Peeking in... I am so tired!!! but at least Casey is happy her hampsey is back, as she put it this am, "Mom, it's like your book you have 90 minutes in heaven, hampsey had his 90 minutes and God told him it wasn't his time, " Too precious.

Other then that I need to clean house a bit tonight... it will be an early night!

Woo hoo for Hampsy the resilient hamster! They do have a very short lifespan, though. It just wasn't his time. I hope he's o.k.

Congrats Pam! It really does feel good to be back on the losing track, doesn't it? I'm back on track too, but not weighing for a few more days (following my brush with Chinese food )

I know most of you aren't watching AI this season, but I've got to tell you, it's a good one. There are seven left, and it's getting to the point where they are all good in their own way and you hate to see any of them go. It's not like previous seasons when I scratched my head wondering why someone was still there. This year, they all deserve to be there. Tonight's elimination is going to be hard to see, but I have it narrowed down to two people.

Have a great day, everyone! Today is checkbook balancing day. I must be a sicko or something because I look forward to the challenge. How wonderful it is to have a job I can look forward to.

Diana - that is great news about Hampsy. I had a hampster when I was young that lived under my refridgerator for 2 weeks. We didn't find her until the day I finally convinced my parents to replace her, with a him, so when we found her, we didnt' want to put them together...didn't need 100 hampsters!

I'm feeling good. I think I'm going to pick up the convertible since it will be 72 today and getting up to 76 by Friday too bad I can't spend too much time driving around and stuff since I get tired so easily.

For some reason I can't connect to my work e-mail this morning so I'm feeling very un-connected, even though all I'm doing is reading and not answering any of them. I don't want to start working from home yet, otherwise they will be expecting too much from me too soon.

Morning all!

Diana - that's such good news about Hampsey!

Pam - awesome job on heading downward again!

tap - have fun during your drive!

Lise - great job with managing your sugars!

Terry - glad to hear that you're OK'd for the open MRI!

Hello to everyone else!

I have a test this morning that I feel totally unprepared for. The teacher just flew through all the material (abdomen, upper GI system and radiographic positioning for said areas) and then was very vague about what she expected us to know for the test. "Just know it all!" I've studied until my eyeballs are ready to fall out and I still don't feel confident that I know anything! The only saving grace is that this will be a multiple choice test and not fill in the blank, which is more like draw a blank in my case!

I had kind of a neat thing happen to me this weekend. It was the 6th year since my mom died. I think of her all the time still. This weekend, one of my MySpace friends added a new song to her profile - Afternoon Delight. It's been years since I've heard that song and it's one of those that make me remember my mom since she liked it so much. The coincidence made me feel like she was letting me know that she's still around.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I can't get over how much she would lose each week, and it just keeps falling off, I have been waiting for it to slow down for her! So glad she won

Hi everyone!

Crazy crazy here....with spring starting and a semester ending of school...and of course Emma (will get some new pics posted soon).

I can't believe I'm planning her 1st birthday party for next weekend already!

I'm finishing up Spring semester in the next couple weeks, and just got done registering and ordering books for Summer semester. I decided to take 3 classes this summer instead of the normal two...we'll see how it goes. Financial Accounting, Women's Studies, and Microeconomics.

Our basement should be completely done today...it's looking really good. We have an appraiser coming out tomorrow morning to re-appraise it so we can refinance our mortgage to a better rate and payment. I'm crossing my fingers that will work out.

Other than that not much else new. Hopefully I can get some new pics up for you guys either tonight or tomorrow.

I hate it when that happens, and it was one of the reasons I left the call center job. We had "training" on a very complicated process. Once you are "trained", they expect you to be able to do it and cop an attitude with you if you don't remember how. The "training" was a joke! They skipped over a bunch of stuff, and I came out of it not understanding one thing about the process. After that, I was really convinced I was in the wrong place.

Good Morning!!

Still up a lb that stinks... Been good, really good... I got a bit hungry last night and had a cup of yogurt around 8PM, which means I might have lost a bit more, but I wasn't going to starve myself not worth it. I decided this time If I have ate on plan and ate what I planned and I am still hungry later, that I will eat. I can't get over the water weight I gained this week, which by the time it's all said and done I will be back to 154 with no real loss this week. I wont be near any scales on Sunday to find out either.

Anyway- Well today I am pretty much alone in the office, the president is there, but other then that me. I am going to try to do it all, but I am not going to push myself until I go nuts! If it gets done, great, if not... oh well!

Good morning

Starting Day 4 Sounds like we are getting in the groove sistahs

Terry....I boycotted AI after last year's disaster but it does sound like this year has a talented group. But between the Sox and DWTS I decided not to jump on board with the Final 12.

Chrys....good luck on the test I'm sure you'll do much better than you think. That is SO frustrating when you get an instructor like that.

Paula.....can't wait to see birthday pics....are you having the party on the 27th itself? Sounds like an extra busy summer for you...it'll be worth it in the end though. It's actually better that you are doing this while Emma is smaller.

Deb...hang in there I know you must feel like your world has been turned upside down. You didn't do anything to deserve the pain you are in right now.....please don't blame yourself. How are your girls doing? I'd love to see pics of them....they are beautiful like their momma is

Diana....you are doing fabby! Don't worry about weighing if you are on plan....just keep doing what you're doing

Heather.... I Baby Girl!!!!

Sending to Jenn

Pammy...you are doing fabby too......just keep doing what you're doing

OK.... waving to everyone....got to fly!

Lori....bad game last night How's your DD doing? Did you book a place for vacation yet?

morning Jamie! I have to weigh... if I do not it is an excuse to jump off plan- (if I don't see the scale go up, then it's not ) That will not work for me! I'll keep chugging along...not throwing in the towel... noway!

Bad debate last night too . My girl is great. She just booked a flight back to Milan for a week in May. I think she's hooked on travel. She's working really hard to save money for the next trip. And we haven't seen much of her. I'd like to catch her at some point to find out her summer schedule so we can book a cottage in Maine.

How is everything up your way?

good morning ... getting frustrated this week Seeing the scale stuck since the 2nd week is not fun nor motivating. I am trying to stay motivated by reading the ML and the plan threads, my books, my FitDay etc etc but it is getting harder. I have passed up a zillion treats at work - even my all time favorite German Chocolate Cake - and it feels like all for naught. That baked potato is calling my name again. I won't go VLC so maybe I need to carb up to get things moving again. Right now I'm not a happy LCer

I'm sorry ... I didn't mean to go on and on about me ...

Deb - I'm so sorry you are hurting.

Diana - how is Hampsy today?

nice to see Tiff & Paula - Emma is turning one already ????

Terry & Pammy

James - on Day 4

Lori - how awesome for you dd to be able to see the world

They are predicting snow in the hills this weekend ... what the??? It is the end of April for goodness sake

Off to get more java and read the news ... have a super Thursday .. all around

Hi Bonnie- I understand your frustrations. My scale went up 3lbs and SLOWWWWLLLy coming off, still up a lb. Keep at it, your body wants to hang onto that weight, probably redistrubuting. Then all of a sudden you'll have a drop. Carb up is a good option as long as it is Low Carb. More veggies, maybe a whole wheat wrap, or add sour cream, more fats. Sometimes just jumping the calories up will drop weight (mayo, butter etc) Check your Fats, Calories, and carbs. Maybe you need more fats, or maybe your protein is too high. Do you drink water? Are you measuring foods or guessing?
These are the things I look at when I stop losing.

hampsy is doing ok. Took all his food and has stored it up top. I have his cage taped up, he is good at excaping... evil little fart. What can I say he's a boy...'nuff said!

I'm glad Hampsey is doing better. Is there a chance Mia is helping him escape?

I appreciate the thoughts on what might be wrong, but I know none of those are it. I never overeat Protein (I don't believe Atkins is an all you can eat protein diet), my percentages are fine and my calories are fine. I won't eat wraps, not even "low carb" ones. You know I'm a stickler for weighing/measuring my food You may be right about the water though - I haven't been drinking it at work, just in the evenings after I get home. Maybe I should try that ... the first time around I drank a gallon a day and I'm not near that this time. I think I will get my jug out and try that
