One of my all-time favorite meals is stuffed cabbage. Cabbage, saurkraut, hamburger, tomato, and a little rice.

Yum! My Mom makes stuffed cabbage...sometimes with lemon and mint or the other way with a tomato base. Do you like stuffed grapeleaves?

It's so strange when the pups aren't around. I hate when we go on a trip and we wake up on Sunday morning (before the kennel pick up) to go get him...the house is SO quiet.

Keep up the great work! You are doing fabby and are really in a groove now. I ate too much sausage tonight so am up 2 this morning....chugalug time....

I am meeting my friend early this morning to drive down to Plymouth to take pics near the Mayflower and such....Andy has practice at 8 so Dave is taking him. Guitar had to be moved to later today. It is beautiful out

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning Sayonara Carbonara Super Dupers

Liseto you and Wayne, Dermatomyositis is tough but at least they have worked out what he has and can now start treating him.... that he will have his strength back soon, and be out of the wheelchair.

Diana... we have earthquakes often and they are amazing. We are over due for a big one any time... My birds and dogs make noise before... sometimes you can see snakes... before dead in the road... my macaws make noise during slight earthquakes... we also hear them coming... a low rumble... not sure if you hear this on the ground or it is an "over the water thing".

Diana... congrats on 153 that is awesome.. you will be in the 140's in no time... you are on a roll...

Me and my tight clothes... well when I was at 104 to 120 I did ok with loose... it was hard to find tight... I remember trying on jeans... ya know those ones with the real low waist that the teenagers wear...
Forget those... any how it is interesting to think about... I loved my LL Bean shorts 4's and xs shirts loose... and my 2's llbean shorts loose and hanging off my hips... no waist overflow no big fat hips and can holding them up...

Conclusion... at thin... I am ok with loose.. never really faced this truth before... guess I just was not thin long enough.. This time I intend to get in to the 120's and get to the low end in there and never cross 129 again. I think that will be ok...

Jamie... it is frightening how fast the fat can load on and how hard it is to get it off... If I want to be small, I know I have to eat small and on track or it all loads back...

I am a carbohydrate addict, I am an over eater addict... I love to eat and
suppose God made me that way as a survival method... we were suppose to eat as much food as we could when we "found" it. So as to sustain us thru the times of no food... think winter in a cave....

Well well finding food is so easy now... and I have been finding tooooo much

We are all in this boat together... and I am so thankful for all of you dear friends as we sail along.

Good morning Pammy

I know about the weight gain......it didn't take too long to end up in big mess. First I fell off the wagon LC wise.....some weight gain....period of depression. I was maintaining in the low 150's. The first anti-depressant certainly helped my depression but I gained 18 pounds in less than 2 months time I finally realized what was the problem and switched to another but even though that one had less effect on the appetite the meds and my bad habits kept packing on the pounds. I am embarrassed to go to Andy's school things and baseball because I am 30 pounds higher than I was at this time last year and have gained every pound back. So here I am at my highest weight EVER other than giving birth and I am trying to tell myself everyday that the past is the past and I have to just move on. It is hard. I have weaned myself off my meds, started at a gym, and finally have gotten into the mental mindset that I need to be in.

I guess where I was going with this is that I too am a carb addict and I cannot go down that slippery path AT ALL. I am very lucky in that I can eat a lot on LC including fats and still lose/maintain weight so I need to go back and stay on what works for me.

Good morning and getting ready to blast off too.....heading to W's dad this morning...W has decided he feels well enough to come along.......Kate and I were going to take our time and stop at some country stores and W says that's okay....man is he mellowing.......now he has fallen back asleep on the couch so I'm waiting for him to wake up and then we are going to blast into a country road trip...

Jamie....W wants to know if you will come and be his physical therapist...his prospects for golfing this summer are pretty gloomy.... to you...I know how it feels to gain it all back and luckily I'm like you and I can eat a lot of carbs and still be able to lose weight and stay in fat burning mode.... sistah....we will do this again....I'm so happy that you have been able to wean yourself from the meds and with regular excercise, weight loss, ditching the carbs and of course hanging with us you will be able to keep the positive vibe going and get the job done.......and I don't think I mentioned but for Ky's clean check up....

Pammy....I think getting into the 120's is a great goal for you and I have every confidence that your little venture back into the 140's will be all it takes to motivate you to get back down there....I still cook my steaks and lamb chops under the broiler just like you taught me........your success has touched many of us....you are such a strong determined woman...

Jenn....W said to make sure to tell you hello and welcome back to the internet....he has such a huge soft spot for you ever since all the chats you 2 had back when I was sick.......

Terry...please keep us posted about your MRI....I don't think you mentioned the new date yet but I sure hope they find out what's up with your ears/brain....

Diana....you are doing so great....153 is terrific...you are so close to the 140's and you will be there in no time....slow and steady wins this race....I bet Mia is having a blast with the other dogs...and I'm so glad it was just a close call with Hampsy and that everything turned out fine....

_Catzy_....I'm sorry your scale is being such a %%%&% but you know it will go down....how did upping your water affect you?...How is D after his fall the other week?...any more baby pics?

Lori...my mom used to make cabbage rolls too...stuffed with rice and tomatoe sauce and probably other stuff and then covered with tomatoe sauce before baking....yummm....so much work but so good....I think I'm going to try to create a LC version without the rice...maybe with ground beef and cauliflower...

Ok....I'm getting a brain cramp....

Have a great LC day....I have a fresh batch of oopsie's and I'm going to stack a couple with a fried egg and cheese and bacon.....*drool...

FINALLY .... 174.2

After toggling between 176 one day, 177 the next all week I am estatic!! Guess who will be drinking their water every day from now on?? thanks Diana

James - Jason Taylor is such a doll!! He did a great job on the Tonight Show - he has such an easy going personality, a great sense of humor and he is sooooo easy on the eyes. I loved when he said his little girl named all her Barbies Edyta and his oldest son wants to marry her Have you heard the rumors about Derek and Shannon?? They would make a cute couple even if she is 12 years older

Jenn - it is so great to have you posting again. Thank you for the sunshine ... it is supposed to be cold here with snow & hail

Lise - have a great time on your little jaunt. D has been a bear all week since the fall - the pain it caused was unreal. Yesterday was his best day since last weekend and I'm hoping he will feel well enough to go to Rainier with me today. I told him we could leave Speckles home this time No new baby pictures yet. We need to get up there to see them soon.

Pammy - enjoy your day with Mom. I worry about you not eating enough when you talk about eating small.

Marie - it must get to be long days for you. I know I couldn't work two jobs

off to make coffee ... I hadn't made any yet because I didn't know if I was going to stay up or go back to sleep for a bit

POGO peeps ... 5000 matches in Phlinx is not fun

have a super duper Saturday ... all around

I love them. A local Greek diner makes them and I used to get them from an Armenian neighbor. They were called dolmas, I think.
