One of the girls that used to post here used that penguin as her avie. We affectionally referred to her as the resident WIT penguin. She lives in that area.

Apparently we drove her crazy in Pigeon Forge though.

No doubt it was Sharons coke bottles and not my goody wrappers that did it though.

Patty!

I guess I need to get ready for dinner, but it's pouring down rain again.
I hate trying to find a parking place in the rain!

Hey! HEY! I totally beg your PARDON! It was Diet Dr. Pepper!!!

everyone! The seminar was VERY interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Loved spending time with Linda too I am pretty tired but it's a good tired! I really learned a lot. A lot of things sort of made more sense about how certain stresses and traumas lead to problems. You know you HEAR how stress is related to disease but to hear it explained was great, sort of filled in a few blanks. The teacher was fantastic but a very fast talker and got in a lof of info in a relatively short amount of time. I will have to go back and read the notes and go over everything so I can better understand it and remember it. We learned about things like sleep disorders, treatment for various mental illnesses, alzheimers and dimentia contributors and a host of other things. LOTS of information!

I got out earlier than I thought though so DH and I were able to meet for dinner and now just got home.

Accountability for today:

Breakfast, insidei of a sausage eggs and cheese biscuit
Lunch: Big chef salad with ranch dressing
Snacks: a few peanuts and beef jerky
Dinner: Beef briscuit and pulled pork with a bit of cole slaw and green beans (left quite a bit of all of this because I wasn't that hungry

Totally on plan!

Every time I go to a "secular" seminar like this I just wonder even MORE how someone could NOT believe there is a Creator! The more I learn of the miraculous intricate workings of the human brain and nervous system and everything else it's made of just keep me in WONDER of what His hands have made!!!

I am totally PUI!
2 amazing drinks and a random foo foo martini - I just let the bartender make up something!

Bad idea!
Dinner was perfect, however, grouper and asparagus.
Then the alcohol began - not pretty!

Phil had to drive me home! Yikes!

Luckily I'm a happy drunk!

Todays menu~
B: fried ham
L: wings
D: sushi and sashimi, broth, salad w/ginger dressing (I had more left over than the amount I ate )
S: we all went out for dessert at a 50's style ice cream shop. I had a hot fudge brownie.

All in all though, I'm pleased with my day. Normal eating.

And I had a GREAT time tonight. It's been TOO long since we've gotten together with that couple. I didn't realize just how much I missed them until we hung out.
