Do cauliflower rice for you! Or whole grain rice. Or whole wheat pasta.

I am staying here to have coffee with you girls....

Just checked out the due date for a project, and I think I will take today "off" of HM. I might regret it tomorrow, though will enjoy it to pieces today.

It's afternoon here.

Peanut came home long enough to grab a snack then head out the door to one of his many "jobs" (He will be 11 this summer, and gets hired out around my neighbors - who are like family to us)....

Timbers is staying at Homework Club and won't be home for quite a while...

And DH is at work, and won't be home till seven.

Enjoy your new cell phone.

My bench in memory of mom was delivered today. It's super heavy and requires 2 strong people to put it together though, so probably not til the weekend.

Exasperated today.....countertops came in and one of them was DROPPED and broken, so we're STILL without a full kitchen.

It's a beautiful evening. Cold, cold this morning, but nice out there today.

Speaking of the "real thing", I went by the cemetary today and FINALLY they went by and put her dates on the headstone. (she was cremated, BUT dad wasn't, so I wanted her name and date up there anyway)

It hit me while I was at the cemetary that I'm the last survivor that has a parent buried there. Guess what THAT means? Peskie just inherited responsibility of upkeep at the cemetary.

Well, it's not together yet. Imagine the above with a small brass plate above the verse that says

In Loving Memory
Moms name (real name) not that obviously
