Good Morning....

Well the weekend is over. Today will be super busy for me, covering for everyone who is in Pheonix, Whhheww... I'll be a bit busy! I doubt I'll be on much, but if I do get time it will be just to pop in for a second.

No WL this am, seems to be a thing on the weekends! Course I didn't do too much yesterday, 1 laod of laundry, dishes, Cleaned up the clothes closet and bagged up all my jeans that not even Casey can fit into. I have so much more room! Next is the Armuior( sp) to go through.

We're supposed to have softball practice but I have a feeling they will cancel, it will only be in the mid 40's and the coaches wife will freak out, Either way I wont mind... It's not like I can help them this week.. I need to rest my bottom!

Morning ladies!

Yesterday I felt really good and took Hannah to the movies and walked the mall a bit. She needed some spring clothes. We saw 21. Good movie, although it was a bit long. Since we couldn't shop for long, I think I overbought for her, but she was enjoying it. We went to her favorite stores, American eagle and aeropostale. Both were having sales and I had coupons
Got home and felt really tired so I stayed in bed after that. Hannah and I watched Waitress and then she went out with some friends.

Today I feel pretty good, so that is a good sign!

good morning, it's Monday!!!! <grrr>

I finally saw a new number - only 1 lb but I will take it - 186 / 175 / 165. It seems slow going this time but I know it will eventually come off. I feel good and I'm in control of my eating & drinking so it is all good

Weekends sure go fast - Dana and the boys stopped by yesterday. It was Cody's 8th birthday. For some reason I thought he was younger than that

Diana - thanks for the start up

James - wtg Sox BTW, I bought some old LC/Diet books at Goodwill this weekend. Potatoes Not Prozac was one of them, but I haven't started reading it yet. I love reading about other plans even though I am happy with Atkins

Tap - it sounds like you are doing so much better! Thank you for the Bloop badges

Pammy - hope you enjoyed the company!

good morning Marie!

DWTS is on tonight go Jason & Edyta

to all who pop in today ... have a great Monday!

Good morning Diana, Jamie, Tap, Pam, Bonnie, Marie, Lori, and all the rest who will trickle in.

Well, I shouldn't have gone golfing this weekend. My back was acting up, and I would have been better off taking it easy. Live and learn. Never again will I golf with a backache. It's not worth it. My friend does have a driver that I absolutely love, though. Now I want one too.

Pam, I'll bet you had a good time with your company. Tell us about it.

Well, that MRI is scheduled for tomorrow, and I'm starting to chicken out. I think I am going to call them today and tell them we need to do an open MRI.

Diana, I'm not chickening out on the whole idea, just that I want to ask them to do an open MRI. I know the doctors prefer the closed one, but I don't think I can lie still on that table in the closed one. My back is really giving me fits. I'm even using my cane today. I just don't think I can do it with my back being the way it is.

Good morning....

I'm down another lb......that's 7 in 3 weeks....I think I've got a handle on this now....and as Terry said I'm sure there will be carby meals but the key is to get back OP at the next meal....for me anyway....I think this is going to have to be for life now if I want to keep avoiding diabetic meds....

I've taken the morning off work since W has a doc appt and then he needs to get some blood work done...these little things have become an ordeal since he isn't moving very well.......the lasix doesn't seem to be working......I called in 2 refills this morning and the pharmacy called back to say that we have used up our maximum on my health plan and now we have to pay cash....a new year starts in June...it's going to be an expensive 6 wks.......

_Catzy_ and Jamie....I use the same recipe that _Catzy_ posted but I have added my notes so I'm going to post it anyway......you just know I have to get my 2 cents in......._Catzy_ I'm so glad you like them....not eggy at all to me and I them with a fried egg topped with 1/2 slice delux cheese and 1 slice of bacon.....*drool...also rolled with 1/2 T flavoured cream cheese...yumm

Cleochatra's Best Ever Revol-Oopsie Rolls

3 large eggs
1 pkg Splenda
dash of salt
pinch of cream of tartar
3 ounces cream cheese (not Tbsp!) Do not soften!

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Separate the eggs into two separate very clean mixing bowls. Add the Splenda, salt and cream cheese to the yolks. Whip the whites until they are thick and add the cream of tartar and continue beating until very stiff peeks form. (you should be able to flip the bowl upside down). Leave the whites for a minute and beat the yolk/cream cheese mixture until smooth. Using a spatula, carefully fold the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture, being careful not to break down the whites.

Spoon 6 heaps of the mixture onto a cookie sheet that has been covered with parchment paper or a silpat and flatten them slightly. Bake about 30 minutes (You want them slightly softer, not crumbly). Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, and then remove to a rack and allow them to cool. Store them in an unzipped ziplock bag to keep them from drying out. They will stick to each other so place a bit of wax or parchment paper between.

Makes 6@ about 85 calories a piece, >1 carb per

Per Batch: 525 Calories; 45g Fat; 25g Protein; 4g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; 4g Net Carbs

Per Roll: 87 Calories; 7g Fat; 4g Protein; .66g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; .66g Net Carbs

I don’t like partial pkg of cream cheese in the fridge so I use a whole 8 oz pkg with 8 eggs, 1 heaping ¼ tsp of cream of tartar and 5 packets of Splenda to make 24…I store 6 in a baggie in the freezer, 6 in a baggie in the fridge and the other 12 I leave on the counter…this batch lasts me 1 week.

Must fly...organizing our papers before we leave...

and have a great day

Good Morning!

I'm really more of a morning person as far as classes/work go. I'd rather go in early and get off early so I have the rest of the day to myself. I was bummed when the new round of classes started and I found out that I'd be in class from 11-5. I would have much preferred the 9-3 schedule but that filled up before I could register. I'm finding, though, that aside from the rush hour drive home, I'm enjoying the later day.

Diana - we turned on the hot weather for your people who are over here (assuming this is really my Phoenix they're at and not some other Phoenix!). It was 94 yesterday and will be 98 today. {gasp} I had to break down and turn on the a/c yesterday!

tap - glad to hear that you're feeling good!

Bonnie - I agree, the weekends go FAR too fast!

Terry - good luck with that MRI. I had one done on my knee and I had no problems, mainly because they put me in feet first and I wasn't all the way in. Then I had to get one on my lower back. They put me in, I remember thinking it was kind of ... close... in there, kind of warm and then all of a sudden someone was yelling, "Get me out of here!" I didn't even realize I was the one yelling! First time I've ever had a panic attack. (And I never went through with that study and never went back .. I'd rather deal with the back pain!)

Lise - way to go on another pound down!

Hello to everyone else! I need to see where we're at in class and if I need to do any last minute reading before I go in today because I was a huge slacker this weekend as far as schoolwork!

Chrystalis- Yep.... Arizona... I saw yesterday was steamy hot... while we were in the 40's here with frost warnings last night. Well below average! Looks like I am covering the plants again tonight!

Terry- Hope they can do an open one. I do understand, when I had one done I didn't like it and I am not even Closterphobic (I know I spelled that wrong) and I did not like it one bit!!

BF- Yogurt
Lunch- LC Pizza bowl (they were out of fresh ground beef for my burger) Hello sodium, and high calories!
Dinner- Grilled Chicken and steamed cauliflower....
unless I change my dinner again! LOL

Hey Jo glad to see you..

Well well, I was down to 135 before we went out on the boat for 2 nights and 3 days... all I ate was 1 hamburg bun and 2 hot dog buns and a few fritos and crackers.... ahhhh well

Diana.. congrats on your losses... come catch me

I am hoping for the 130's in the morning...

Being very good.

Raining cats and dogs here... which is a good thing as soo many of our cisterns are dry... and the hillsides are dried out.. just dodging falling rocks all the way home from the cliffs... sure one day they will kill me..

Bonnie.. your grand baby's pics are adorable... congrats

Jamiekins... how did Kylie's tests turn out??? I pray safe...

Here come the rain flies... gotta go close up all windows...

Missing my bean town family... they are such fun... but everyone got sick on the boat mom included... sailing was such a strain....just had to conscentrate on getting there..

now there is thunder and lightening..

see you all in the morning.. we will all see the whooshie Fairy tonight..
