DH headed to Walmart. He asked if I wanted to go. I told him I'd rather be beat, so he let me stay home.

Today we got our dutch door put in between the kitchen and the home office.

Now we can close off this part of the house when company is here if we want to or if I want to have the hens over, DH and the boys can stay in this part with the top 1/2 of the door open so we can wave at them.

And too bad the countertop didn't get finished yesterday because NOW we've decided on one other "finishing touch" for the kitchen. Beadboard 1/2 way up the wall and then where a chair rail would normally be, put the trim we're using as the trim/backsplash behind the counters.

What's WRONG with us?

Nothing. Just kitchen renovation madness. It's predictable. and you'll recover quick when the cash runs out! Ours ran out before we got the new fridge!

Bonkers was chewing me, so it took awhile to get back here.

Now she's jumping from one cabinet to the other in the kitchen...she finds the remodeling fascinating.
