now, I saw this when dh was gone and got myself all worked up and upset. he comes in and just says calmly, don't worry about it, it's still early in the dispute. at least we can see what they bought and think of all the air miles we are gonna get. lol, wish I could look at things like that so easily. ack. All I can think of is, we've worked hard building our savings account, have things we want to do without breaking the bank and I don't want to be out nearly 4000$ for something we didn't authorize.
OMG !!! I think I would be going ballistically insane if this happened. Good thing you caught it right away. Probably makes it easier to dispute.

WOE: Who would know?
I am so blah today. I have to rally and go find a wedding gift for the couple that are coming tomorrow. I am already late but not past the "acceptable time". Usually, we just give cash but this was an older couple in late 40s (first marriage for both!) and they own a gorgeous NYC apt and have a great sense of style. WHAT THE HECK do I get them?!?! I have no clue but today is the day I have to pick something. I was thinking a nice piece of crystal?

ANy thoughts?

I think because your avi doesn't stand out the way the pig does and RG posted right after you, so she thought you made up a crazy reason for us driving her nuts.

Crystal picture frame.....one of my favorite wedding gifts and still would be if my wedding were now. Nice piece of crystal is great, but add it with a way to frame a memory of the day...

But not for long.

All my great plans for today went flying out the window last night when I got a call for work today.

Oh, well. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Then this morning had an email from my brothers secretary/assistant with documents attached that I need to send back ASAP and have them there by Tuesday. So off to the UPS store for notary and overnight shipping.

Quick trip to grocery store, had lunch and now need to get started getting ready for work.

Have a great day.

I'm trying to remember if I was the one that dropped the towels in the toliet.

It must've been me since Tammy-Ro doesn't even remember it and I did after she mentioned it I remember us calling to get fresh towels, but didn't remember who caused it.

In your e-mail.

Kinda pricey in my opinion, but not sure what you're looking to spend.

I personally liked my idea

Never mind....I see....you spend more than peskie does. Wine of the month club is perfect.

Yes, a really nice winery about an hour from here. Actually there are TONS in Virginia.

We can do the wine tasting and tour and then have a nice dinner on the deck at the restaurant adjoining the winery. It's in the mountains, truly beautiful and I think you'd enjoy it.

Château Morrisette Winery Here you go....check it out!

The Black Dog and Sweet Mountain Laurel are my two personal favorites there.

Kinda funny since one is a sweet white and the other dry red. Total opposite ends of the spectrum.

If you think your DH would have a hard time with the tour thing, we can go straight to dinner though and they'll at least make good recommendations for you for wine and he can drink tea or soda. We don't always do the tour and wine tasting. Sometimes we go just for dinner. We took mom a few times and never did the tour with her because of her tiredness/ability to walk so much. She loved going there. (she said she'd always pretend we were rich, so she wouldn't feel guilty because we treated her to dinner there)
