I appreciate the thoughts on what might be wrong, but I know none of those are it. I never overeat Protein (I don't believe Atkins is an all you can eat protein diet), my percentages are fine and my calories are fine. I won't eat wraps, not even "low carb" ones. You know I'm a stickler for weighing/measuring my food You may be right about the water though - I haven't been drinking it at work, just in the evenings after I get home. Maybe I should try that ... the first time around I drank a gallon a day and I'm not near that this time. I think I will get my jug out and try that
Mia? Helping.... No.. She does like to bump the cage, but that wont open it. He tends to sneak out between the metal railings of the cage when we had his wheel stuck to it, we stopped that right away. he has opened the top, I saw it myself! And this last escape he popped the top off that you can place another water bottle in, no way mia could reach it, it doesn't stick out. They say Hampsters are very smart, yeah hampsey is with escaping but not smart about the HUGE Beast that resides with us that could eat him for a snack.

Hopefully it's the water... I was throwing out any thoughts on why your not moving. I forgot you do measure your foods. I dunno Bonnie, I can't figure why bodies do this..complicated machines. I hope it starts moving for you, I understand how it can affect your modivation.

Good morning Sayonara Carbonara

Feeling thin.... ahhhhh oh how wonderful

Amazing what losing 10 pounds can do... my mushroom is
down in one pair of pants... but now they feel sloppy and I want to put
on a tighter pair

Why can't I just enjoy loose... and have to wear snug to be comfortable

to all..

Happy Friday

Well at 5:35 we had a tremor... it lasted like a minute. Scared the life out of me. I thought There was a Semi driving down the road then it kept getting closer as if it were coming straight at our house, then the house started shaking!! I freaked out tried to get to the bedroom where Ken was sleeping and couldn't walk right, like my balance was off. I yelled for Ken who said, "I feel it too" and then it stopped. I am still shaking! I haven't felt one of those since I was a little kid about Caseys age. The house was shaking so bad!

Apparently the fault line in Indiana, registered a 5.4 on the rictor scale. People could feel this from MO to western Ohio, and as far south as Nashville TN.

Anyway..... dropped to 153.5 today! Wooohoooo!!!! I ate a huge dinner last night of 3 eggs, 2 sausage with LC Ketchup(1 carb Heinz), cheese and then some yogurt I was so full, I thought for sure I wouldn't loose but what I am learning this time around is I CAN EAT!!! I don't have to go to bed feeling hungry. I loose more weight with the more I eat, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? I think I finally really get the whole starvation, metabolism slowing down if I don't eat enough thing. Now it make take me months and months to remember this, I keep wanting to eat smaller meals at dinner time and If I do, I lose less.

good morning

I went to bed early (7:30) so of course I'm up with the chickens. Since I'm up, I'm going to go in at 7 so I can get off at 4. My boss is gone today (and all of next week) but she doesn't care if I come in at 7 when she is here so I know it is ok to go in early. I get alot done because I don't get interrupted.

I drank water all day yesterday. (Thank you, Diana)

Pammy - on feeling thin. I know that mushroom feeling very well I'm not a tight clothes person though - I prefer mine on the loose side

Diana - I have been through a few tremors in my lifetime - very very scary. The last one we had was when we were still in the other building, in fact I was still in my old office down the hall. The whole building (it is two story) swayed. Now that I'm in the basement at the new building I don't even know if we would feel an earthquake ... but scary thought here ... would we be crushed if the building fell???

James - whooshie!! I'm jealous though Did you hear the Rockies/Padres game went 22 innings last night??

Marie - buy a bunch of books on other plans at a second hand store or borrow them from your library. I have been reading about the different plans - South Beach, Protein Power, Scarsdale and others. I don't plan to change from Atkins but it is very motivating just to read the books. At least it is for me. If you really are wanting to do something else it would also help you find one that fits you.

Anyone have any big plans for the weekend?

have a super Friday ... all around

Such beautiful little girls we have here at SC

to all you ladies who are getting their eating under control. I need to start watching what I eat, as my appetite is back and I'm not very active these days. I plan on taking a walk today and hopefully every day before I go back to work so it becomes a habit and I'll want to do it then too. They are hooking me up to the network at work next week so I'll start working a bit.

I feel GREAT. I'm not really even getting tired during the day, but I say I am so I don't over do things. I sat outside and read a book yesterday for a while and now my arms are really sunburnt. Hannah asked me about what sunscreen does, and after I got burnt, I told her it helps against this . I took her to the doctor due to a skin condition she has, the doctor told her it is common 20% of people have it, and she did too. Gave us some OTC creams and also a prescription if we need it.

to all that need them.

I had a NSV yesterday too. I put on a pair of pants I bought when we moved that were casual, kind of a step up from sweats, but last year they didn't fit and even with the swelling I have in my belly they fit and I was able to wear them

Popping back in!

It didn't dawn on me until they were talking about it on the radio- how animals sense these things and it causes them to "act up" Well at 5:30 Mia was begging and crying, which she never does. She wanted outside so bad and nothing calmed her down until I let her out. She sat in the middle of the yard and stared at the house. I went back to the PC room and within minutes it all started. Downtown Indy has reported some damage to some of the buildings, but not major. Casey said she was happy she was asleep during the earthquake.

Jenn- glad you got a new modem! Congrats on your 10lb loss!

Jamie- Congrats on your whoosie! Awesome feeling!

Marie- hit the library up on the different diets. I love to read about others and it helps, you take parts from each book and it's just a great tool.

Tap- what an awesome feeling!!

Bonnie- good job getting your water in! Yay!

Pam- Keep up the great job!

Woo hoo to all of us losers!

Bonnie, I'm with you - love loose clothes. I buy them loose when they're new. Can't stand snug.

Jenn, it's so good to "see" you from home again!

Jamie, a pedi sounds like a good reward for losing 10.

I've been off track the past couple of days and need to get a grip. Time to knuckle down again.

Extra to Deb.

Hey Terry...........thanks for the warm welcome back How's the new job going? The last I heard you were in Nirvana!

Getting ready to go over to my sister's ..........it's her birthday today and I want to drop a gift off along with a hug.

I baby girl

I Miss Emma

Popping in quickly with a report....I've been out of the office so much with W appts that I just have to give it my all....one more appt this afternoon and then nothing for a couple of weeks....

I miss you all so much but life has been crazy with my diabetic scare and W's health issues....

I'm still OP and doing really well...I dropped another lb today for 8 in a bit over 3 weeks........I think I've found a WOE and WOL that I can actually see myself sticking with forever.......

W has been diagnosed with Dermatomyositis...an autoimmune disorder .....we are feeling a sense of relief with knowing but it is a very serious thing and with medication we will soon get it under control and get him out of the wheelchair he's been in for the last couple of weeks......

Anyway that is what has been happening.....thank you all for your thoughts and prayers...

I just scrolled down and see that there are a bunch of posts since I started this one....I'm going to post then read then I have to fly....I'm so sorry and promise to find more time and be less self involved very soon...

.....those weren't brand new posts...I must have just hit post reply after I saw the darling little Miss Emma....

and congrats to all of us losers.......

Terry.....I'm not fond of Carly or David A....she is too screechy and he is too..well....I can't really explain it....I also think and hope that David Cook wins it....he really has developed and I love his voice....I really like Brooke's voice too but I don't think she is strong enough to go all the way....and then there is Jason.....what can I say....I may actually pay money to download his version of Over the Rainbow.....

ok
Bye
