Thanks Neil....

Hope your (Ntombi & Lori) migranes are better tonight. I used to have them all my life...as did my mother...and both my DD's as well. Somehow, after my hysterictomy (sp?) I don't have migranes anymore....but...

no, Ntombi, I don't have Guitar Hero..but my grandson, next door, does. Think Matt really had a good time playing with it. I really like it too...but, then, you know how I feel about ALL music...

Glad Mike found your 'ears', Neil.

Terry.... is that interview you did out there now?? How can I find it?

Mike....how did you do today? I did a LOT better, I think...except when I traded JJ for Jr.... But still...I think it worked out better just the same. Thanks again for the help.

Hey guys. Matt and I had another great day at the rockpile yesterday. It wasn't the usual LCF get together...more like a family reunion (I don't see my family much). Matt had a blast with guitar hero...and his mom called me and said he got a great report card! I wouldn't say it was "great"...but he got 2 bees, 2 cees, and 1 dee in science. He still struggles with that. Anyway it was a HUGE improvement across the board for him! I'm very proud of him because he is REALLY trying. I see GH in his future I guess.

Terry...I went to your blog and watched the interview. You did great!I wish your side all the best with your legal proceedings. I had a camera, but didn't take any pictures. I didn't see your post until I got back. Next time for sure.

Ntombi...yup...you missed out on guitar hero...but who knew? I even took a couple stabs at "Sunshine of Your Love"...it wasn't pretty, believe me. I hope you're feeling better. As an aside...I'm definitely going to try your steak aging method, since I often buy the plastic wrapped grocery store steaks.

Neil...Had fun shooting with you yesterday. You probably noticed that I wore ear plugs for a change...and I can actually HEAR today. We had fun playing pinball...Matt could do that stuff until all hours of the night. Me? I'm getting too old for that when I have to drive. I basically just dropped last night after I got home. We really lucked out on our drive both ways...if it could only be that way all the time...

Charlee...yesterday was just awesome. Thank you for having us!Lunch was great...thanks a bunch. Matt didn't want to leave...kids. You sure got him hooked on GH and bottle rockets lol. He really likes going up to your place...me too for that matter. The way I see it you got a 681 on your nascar fantasy score. Congrats! That is an excellent score. You should have kept JJ though. I had JR too and it cost me some. I still did OK.

Lori...I've never had migraines either...only ocular migraines. I was telling Charlee about them. I feel for those who suffer from them.

Next stop Sizzler...I sure hope that everyone can make it there.

What I want to know is what knucklehead would EVER advise you to trade JJ for JR at Texas? He must be a real goofball whoever he is.

I forgot to tell you that I saw it last week, Terry! Good job.

Mike, let me know how the aging goes. We're still up for the OC fair, right? I'm really looking forward to it. Well, not the "looking the cow in the eye and marking it for death" thing, but the having trustworthy meat thing.

My migraine's down to a dull roar now. I'm really hoping it's completely gone by tomorrow morning. I'm supposed to work the election all day, and I don't want to contemplate what would happen if I couldn't. Good thing is that it's going to be a super-slow day. Mostly I hate that for elections, but this time, I'm relieved. Several people I spoke to didn't even remember that there was an election. I bet we have fewer than 25 people all day.

Thanks everyone for your kind words about the interview. So far, it's only on the internet, but they're hoping it will catch the attention of Dateline or another mainstream media program.

I have not had the opportunity yet to view Terry's show I hope to see it before it disappears It's too long to watch while at work ... and when I got home last night ... didn't really feel like 'putering much ... other than a quick look in here.

Terry, I hope it makes the networks though ... so I can grab it on DVR to watch at my leisure. I thought that was a regular news magazine show though? As the whole thing did make the newspapers here, hopefully it will get aired as well.

"Well, not the "looking the cow in the eye and marking it for death" thing" Ntombi ... if yer gonna eat it ... someone's gotta kill it ... ribs don't just pop up on your plate Now I never pictured Mike as a cold-blooded assassin ... but dang ... cows, pigs, fish ... without even thinking twice about it ... he doesn't even wait until they get to market

Woohooo ... short week for me ... taking off Friday for the Pet Expo.

I'm home from the election. We had a grand total of -- wait for it -- 16 voters (including four of us workers).

I did finish two books while I was there, trying to drown out the inane conversation of the others. They're nice, it was just all getting on my nerves.

AND we had 8 workers assigned to my precinct. For an election they KNEW would have an extremely low turnout. It was only in Long Beach, and not even all of Long Beach, only certain areas were voting for School Board members. Literally one question on the ballot, for only some of Long Beach, which means that the vast majority of voters didn't know/didn't remember/didn't care enough/didn't know enough to come vote. But they assigned 8 of us.

Of course, during the primary in Feb, we only had three, and I had to beg for a fourth. With four people we were just barely able to keep up (I took one bathroom break, during which all hell broke loose), and often had a line out the door.

Remind me again why Long Beach chose to do this? Shoot, remind me why I chose to do this! I'm in pain from my head to my ankles, and I'm not sure I'll be able to get up from this recliner.

Anyway, it's over, until June.

I imagine I'll be sleeping in tomorrow.

Good night...

Neil, I don't think it would be acceptable to air as is. They used footage from the Mike and Juliet Show, Good Morning America, and KTLA News without giving them the proper credit. I think the purpose of it is to arouse interest. Apparently, a lot of TV shows use The Insider's interviews as ideas for their own story. So, if this gets picked up by someone, I'll have to do another interview (assuming they'd want me). Most of the interview is done by the attorney handling the case, and he is way much better than I am, but then again, he knows more.
