Morning ladies.
I've been keeping up with the eggcreams but away from the heinous scale. TOM snuck up on me (I've been on Depo for years and just took my annual break so when TOM returned I was completely unprepared for the waterretention/weightgain associated). I freaked cuz I went way back up after I finally broke through to 216. Back to 216 this a.m. and hoping to keep things moving with my daily egg cream brekky and occasional lunch.

ROOTBEER FLOAT EC... YUM!

Report on the CO helping with hunger:

I had my EC this morning as usual.
At like ten I was STARVING.
So strange I'm usually ok.
When I got home I found out why.
My cup of CO was sitting in the micro where I melted it.
I FORGOT to add it to my EC.
So for me, I say the CO DEFINATELY helps with hunger and keeps me full.

The CO and Whey Protein is helping with my hunger finally. Today I had a EC around 6:30am and I started having hunger pangs around 11. I ate a small snack of hard salami and cheese then I drunk an EC at 1pm. I was fine the rest of the day. For dinner I ate some crab & shrimp salad. I am now full but i think it is just in my mind that i need something else to eat. I refuse to give in. Tomorrow my boss is taking us out for a mother's day lunch to a soul food restaurant so i pray that i will not give in to temptation.....

I got a promotion on my job so I will be too busy to sit and think about food like before.

OurLuvs: You will get that job!

Well I fell off plan between 180 to 155, now yay..
I got down to 160 and the hollidays happend (BOOOO) and I gained back to like 176 177...
So in like the beg of march I started eating low carb again.
And lost untill now..
I honestly have weeks where i'll lose 5lbs, then going 2 weeks with only losing one pound.. I just dont lose hope. I got stuck at 160 for a while. before the holidays I was stalled at 160 before I fell off plan too..
I know now from 155 to 140 will take me a long time.. Just keep remembering that the closer that you get to goal the longer it takes you to lose weight, which is fine with me, I cant complain. I feel great, I still want to lose weight, but im really enjoying my body and seeing it transform!
Enjoy the losses everyone!
Have a great weekend!
XOXO
Kerry

Luvs, you look fan-tab-ulos!!! TomsWife is right - I see a resembelance to Eva Longria too, especially the avi pic.

I've been away from the boards for awhile. I haven't been doing the eggcreams even though I do enjoy them. I've been stuck at the same weight since September. I did some more tweaking yet again and I'm still stuck. I may start up the eggcreams again for breakfast.

It looks like many of you are doing really well. KUTGW!

I need help!!

I am VERY interested in this challenge. I have been on Atkins since 2003 and started at 318lbs. In sept. of last year, I was down to my smallest since kindergarten , 145lbs! THEN I got hospitalized with Bacterial meningitis. I have suffered greatly with cordination and hormonal inbalances since then, even undergoing physical therapy to regain my balance and relieve vertigo. I am at 163.8 lbs this am and I PROMISE to GOD and everybody, that I have not cheated! not once! I have lowcarbed in one form or the other trying to make the scale go down, but no luck. Last week I was at 160.2 then the next day was 165.8 and yesterday morning was 165.8 again. I was so distraught! I got on here before work, looking for some support and some kind of way to jump start the fat loss. I found this challenge! I had been pondering a fat fast, when I happened on this. I tried it yesterday, just going by what I had time to read of all of your posts. I am down to 163.8 this morning! I am on again today .

Can someone explain this challenge to me? I gather that a basic E/C recipe is

2 whole raw eggs
2tbs heavy cream
1tbs coconut oil
and sweetener to taste
mix with diet soda, water, or coffee

this is one meal, right. We do this 2 meals a day, with one low carb meal?

By the way, I am NeenaE

Thanx for your help!

NeenaE! I salute you on your 170 lb weight loss - WOW.
That is amazing. Fantastic. Good for you!!!!!!!!

You and me, we are the exact SAME: I weighed 163 yesterday - my goal is 145. Let's race! hehehe!

Here's my Recipe, I find that I MUST add coconut oil AND protein powder or I do NOT stay full. But I do EC only once per day, for breakfast. I stay full thru late, large lunch and then a very light dinner.

HB's Favorite Breakfast ~ Egg Cream Frappuccino

3 organic free-range/cage-free eggs (fresh!)
2 oz (1/4 cup) organic heavy whipping cream *
8 oz coffee (brewed strong & chilled overnight) *
Jay Robb's whey protein powder (chocolate or any flavor)
splash of Torani or DaVinci SF syrup (french vanilla)
1-2 Tbsp organic virgin coconut oil (melted in microwave)

blend/froth eggs first; add cream and blend/froth again
(makes it fluffy!)
add the rest of the ingredients in the order above; CO last.

* Sometimes I substitute Almond Breeze or Atkins Advantage Shake for the coffee/cream + you can use any SF syrup under the rainbow of flavors!)

YUMMY!! This will definitely keep you FULL until lunch or dinner!!

PS: PLEASE TRY NOT TO BE A SLAVE TO THE SCALE ~ WEIGH WEEKLY NOT DAILY!

Hi again, please try NOT to use diet soda's or SF Jello or Crystal Lite, etc etc w/ Aspartame. In addition to causing weight loss stalls for many; this stuff is poison and causes damage to your body, esp your brain.

See the Sweet Misery thread for examples of what has happenned to LCF members using this stuff! Fawn, Cleo and many others have commented & shared their personal stories. You can watch the Sweet Misery clip too.

Very scary stuff. Use Splenda or NuNaturals Stevia or Whey Low.

XO,
HB

That is so wild, that you and I are the same! YES definitly! lets do this together! We can race if you want, or just walk. I'll probably be the one walking =) with the way i've been going lately. I soo appreciate your response. I have always watched the aspertame thing. I like to eat clean anyway. I order this Fiberfit to sweeten with. It's on nettrition.com It only takes a little like 4 tiny sqirts or 2 squeezes, which ever comes first, to sweeten a 20 oz glass of tea! I can't tell you how much I appreciate the advice. I am going to try your recipe for dinner. Is a baked turkey wing an ok lunch?

Cool, yes - let's walk together!

Yes, a baked turkey or chicken wing is a great lunch WITH some green veggies (salad or coleslaw or asparagus, etc. - for fiber and good veggie carbs)

More later!
