So - now that I'm caught up . . .

Peskie - I thought you were in church . . .

I have no idea what I'm doing today - it's supposed to be warm and I wanted to take a long walk - so far it's just 50 and cloudy - what happened to 70's??

Besides that, I have some cleaning to do, and swim team stuff to get ready for this summer - anyone want to help me with a gazillion swim ribbons??

Hi Mary kay....

This is my story and I am sticking to it:

I am Married to a wonderful man and the dear of my life for 42 years, going on 43 in August. I have two beautiful daughters ( Melanie is a RN, working in Labor and Birth and Dawn who is a stay at home Mom and plays tennis). I have 5 beautiful, outstanding Grandchildren arranging in age from 20 to 9 years old. Four Girls and One Grandson.
I have gotten into playing golf this last year and love it for fun and exercise. When I was in my 30's I owned a grocery store and now am retired and loving it...We retired to the lake in 2000. My hubby works at the golf course part time... I guess this is about it, just love life and enjoying every moment of it...

I just got out and walked my 20 min. That's not much but it is better then nothing..

I think I will just rest today and not try to do too much until my stomach gets straightened out. The funny thing about it, is that I can eat junk and it never bothers me and then when I eat healthy I get sick. Weird thing alright.

Accountability:

Breakfast: inside of sausage egg cheese mcmuffin
Lunch: 9 buffalo wings, unbreaded of course

Sunday school went very well despite my teaching

I used DH's outline and it was no problem. It sure helps that I don't get nervous anymore no matter what. That is very weird considering how I once was! I stayed down in the worship service again since the kids are still practicing the stuff for the Franklin Graham festival. They did one of the songs in the service and it was SO cute!!! Bobby really wants to go so I guess I'll be there almost all day next Saturday too. That's kid's and youth day. Angel wants to go but wants to go with her friends not ME. She's nine going on 16

Bobby is going to bring his little friend though and he does NOT know Jesus so I hope he can come! I'll have my hands full but that's okay!

What's everybody doing today? I'm thinking about what to do next.

I WANT to go to the gym and swim

BUT I have a lot of other stuff that needs to be done. That will probably have to wait until tomorrow after work.

Well me either yet! I did go to Wally World and get a few things for my LC stash and DH some orange juice, then by Zaxby's to get our lunch. Since I have been home I've been sitting here though reading posts and yapping. It's what I do best

I'm thinking of mowing the yard. I was taught not to do that on Sunday but I wanna know when you're sposed to do it when you're busy every night and work all day

I'm not into all that legalism anyway. Heck I'll probably go mow. I always feel a bit guilty and sometimes wait for someone else to do it first.

That way THEY start the disturbing of the neighbors. I'm so silly

Really though, most of the time I have peace in my life and I am trying to deal with things a lot better then I use to. I think I have come a long way the last couple of years, or maybe I have just mellowed.

Baby, I was taught the same way, but you know what, God revealed to me that whatever you enjoy on Sunday is OK, and there are many people that have to work on Sunday, so there is no choice there. Henry use to work many hrs. and Sunday was the only time that we could stuff, so if you enjoy mowing, I say go for it.

wasn't easy by the end, lol. but I did make it. good thing because there were 3 singers besides the worship leader. one of them went home (she was sick and looked terrible). if I would have had to go home it would have left only 1 person besides the leader.

I'm glad I was able to get through it. we had a young missionary family from indonesia there.
