Hey everyone....I posted on the March thread the other day...oops.

I'm here and am now caught up on everything going on. I promise to be a better friend this week!

I really had a terrible PMS week last week....just terrible. I didn't want to bring all of my frustrations, grumpy stuff, and just all around PPMs to you all. Feeling better now....just still needing to get rid of the anxiety. My insomnia is back full force which just compounds everything. I really was able to learn a lot about my body these past months (again...duh, like we never learn right?). All the sugar and junk just doesn't help my menstrual cycle. And, like most of us, I've been hitting the junk, sugar, and fast food type things a lot.

I'm hitting the strict "d" word this week. To make it easy on myself for the first few days...I bought a 15 pack of the low carb Slim Fast drinks to help me. Also, a couple of tubs of the Dannon low fat plain yogurt. I'm hoping to shed 3 by Saturday. I know the first 3 or 4 will be water weight...but, my official weigh in isn't until Saturday because I need to shed my water bloat and then see the damage!!

Love you all.....more at lunch time because it will only take me about 15 seconds to drink it!!

Charlene....I hope you are feeling better this week and are able to get some sleep. We all seem to be having lots of troubles these days. How are things going at school?

Lise....I hope things are going better for you.
Yesterday Cathi came to visit. She told DH during the week that she was coming but he didn't tell me. I had nothing ready for them. They ended up eating cheese and crackers.I am going to have to put an emergency package in the freezer. I feel badly when I have nothing cooked for visitors.
I went to church and had a good visit with DD and all my old neighbours. I miss having someone to talk to. DH sleeps all day. I wake him up for his lunch and then later for his supper. Then he watches TV all night. Even in the car we do not talk very much because his hearing aid is not working very well so half the time he can't hear me. He wont go to get it fixed because he says he is going to die any day now. He reminds me of that TV show, Sandforth and Son.

Good morning to all- well we have a lovely 6" of snow on the ground this morning- ARGHHHH ENOUGH ALREADY!! And here when I was out walking last wk for 3 lovely days I thought I had it made yes spring was here- NOT !! But looks like it is going to get to 40 or so so will melt alot of it- thankfully.... anyhow no baby yet- DD has another dr appt tomorrow so we'll see what the dr says... anyhow off for now will ck in later.... ROCKIN'

First, Niki, that Caleb is so beautiful, I love all of his little chunkyness and those eyes. Not too mention his Aunt Janna getting all of that love. I (we) all still love kissing on our little man and hes 3. More pictures so we can watch him grow. Did your friend come?

Charlene, we all are having a hard time here, I got up this morning saying once again I got to get this weight off of me!!!!! We truly have missed your posts, and like everyone else here we miss when you don't post, but then again I miss whenever someone doesn't post no matter who it is. I love reading all of the posts.

Lil, glad you had a nice visit at church. I could send some chatter your way!!!! hehe Its not stop here!!!

Lise, how did you do over the weekend? I did terrible as I made a big supper last night, plus a lemon cake. No wonder I got up disqusted this morning.

Ok, off to tidy up before the bookcase man comes. Should be our window seat and bookcase in the downstairs computer room. We're ready for him today with pictures etc that we gave him before, so no mistakes today. Hes such a nice man, I can't get upset with him, then I vent to my DH after he leaves.

We taped "Fargo" the other day. Tried to watch it last night, but I couldn't stay awake, but was thinking about you.

Countrysunshine- I have never seen that show Fargo but from what some ppl. said I don't think it's all that great but I am so NOT a movie person- although DH & I did watch On Golden Pond yesterday afternoon since it was snowing all day not much to do anyhow so that was a good movie to see again since it had been awhile..... Well somehow my e.s.p. is telling me this week is gonna be the week DD pops out baby Ethan....

I've done fairly well on so proud of myself for that but still have a ways to go to get where I was and even if I don't get there I'm fine w/that I'll take halfway for now!! haha

It's not like I have a few things on my mind these days?!?!?!

Good morning...we've been busy so I have quite a bit of data to enter...I'm trying to pace myself so I don't have to rush by the due date which will be next Monday...

I've done really well on plan for a couple of weeks now....I'm down another lb today...

My menu:
B-LC cheesecake (my last piece)
S-2 cheese strings, coffee
L-LO salmon and V8
S-1 c SF FF yogourt
D-2 eggs/1 delux cheese slice/ 2 pc bacon on oopsie rolls plus fried cabbage
S-if I need it will be 1 c frozen raspberries and 1 c 1% milk...

Charlene....I'm glad you are feeling better........let me know how it goes with the LC slimfast.....we don't have it here....I say that if they help you get on track then go for it....if they are yummy you might want to keep some around for the times when you might find yourself hungry and thinking about the drive through....I had 2 string cheese in my purse every time I left the house this weekend...even when I went to my mom's....I didn't have any of the junk food she had out while we played cards but I did have a string cheese on the way home.......I have been feeling 100 % better too....although this may have to do with getting more sleep as we don't get up at 4:40 am anymore....I get up at 6:15 now and gradually wake everyone else.........and having my sugars down between 5 and 8 is probably helping alot too...(90 to 144 )...

Joyce.....I hope your guy gets the other bookcase and window seat all done today so you can start to enjoy your new house....hard to believe you have been there for 2 years already and just look at all the changes you have made.......I thought of you yesterday at Michael's....they had all kinds of M & M stationary.......

Lillian... at Dad for not letting you know that Cathi was coming...I'm sure they were fine with what you served them.......

Robin.....I hope Grandma's intuition is right and the baby comes this week....waiting is so hard....both of my babies were late......

Lise, as 9:30 this morning we called the bookcase man, no answer at office or cell. HMMMMMMMM, I could see the steam coming, so I called the office again and he answers. Of course he said I was just going to call you as the varnish is not quite dry on the window seat, so I won't be there till after lunch. Oh man, why do people do that for? Hes such a good craftsman and he seems not to have a care in the world, but he truly needs a lesson in how to accommodate his customers. Plus how long has it been since we signed the contract and he doesn't have it done yet? Plus we called when we first got back to let him know we were back in case he wanted an earlier install. Oh such is life here in WV.

Hey everyone

I decided to eat a Healthy Choice lunch being I have to work at the learning center tonight. So, it will be the Slim Fast drink while there. Just a switcharoo.

The Slim Fast low carb drinks are pretty tasty and less expensive than the Atkins ones. About the same calories and yada, yada. I only have chocolate because it's what Sam's Club had. Not too bad of an aftertaste.

Lise...I read up in another post that they are treating W's rash as lupus with malaria meds? Gosh, doesn't the malaria meds have just as many side affects as what's going on in his body? I'm only remembering that some people had to take the malaria drugs while I was on Okinawa....one poor Lieutenant was hospitalized from the side effects. Great pics of Kate and the pinewood derby.

Joyce....hope your hand crafted furniture gets to you today. That is so frustrating.

Robin... foreseeing the future already Gramma? Ethan is a great name.

Lil...every time I eat yogurt, I think of you and how you make your own. Every time....weird I know.

Niki...oh the pictures you post are so adorable of Caleb. Made me chuckle when I saw the pics of the pooches.

Well, lunch is almost over and I need to check the teacher box, go to the bathroom and all that stuff.

Yes there are side effects but if it makes the lupus clear up then it's something that he has to go through....I'm really worried about him at this point...he is so fatigued...didn't go to work today....he went last Thur and he was so exhausted when he got home....he's losing interest in food..he's so tired and sleeping alot...yesterday I saw that his arms are swollen....his arms go straight from shoulder to wrist...we need to see his doc again....I'm worried about how all the drugs are interacting....he is on so much antihistamine that it's no wonder he's tired but now his arms....and his neck is stiff...and he has pouches of fluid under his eyes......I'm trying not to panic and taking it one day at a time.....

DD called and said she was having pains/maybe contractions every 15 to 20 mins. or so so told her to keep me updated @ all times since I am her homeopathic dr as I tell everyone?!? haha So who knows maybe tonight I'll be @ the hospital- now like I'm REALLY gonna get any sleep tonight- NOT !! haha ok off for now- will keep y'all posted.. Robin, we were up from 9:00 A.M. till the following morning when our GS was born at 5:55 a.m. the following day. You will be so excited. Please keep us informed. We're all waiting even if this is a false alarm.





Ok, he finally got here at 2:00 this afternoon. What a beautiful piece he has made for us. Now to find the perfect cushion and window covering. One thing always leads to another. He is also going to built us a desk for that one corner. No mention of money so will see when he comes back toward the end of this week. He definitely needs help in customer satisfaction and taking notes. We actually gave him pictures with the dimensions right on it. He has a hard time handly it when he is wrong. Gosh if I could only sew!!!!!

Robin, shes so young and knowing what a contraction is, is HARD. I remember from my first pregnancy. My daughter was 30 when she had our GS and she didn't know how to know one pain from the other...Still exciting tho isn't it?? It won't be long, hang in there G'MA...

Also Robin, what you heard about that movie, is totally correct. Not worth watching in my opinion and DH wasn't fond of it either. We both love Golden Pond also.

We went shopping this morning. I got myself a new mouse. I was ages getting it out of the package.

It's a Boy It's a Boy It's a Boy!!!!! OMG good evening to all my LC buddies and finally @ 12:33pm this afternoon DD had her son; Ethan 7lbs 5 oz 19" long and he is soooo cute and has alot of hair... DD called me @ 4:10am to inform me she was in the hospital and here we go!! It was a long day but oh so wonderful and DD did an awesome job w/her first one- alot better than I did actually?!? haha For those wondering DD's due date was a week from today- April 15th.. anyhow tks to everyone for all the thoughts n' prayers and it was wonderful experience to be there w/my DD in the birthing rooms- tears of joy were everywhere as soon as I saw that precious little baby. ok off for now Grandma is on her way back to the hospital and then home for some much needed rest!! Talk to you all tomorrow & tks again for all the support- my buddies are the best! ROCKIN'
