a girl there that is my support for losing weight (she had a weight problem growing up and is thin now but she really works at it) and she bought a house about a year and a half ago, so i KNOW she'll be excited for Kim.

Well... my ankles KILLED me all night long but John was sooo surprised to see the house cleaned. His mood was so good all night. Even the floor shines. LOL. I love the way it looks when it's clean, I just play around on the computer too much.

BTW, I have a little 5x7 pic of Cinderella that I need to do in count cross-stitch for Alyssa's housewarming gift so if I'm not on the puter as much for a little while, you'll all know why. I'll check in at least once a day but til that's done and they get all moved in, I'll have my hands full.

Toodles for now, girls.

BTW, they will get the keys at closing because it's vacant. It's one that the people flipped and that's why everything is so new. It is so pretty, I'm jelous. LOL. When our house is paid off in 2013 we're going to take the money we would have in house payments and start renovating it.

Morning girls,

Becky, I worked with one of those ugly jealous type people for the longest time. She was my boss for the last 3 or 4 yrs. I was there. Even one of the men in the dept. said, she was just jealous cause we had our life together and she/her family did not. Its sad really.
The new house is so exciting! A house seems to always be a work in progress, but I think a home should reflect its people, and as we are always a work in progress so is our home.

Debbie, we have LOTS of politics in the school system here too. The union is extremely active, and often counterproductive even to their selves as they have a couple of people that are in leadership roles that like to keep drama stirred up. It is very frustrating sometimes! Our superintendent retired about 2 years ago and we have an interim person right now. Her contract ends at the end of the school year and we are in the middle of a search process right now. I hope they find the right person to take the role and maybe some of the drama will settle.

to everyone else! I'm going to help with the 8th grade boys scoliosis (sp?) screening this morning at school. I always feel tiny when surrounded by teenage boys. Why is that, when I don't feel the same way surrounded by adults.

OMG MK, that is sooo funny. Yep, to have the life of a man, that's the next best thing to being a family pet, well... that's sort of what they are, right? LMAO!!!

And thanks for the pass, but I will have to do my homework later as Alyssa is here playing on the swingset and we're waiting for Great Grandma to come. So, later gaters...

Really tired and have to go to bed soon.

Got creative with a pork loin roast today and stuck it in the crock pot this morning with whole cranberry sauce, apple juice, chopped apples, brown sugar and garlic. Cooked all day and came out like pulled pork with the fruit flavor all through.
Surprised how good it came out considering I was experimenting.

Becky, I'm so excited about DDs house! It's so nice to see a young family moving into their first house, happy news.

Kelly and Deb, we've got 'small town' school politics around here, almost a popularity contest more than anything.

Cindy, another busy week?

Ange, busy you too?

Barb and Connie need to report in!

MK, cute comic Did you get to stay home today?

Family has the TV on 'pause' waiting for me, cya Gals, love ya. K

OMG, I did 2 one minute sessions on John's elliptical machine and I think I'm going to die. I can't believe how out of shape that I am. I'm going to go back and do another minute, I can't do more than a minute at a time cuz my legs start shaking and I can't stand up. Sad, but I know it will get better. One minute here and there and someday I will be doing a COMPLETE workout without stopping. GO MAMMAW!!!!

Sorry, Connie flew in Monday and out Wednesday. It really was a fast and furious visit. There was no way to show her everything I wanted to.

She met 3 of my DGS's, but the DD and littlest DGS had fever and cold symptoms. So, we chose not to expose her. The other 3 loved her to death. 3 y/o had her rubbing his back within minutes and told her he loved her. He can be a ring tailed tooter one minute and the most loving thing the next! DGS almost 8 months is NOT much of a snuggler. BUT, her loved snuggling with Connie. She says its cause all men love big boobs. LOL I just think kids know who to trust.

When DDIL and DGS's came back. DGS 3 yelled his usually "hi Grandma" But ran straight to Connie.....Now, what was up with that? LOL

Mary Kay, are you ok from the earthquake? Did you feel it?

Happy Passover Deb! Doing anything special? Do you have the lamb blood on the door?
