Bufo- Are the LC tortillas nice? I bought some today so may have one tomorrow!
Bramble ~ I have tried the LaTortilla Factory ones , the Mission ones , the Flatout brand and the Don Panchos . I like the LaTortilla Factory ones best because they are "denser" and less likely to make me crave them. The Mission ones taste great too, but are dangerous for me.

They are nice to have around, but it's something I need to watch so I don't eat too many of them in a day or week. Try to only allow 1 in a day or no more than 3 a week, otherwise they could cause me to stall (I'm sure they're a YMMV thing). I like to use Sherrie's Burger Buns (made just plain - without her spices) to use as bread for sandwiches, McMuffins, etc. They don't stall me.

I want to see what everyone looks like now! Just a face shot, if thats what your most comfortable with.. It's nice to see who we are talking to everyday!! Come on girls, don't be shy!!
Oh for the love of... Lucy, I can see you're going to be a troublemaker! You all better give me a couple of days.

*off to dig out digital camera.... which box was that in again?*

Evening everyone--oh what a crazy day! All good, but just way too busy. But, I wanted to get my buns in here before Lisa gets me!

Yesterdays modified M&E--yep, won't be doing that again anytime soon! Lei, you did that for 6 weeks? Were you insane!? I'm pretty sure I'd rather stay fat!

Todays eats:
b: chicken tenders and pumpkin muffin
l: taco salad, fruit salad with strawberries and banana, pb cheesecake muffin
d: mahi mahi, green bean casserole, jello fluff

I have to tell you my little "victory" story about the banana. I had to run an errand at lunch and stopped to get gas. Normally nothing in the gas station/grocery store/bakery/etc tempts me. I buy junk food for my staff all the time and never even think about it. Well, I don't know if it was the M&E thing from yesterday, or all my sugar cravings lately or what, but I saw one of my very favorite treats and it was calling my name. I picked it up, looked at the nutritional stuff and put it down. Then I wandered around the store looking at a variety of treats and KNEW that I was going to buy something to eat at lunch---and ended up buying a banana! That has never happened to me before--pretty much when I know I'm going to go off the deep end, I do! So, even though I didn't need the banana really--I'm pretty happy that I made a decent choice.

Alisa--welcome, welcome! I can totally relate with the losing/re-gaining thing. I've done it many times and am currently fighting that process right now. Please hang out with us and post often!

Lucy--yay on the lb! You are beautiful--I love your coloring! My sister has that gorgeous olive skin and dark eyes and hair as well and I've always wished that I did! Yes, you can definitely tell the difference, your face is fuller in the before pic.

Hey everyone else. I hate to not do anymore personals but I just got home and only have about an hour to get things ready for my day tomorrow and then hop in bed! I'll try to get in first thing in the morning if possible, but it's going to be another busy day so who knows.

Have a good night!

Yup, 6 weeks, and like I said before, I will NEVER do it again... Well maybe if I take a face plant off the band wagon, (Lisa knows I can't stay away from cookies forever) but only for 3 days max! Good luck to ya Teresa! (your gonna need it)

Lisa~ Hair covering your face does NOT count!!! And yes of course I'd be the one to point that out...

Today is my picture day so I will be taking pictures and ocmparing to last month, I'll try to share the face shots with you guys. I have a huge steam burn on my inner fore arm and I cant type much or be on the computer much
How do you make cauliflower rice?
BTW, your pictures are beautiful and you can really see the difference in your face!

Bufo- Are the LC tortillas nice? I bought some today so may have one tomorrow!

My menu for today!

B: 3 boiled eggs
L: Salted peanuts (my lunch went nasty in my bag cos I forgot to put it in the fridge when I got to work so I threw it away..)
D: Sausage and a vegetable thing that my mum made with cream, leeks, cabbage, tomato and onion and I don't know what else lol (she assures me it was LC and she lost over half her body weight doing LC so I trust her judgement!).
S: Strawberries & cream

Walked 4 miles today!

Night all .

Oh and erm I don't have a tape measure so I can't measure myself tomorrow .
It's great that your mom does LC. Been trying to get my mother to try it, and her response is "But can I have real sugar in my coffee?" For her, this is a deal breaker.

HILARIOUS!!! This reminds me of a time last year, when I was haunting the bakery section of the supermarket, smelling and feeling the goods. People were looking at me as if I were a real FREAK!

Congrats on your victory, I know how hard these temptations are. I had a moment earlier today, when my coworker was eating chips and a pastry for lunch. I had an urge to go out and buy some for myself, but thankfully, the urge passed quickly. Besides I already know what that stuff tastes like.

This evening I attended a function that served so much food that was LC friendly. I was so happy. I brought some food with me, but didn't have to touch it. They had grilled chicken and shrimp on skewers, a cheese platter, a raw veggie platter, and an interesting appetizer with a cherry tomato skewered to a spinach leaf stuffed with basil and fresh mozzarella. Yumm-o! They had some carby stuff that didn't interest me, but there was tons of great wine. I was so tempted to have a glass and almost rationalized that I can afford the carbs. But in the end I decided to drink water instead.

Today's menu:
b: Turkey loaf sandwich, w/cheese, lc ketchup, and 2 oopsie rolls, coffee
l: Roast pork, homemade coleslaw, dill pickle, coffee
d: see above
s: almonds, herb tea
water: almost 3 liters so far

Thanks!
Well cauliflower rice is just cooked cauliflower shredded in the food processor, it coesout looking like white rice and the texture is very similar so longa s you don't overcook the cauliflower. You can add spices to it and saute it and make "fried rice" out of it

Okay Im in a hurry here, I can't believe Im actually up early. can u believe I was out of bed by 6:45 AM, SHOWERED and stayed up!? My Kid got up after me LOL. I'm trying to get in a healthy routine here, for my house's sake, my weight loss and to make sure Dh is fed before work. So everyone benefits, I went to bed at 10:30 last night and the night before, compared to my 1 or 2 am bedtime.

Okay measurements:

Neck 16
Bicep 14
forearm 10
Chest 48
Waist 48
Hips 56
Thigh 28

Compared to March 18th when I first took measurements

neck 17
chest 51
waist 54
Hips 60
Thigh 32

Doing good and yes I think we ALL should do comparison pics every month, NO EXCUSES
