... you can come to me anytime after 8 am. Just let me know by say 9 am if you'll be coming or not. If you're running late ... but coming, I think we'd both agree to wait for you ... there's no real start time ... just when we get there. I do want to check Charlee's wireless connection to her daughter, and am bringing my own laptop to do so ... to see if I can see her router from there, determine if the problem is on Gina's system, or the router setup or range ... range I doubt though being the issue. Anyway ... let me know one way or the other in the morning.

Thereabouts whenever ya get here. Like I said .. I'm an early riser, so I'm up anyway. Got everything out of the gun cabinet ready to go ... waiting for Deb to head to work in about 15 minutes so I can jump in the shower. I have determined that Charlee needs to spend more money ... she needs a signal booster to put out a stronger wifi signal than the router is currently doing. the guys just left a little bit ago.....so, they're on the road....

We (Neil, Mike, Matt & I) had a GREAT time today....a little of everything for everybody.....computer adventures (for Neil), Guitar Hero II (for Matt), Food and guns for everyone.

(Matt even got to play with Kyle & Brendan for a little while when they got home....with bottle rockets, or something like that..

). All in all...a well rounded day full of fun and fellowship. I LOVED it!!

and....yes, Terry..... the Kitties were in "stealth mode" the whole time the guys were here...

...but, as soon as everyone left....they appeared and were immediately right next to me on the couch....

Ntombi....I'm so sorry you're feeling bad.

Hope it goes away soon.

Lori, sorry you missed it too.....but, we'll all be together (it sounds like) at sizzler real soon.

Ana, give Jay a snuggle for me.....

Charlee, that's actually something I like about cats. Well, I like cats period, but the way they disappear when company comes over is nice. At least most cats are like that. Some are social and like to meet strangers, but most aren't that way at all. When I worked at the radio station, we had a cat that lived there. Every time someone came through the door, he came out to see who it was.

OK Charlee ... we're home safe ... been playing Wii

OK ... so we got home in just under 90 minutes ... made good time, no bad traffic other than one slow poke along the 138 is it? And of course where there was no passing

But overall, we made great time. When we got home, Matt and Mike played a bit of pinball on the Wii, checked out a couple of items, and headed home.

Anyway ... I'm missing one thing

my Mickey Mouse ears ... so I need Mike to check his trunk, Charlee her house ... and if anyone finds them ... I can get them from whomever when we meet at Sizzler. There's no great rush .. I only use them when shooting ... and that's only at Charlee's, and always with Mike. Unless of course Mike wants to check out trap and skeet shooting at Whittier Narrows at the range they have there

Otherwise ... no rush, and I'm quite sure that even that would not impose a rush at all as it would take us a while to decide and to actually get to it.

So ... YES, it was a most beautiful day!

Lots of fun, lots of love, lots of gunpowder ... love the smell of cordite on my fingers after shooting

We couldn't ask for better weather ... although it blew up a bit, it didn't get hot, stayed comfortable all day ... and did start to chill down even as we were coming up on heading home time. Too bad the Nun didn't show up for the shooting. One was going to come, but nun did.

30 years have all been the kind who couldn't pass up an opportunity to get loved on my any stranger who came thru the doors....

CHARLEE! You have Guitar Hero?!?! How come I didn't know this before?

I played it in Vegas, and I wanna play again.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Sizzler's.

I finally was able to leave the house for about a half an hour this afternoon. Long enough to drop a book at the library and stop in Albertson's. If anyone's interested, they have ribeye steaks on sale for $3.99/lb right now.

Charlee ... Mike found my ears in his trunk. Now I just have to remember to pick them up at the Sizzler meet.

Guitar Hero is NOT my thing at all. I don't like the music so won't buy or play it. Nor did I ever have dreams about playing a guitar or being a rock star ... just not my thing, never was. I know it's super popular. On the PS3, you can download new or more songs from the Sony Store online. I'll stick with my pinball, tennis, and first person shooters

Sorry you two are having all these migraines, and glad I never suffered those things.

We couldn't believe the ride either way yesterday ... we made excellent time both ways, actually about 80 minutes coming home .. and Mike is not a crazy driver. It is mostly freeway and open desert driving other than the under 2 miles to the freeway from my place.

Oh well, another chore day before going back to work

I only have a 4 day work week at least ... taking off Friday for the Pet Expo at the OC Fairgrounds.
