My Plan is actually fairly simple
Fresh Meats, and Veggies - no wheat products, no artificial sweeteners, no HFCS, no fruit for a while anyway - and no artificial colors. ( I follow FG for me and my daughter- wanna know what this is email me separate
) It's South Beach with a twist. The only bad part is I do drink Diet soda ( which I am trying to wean myself from) so that is my only artificial. I drink coffee with skim milk and that's it. I can use natural no calorie sweeteners like sweat leaf, stevia, and agava.I am doing stretching in the Morn( Yoga or limbering) and 3 days a week - either walking or riding a bike. So that's the plan at least for now and since I have been doing it for a year (except eating off the plan 1x -2x's a week) I have maintained but I want to LOSE I want to be at my goal before 2009!

Hey Kim - that sounds like a good plan! I'm trying to keep to as natural as possible, but I do have a few frankenfoods I rely on in a pinch. Slimfast low carb shakes being one of them.
Hey Krissy - nope, not at 229 yet. In fact, I'm up today, but i had a couple drinks last night and some salty food, so I'm not stressing on it. We'll see whats up in a couple days. I did go to kickboxing, and it was tough. Different instructor and i think he must have been a drill sargeant in his younger days. Seriously kicked my butt! Renae - hope you feel better! Enjoy zoning out for a while! So heres my food for today: B - coffee w/h&h, slimfast shake L - grilled chicken and broccoli w/ a little teriyaki sauce, miso soup D - beef roast is cookin in the crock pot at home. i'll prolly have that with some salad for dinner. S - a little bag of mini carrots are my new dessert in the evening. So sweet and crunchy! Aly 261/231/229 (a temporary set back for sure) |

Does applebees have hot wings? Bunless burger? Stay AWAY from DD!!
![]() I'm staying on plan. I almost ate Campbell's tomato soup, but that is LOADED with HFCS!! So I made homemade tomato soup with RoTels, tomato paste, minced onion, homemade chicken stock, and cream. It was good and spicy. Not sure what we're having today. Pork roast for dinner, I'm sure. |

My roommate works at Applebee's, so I eat their food ALL THE TIME. :| Frankly, I'm a little tired of it, but I think there are a few options there. I often have a steak and veggies with just butter, no sauces of any kind, or a big green salad with hb egg, bacon and cheese on it.
I was on plan yesterday. Wanted ice cream but didnt give in. I cooked a london broil roast in the crock pot and it turned out quite nicely. i stuck the fork in and it literally fell apart without doing anything else. Unfortunately, I'm back up to 233, but my body fat is lower than it was on Monday. I can't imagine I've built a pound of muscle, but I'm reassured to see that I didn't gain a couple pounds of fat. I don't feel that much puffier, actually, so, we'll see. Just gonna keep on keepin on. The plan today: B - Shake, coffee, water L - Green salad w/ low carb ranch, shredded beef S - cucumber, maybe a coffee D - roommate is cooking tonight i think, so who knows! but he knows how to cook low carb. maybe chili, maybe meatloaf, maybe tilapia. Ok gals - have a great day. Aly 261/233/229 (Not gonna give up on the goal this week!) |

Thanks! I misbehaved a lil on the weekend, but not too much. A few drinks when a gal pal and I went out on the town. Man, its been a while since I've gone bar hopping in San Francisco. I feel so old! It was fun, nonetheless.
I'm still up a little, but I feel like things are moving in the right direction. Anytime I go back to induction, I get a little, er, stopped up. Ahem. So.... maybe we'll see a change in trend this week. I might hit the gym tonight, or take a nice walk around Lake Merritt. Its a four mile trek and I try to get it done as close to 1 hour as I can. 8 - coffee w/ h&h 11 - green salad w/ egg, bacon, cheese 4 - double bacon cheeseburger (just meat, of course!) D - after walk, maybe a little bit of pork loin, perhaps some asparagus, although I suspect I won't be hungry tonight. S - if I don't eat dinner, I will probably have some more strawberries and cream. I'm almost done with the berries. Nom nom nom! Well ladies - hope you're all well! We had GORGEOUS weather here in the Bay Area. One of our 3 allotted "nice weekends" per year. ![]() Peace, Aly 261/232.6/229 (redoubling my efforts!!!!) |

Man Krissy - that menu sounds good. I'm so hongry. In fact, although I just got to work I'm going to run out in a few minutes to get an omelette. Mmmmm...
The girls from work and I will be going out to dinner tonight to this deep dish pizza place, so I've been pretty limited on food over the last couple days. After the gym yesterday I had one very small slice of pork loin, but that was mostly just to see how the flavor was. The gym was good. I did 50 minutes of hills and some running on the treadmill. I pushed myself for a lot of it, which felt great. Plan to go back on Thursday. Menu for today: B - coffee w/h&h, omelette w/ bacon, cheese and avocado L - cafe au lait, maybe a low carb shake if i'm hungry the omelette usually tides me over D - DEEP DISH PIZZA BABY! I loooove it. Not low carb at all. Mu ha ha. S - strawberries and cream tonight if I feel like it. Ok ladies - have a great TAX DAY. (Mine are done! Yay!) Where all my ladies at?
Well, the deep dish was delish, no doubt about it. I had a glass of red wine which I rarely have, some caprese salad, and 2 pieces of the classic deep dish pizza. Nom nom nom. Whats on tap for today? Hmmmm B - coffee and a slimfast shake. Not so delish, but necessary. L - I'm thinking I might get another omelette. I love them. I really do. And they keep me full for soooooo long! D - Cheeseburger or cajun chicken. We'll see what I feel like cooking once I get home tonight. I'm going to this presentation for a non profit called CEO Women tonight - low income and immigrant women are paired with a mentor who helps them develop their own small businesses. I'm considering helping out with it in the fall... hope to get a better idea of what they do. Then tomorrow I'm going to hit the gym again and go to Target to buy some new workout gear. When my friends from work saw me in my baggy pants heading to the gym, they were like, girl, you gotta upgrade! So I'm gonna... Hope you're all having a great day!!!! Wow... we must all be having an off week.
Or we're spending WAY too much time in the gym.Same old same old here. I ate pretty well yesterday. Today is administrative assistants day and I walked in to find my bankers had left me chocolates on my chair. CHOCOLATES!!!! Why? why? Don't worry, I've only had about 5. Ugh. Hitting the gym tonight like a mother. Burn off those chocos baby! Hope you're all well and have treated your assistants nicely today. ![]() |
