My Dad was semi pro at one time and I was his caddy. We walked every course. and I carried his bag the whole way. No golf carts for him. He was in pretty good shape too but had a litttle bit of a tummy back then......I can remember him and his buddies playing for 100.00 bucks a hole and him walking off the course with bug bucks after a day of golf. and his lil caddie gettin a sweet tip!

I almost gave myself a heart attack just now.

I was putting my food in fitday and thought "There is NO way I had THAT many calories". I'd accidentally put in a CUP of mayo by mistake.

Thanks Patty! It really felt great to be back and actually FEEL good!!!

I am pretty sure it's getting the allergy pills out of my system that is helping so much. Well no actually it's GOD who's helping so much! I let Him take control much more today than I have been doing. I have not succombed to the flesh at least as MUCH. I know I'll always fall short.

I had Center cut pork chops and broccoli for dinner

I did about 25 minutes of medium cardio today and about 20 minutes of upper body weight machines, mostly shoulders and biceps. I did a few crunches but mostly listened to my body and tried not to overdo it. I had no idea I had gotten so out of shape. That gym has HUGE mirrors ALL OVAH IT! It made me feel bad but more it made me even MORE determined!

A friend told me about a crock pot EASY recipe today that's lowcarb. She's on South Beach well sort of. Anyway this is what you do in case you are interested.

One packet of onion soup mix
Fresh mushrooms
stew beef cubes

I guess you add a bit of water wouldn't you? Anyway, you just leave it all day and then serve with fresh broccoli or whatever else you want.

I have GOT to try this! Sounds good. I don't care for mushrooms that much though. Any ideas on a substitute for it?

True, I always get the roast beef at the Barrel without the mushrooms. Well not true I just don't EAT the mushrooms. They don't put that many in there.

It was great to have the ENERGY to fix dinner! I also called all the women in my Tuesday night group and left messages. I asked them if they were going to be there and that we needed to discuss whether to continue to meet. One who specifically ASKED to meet on Tuesday night has been incommunicado for 2 weeks. Another that specifically ASKED for Tuesday nights QUIT. Grrrrrrrrrr. Another one is in a deep depression I believe and won't return my calls. yada yada yada it is just irritating that they don't at least keep in touch. Isn't that the LEAST they could do????

"steps off soap box"

I really am in a good mood tonight! It doesn't sound like I guess

Maybe you could go ahead and put a couple mushrooms in for the flavor, but don't eat them? I don't usually like eating them, but like the flavor they add.

I'm not really good at it overall, but do okay with the baby stuff.
