remember my worship flag that Dh got me for my birthday a couple years ago? Well I was surfing photobucket and someone has a pic of it. Except mine is HUGE!



hand painted silk on a 12ft extension flagpole.....it's a little smaller than the hood of an average sized car.....

Woke up to a winter wonderland... It's snowing like crazy. Supposed to snow all through the weekend.

I slept in. JUST got up. woke up to a message from my daddy wanting to know if I want breakfast. ack, I told him yes, but it's gonna have to be a late breakfast. I need to wake up for awhile first.

ok, I'm gonna have ONE more cup of coffee and play before I go get ready for breakfast.

I called the credit card place and they temporarily took it off our bill while disputing it. I look yesterday. it's been recharged. ack. I called them and they sent out a letter yesterday with a copy of the receipt from the company. dh can't wait to see what somebody bought for nearly 4,000$ at a packing and shipping company.

we better not get stuck paying for their thousands of dollars worth of tape or whatever they bought


now, I saw this when dh was gone and got myself all worked up and upset. he comes in and just says calmly, don't worry about it, it's still early in the dispute. at least we can see what they bought and think of all the air miles we are gonna get. lol, wish I could look at things like that so easily. ack. All I can think of is, we've worked hard building our savings account, have things we want to do without breaking the bank and I don't want to be out nearly 4000$ for something we didn't authorize.

oh Peskie, your post was a gift from God! Just got in from a miserable time trying to find a cheap, safe car for dd19, DH is fit to be tied with worry over the job situation so we're spending money we shouldn't be, we're having company from NY tomorrow that we're excited about (they're visiting her family so it will be a short visit with us before they hit the airport), then, we're having overnight company come around 5pm which WILL be stressful (a family from VT that DH just does not like but ds14 and their son were good friends)...just a lot of "stuff"...

SO, I'm prowling around the kitchen, looking in the cupboards and telling myself: "what difference does it make?! You can't stay on the lc! Just have a few crackers! You're going to go off it tomorrow when C & R get here"...you know, all the stinkin' thinkin'. Instead, I go get a tbs of almond butter and turn this on but in the back of my head, I'm already planning on an almond butter and jelly sandwich.

Then, UREKA! Your post! Just the encouragement I needed to step back and tell myself I CAN do this. I MUST do this!

I know the feeling. Wine is not my friend. It just breaks any willpower over food I can muster. I only have a glass but it sends me into eating big-time.

You will NOT end up getting stuck paying for something you didn't authorize. The receipt needs to show who authorized it and you'll be able to prove it's not an authorized user on your account and get it off quickly. Don't stress too badly.

not so sure about that peskieweskie. maybe somebody got my info or something and used it. I hope you are right and I will definitely have you help me draft the letter once we receive the info from the credit card company. the reason I'm doubing is wouldn't the receipt have the persons name. my credit card company would see if it didn't match my info.

Somebody MAY have, but it may not be legible either and assuming it's yours. I think it's fixable. Trying to help you not worry about the worst until we know whether there is a big problem.

I had a terrible night last night and I didn't get to sleep until 1:30 this morning. I just couldn't go to sleep. My legs were hurting and felt restless. I have never been like that before.

I finally got woke up enough to go for a walk and started walking and it started raining.

stews, I am so glad to see that you are back. After I gave up the coffee again the itching stopped and hasn't returned so guess I will have to leave it a long. Even decaff is bothering me, so guess it may be the acid in the coffee. Thanks for asking.

Henry and I got out and did our walk around 11:00 today, so my exercise has been good. I even walked a lot faster today and beat my record by 6 minutes...
