Good afternoon egg creamers! Well, I had another egg cream last night for dinner and one this morning for breakfast. I actually was not hungry again today until about right now (noon) and I had my drink at 7. So, much better than the last few days when I was still hungry an hour after drinking an egg cream. That's progress! Also, I am 2 pounds down on the scale (I have been drinking egg creams for 3 days). I have been stalled for months so this is very very welcome! I seriously love this drink more than anything. It tastes so good and the possibilities are endless. I have every flavor of Jay Robb protein so I am going to start having tropical egg creams and such. Hope everyone is doing well.

What a relief to have my taxes finished. They will be electronically transferred to the IRS. It's a good thing that I had an Egg Cream this A.M. before going to have the IRS filing done. I left the house at 11:40 A.M. waited 2 hrs. to have someone help me & then it took close to another hour to complete the forms. I drove a gal home from there & then picked up a few groceries at the supermarket & it's now 4:30 ish. I'm having another Egg Cream now. Will probably have a large stuffed cheeseburger for supper.

Hi. I had made an egg cream this morning with a scoop of chocolate whey powder. My daughter drank half of it while waiting for the bus. I am back in ketosis after my rum and cokes, so I'm happy.

So far mine is easy, 2 eggs, 1/4 c heavy cream (found it for 99 cents), a nectasweet tablet, scoop of protein powder, and cold coffee. Tastes pretty good and I didn't want to eat until I got off work at 4.

I am doing good so far.. I had an eggcream for breakfast. 2 hard boiled eggs and a pack of lunchmeat for lunch.. and I dont even know if I want my eggcream yet! I will drink it though because I cant just not eat or anything...
and my period is comming.. my cramps are super killer! BLAH! but maybe that means i'll have a WOOSH soon....

I weigh myself this am and I was 161 and for some reason when I got home from work I weigh myself and i was 161 still! Im excited! maybe tomorrow i'll be 160 or 159 (FAINT)
but im not going to get my hopes up to high...

Has anyone tried freezing this yet? I'm curious to know if its like icecream?

I got my order from tropical traditions today so I got my huge coconut oil, and coconut cream concentrate. The concentrate is pretty good. Not what I expected (for some reason I thought it was going to be like the yummy top of a can of cocolopez) Its more like natural peanutbutter but only made from coconut? I can deff think of some great things to do with it! and I cant wait! YAY!

Day 1 for me.

I made two egg creams this morning. One was 12 oz of water, 1 whole egg and 2 egg yolks, one scoop of vanilla whey, one packet of berry crystal light and 4 strawberries. I had this for breakfast at 7:00 am. It was delicious and I was stuffed! The second one was the same but instead of the crystal light I used raspberry davinci syrup and 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries. I had this one for my lunch around 1:30. This one wasn't as frothy as the first one but I think its because I didn't drink it right away. It was still very tasty and filling. I was full until dinner.

Hubby wanted to go to a chinese rest tonight. I had 2 chicken wings, one steak teriyiki(sp?) and one egg foo yung pattie. Hopefully that didn't do too much damage. I just noticed I only have 2 eggs so I'll only have one egg cream tomorrow for breakfast.

Good Morning Egg Creamers After one day of 2 Egg Creams + stuffed cheddar burger & 4 88%Cocoa Dark Chocolate squares the scale is down 3/10 lb. I'll take it. On to day two of the challenge.
In Atkins 72 there's a recipe for a chocolate Egg Cream. 6 oz diet Chocolate Soda, 1 egg, 1 oz heavy cream = 1.2 gr. of carbs
Have a great Friday everyone.

I did 2 raw eggs, 1 oz hv cream, 1 TB davincis coconut, 4 oz hot decaf, blended in my bullet

it tasted good! but I am scared! I shouldnt be, as a LCF friend [Sandy] said, I have eaten raw cookie dough before!

it's 8:30 my time I will see when I feel hunger again...

I'm not scared but you can buy Pasteurized Dried Powdered Whole Eggs - Each can contains 2.25 pounds if it would put your mind at ease.

Some health foods store probably have liquid pasteurized eggs also

Good morning everyone! I haven't had an egg cream yet this morning because I just have not been hungry. I'm going home at lunch to have one, then tonight we are having salmon and baby artichokes. I love the baby artichokes that I have been making: I trim them, cut them in half, steam them for about 1/2 hour, then put them in a pan cut side up, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, flip them over so the cut side is down, and roast them for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees. The balsamic carmelizes a bit and makes a sweet coating. They come out so flavorful and tender, better than dipping in butter (and less fattening). I'm already looking forward to dinner!

One thing I have made myself do this week is NOT weigh. I weighed on Tuesday and was 128.2. I'm going to make Mondays my weigh in days and I will not weigh in between. I think weighing has contributed to my yo-yoing: I try something for a few days, then weigh and if I'm down, I think it's a license to cheat, but if I'm up, I think what I'm doing isn't working so I cheat. It's a horrible vicious circle and I'm going to stop. Once a week weighing is enough.

Have a great day, everyone, TGIF!

Love all the bathing suits. Woohoo! I can't wait to open the pool.

I'm feeling down today but not going to let it alter my plans. I had a delicious cream this morning with Davinci Kahlua and it was so good. No flax today, lol.

TOM is any minute so maybe that's why I'm so tired and a bit cranky. The good news is that I cleaned like a maniac for 2 hours this morning before work, got quite the sweat going, and now my house is weekend ready. All I have to do is some laundry and I'm set. I even marinated some chicken thighs for dinner too.

Have a good day all and keep up the good work.

I'm down half a pound today, not bad. so im at like 160.5 I wanted to be at 155 for my sister in laws wedding on the 18th but I dont think its going to happen unless I do the fat fast or something.

I wonder what would happen if I just drank 3 shakes a day? and didn't have any food. Its amazing to me how I dont get hungry at all while drinking these shakes. I had one for breakfast at like 8:00am and Can't even think about eating at all!

Tonight I have the rehersal dinner for my sister in laws wedding and after its at some italian restaraunt. I'm so scared! I don't want to cheat at all! I might have a few glasses of wine though. I deff dont want anything breaded or pasta. I'm going to tell them to not even bring it out for me if thats what they are serving. Italian is so not carb friendly!
I'm sure its a pre thought out menu also because there is going to be like 30 people there..
Maybe they will let me sub with a garden salad with grilled chicken with oil and vinegar..
KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!

XOXOXO
Kerry

Everyone have an amazing weekend!

WOE: Atkins '72. . .pass the eggs!
Start Date: 6/7/07 @ 193
All right, then. . .I'm in!

I was doing egg cream cappuccinos this summer, but had gotten away from them once school(work) started up again in September. I've had them off and on since then, but I like the idea of this challenge, so I've been doing egg creams this week (started on Tuesday). Also, for those of you who don't know me (Hi Gilly! Hi Ragdoll!), I also do Fast-5. The egg cream is a perfect fit for me with that woe.

Here's what I've been doing: I whip up an egg cream in my magic bullet in the morning, then screw the lid on and toss my bullet in my bag. . .yes, I take it to work! I keep my egg cream in the fridge all day at work. Then when I'm ready to open my eating window, I nuke my egg cream, and whip it in my bullet to get it all frothy again. It's a great way for me to open my window, because I get really full. I haven't tried them cold yet. . .I like 'em hot. Here's how I've been doing them this week:

2 eggs
2-3 T half & half
1 T coconut oil
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder (Nectar brand, 0 carbs, 0 fat)
small splash egg nog DaVinci's (or vanilla, but then I add a few good shakes of cinnamon, too)
6-8 oz hot coffee

Results? Well, nothing nearly as good as OurLuv posted on the 10-day egg cream experiment thread. However, today TOM started, and I am usually UP about 1-2 pounds on the first day of TOM. This morning I was down a whole pound! This doesn't happen in my world. Usually I see a little whoosh on about day 3 or 4 of TOM. I'm anxious to see what happens this time.

My first goal: To break out of the 150's (where I've been living since NOVEMBER) and be 148 by April 30.

Cheers!

Hello egg-creamers!

Day 2. The scale was up 1 pound this morning, but I think it was the chinese food we had last night.

I only had two raw eggs this morning so I made two egg creams, each one with 1 whole egg, one scoop of vanilla whey, 2 oz light cream and one packet of crystal light (1 orange and the other berry). The orange was really good, tasted just like the dreamsicles. I also had 2 hard boiled eggs in the fridge so I had one with each egg cream. These things are truly fulling. I had 6 oz of haddock and some spinach for supper.

I've had a headache all day and it just dawned on me that I'm prolly suffering from "induction flu". I had started adding more veggies and fruit lately and knocked myselt out of ketosis. Hopefully I'll see some movement on the scale soon.

Okay, I am just now joining the Challenge Board ... I am in the midst of a career crisis (I am in Sales and my Quota is due by the end of the month!), so we will see how often I can post in here. Then, again, after I lose my job I could be on here all the time! HA! Okay, I am going to make my number. I am going to make my number. I am going to make my number.

I love these Egg Creams! I am drinking a new concoction right now: whole milk yogurt, protein powder, two egg yolks, cherry DaVinci syrup and Coconut Oil. YUMMY! Okay, I just finished it! WOW!

I need to weigh myself ... I think I am at 188. I would love to be at 180 by Mem Day!! That would be like freakin' awesome!!!! My challenge to myself is to keep up my great workouts (Zumba 3x a week, Yoga 2x a week) and to drink at least one Egg Cream a day.

I'm subscribing because I have been doing the egg creams this week as well.

I usually do the 3 eggs, CO, DaVinci's flavors (my first art sweetner in over 2 months but I want this to work), and some cream, all with coffee.

I bought the pasturized eggs last night, just because I really can't afford to get any illness right now, not that I think that it is a huge risk if you wash the eggs down before you use them. Also, I would do this if anyone very young, old, or immune compromised was drinking any of the mix.

I have tried the flax meal.... it sinks but it doesn't bother me. But I'll probably try to find another way to put that in my diet. I like how the creams make it very possible for me to NOT snack at night, but I also know that this isn't low calorie, so as I'm not totally on low carb, I'll need to watch it.

I had two egg creams yesterday along with my stuffed cheddar burger. I also snacked a little too much yesterday but the scale was kind with A.M. & I'm finally back to my signature weight. So with the Egg Creams I'm down 1/2 lb in two days which is great for me since it's taken two full weeks to see the 3.6 lb that came on due to Easter & friends visiting come off again. Now I'm on to the place where I am aiming for goal weight or close to it by Memorial Day. Wish me luck.

to my FAST5 buddies, NM_Jennifer, Sazzie & Mommie22boys. It's nice to meet the rest of the folks on this thread, you're an inspiring group. Let's do this!
Hugs, Barbara

G'Saturday Morning, IFers

Just a quick minute for the pc before getting ready for our trip today.

Barbara wonderful news!! This eggnog (as I call it) has really hit big time, and has proven successful for many of us.

When I lived in Va., I remember making this very same combination with the exception of the heavy cream, and also attaining my goal in a short amount of time. I used 2
