Morning ladies. This one was on top, so I'm posting here

Had a busy weekend, then went to visit my mom on Sunday. I wasn't supposed to come back until this afternoon, but came back last night because I got a call from the docs office saying they rescheduled the HIDA scan for this morning. I'm so glad I didn't even have to call and ask them to do it.

I'm not eating on any plan right now. Just trying not to overeat. But, I want to get back on Atkins tomorrow. Not sure what today will hold as I have nothing prepared, the test is late this morning in a city north of us so it will take me over an hour to get there, then the test lasts a couple hours. I can't have anything to eat for 12 hours prior to the test, so me thinks hunger will take over when I get out of there.

BBL to catch up on you two.

**Okay..forget the other thread - I just copied and posted from there to here. We'll use this one and the other will expire **

Good Morning!

Guess what? One day of induction = 10 lbs. lost!!!!!

April Fools! LOL (totally unbelievable, I know)

But, feeling pretty good this morning with a better outlook than yesterday. Actually found it was easier to wake up already too! I know it's only been one day, but I can ALWAYS tell such a difference in just one day of LC eating.

Weight: 181.0 (thought I felt less bloated)
Exercise: 50 crunches, 35 triceps extensions and will walk the dog (if weather allows)

Eating plan:
B - 2 c. coffee w/splenda/half/half
- 2 ham, swiss, lettuce, mayo rolls
- 1 lemon s/f jello fluff (the lemon is tasty)

L - Chicken salad
- 1 oz. cheese "crackers" (using these instead of almonds)
- lettuce salad w/ranch

D - Shredded pork w/ melted cheese and grilled onions & green peppers
(the guys will have bbq pork on bun)
- coleslaw
- maybe a bit of salad (the guys will have corn)

snacks - going to try to do without though may prepare some broccoli and dip

It was so windy and loud here all night! I guess it's our warm weather blowing away LOL Soccer postponed from last night to tonight. I'm hoping for at least 40's for the kids - though they don't seem to care much. All that running around keeps them warm I suppose.

I'd better go switch the laundry and get ready for work. Will check back later!

*I wonder what happened to Anne?*

I wonder about Anne, too. I know her daughter was dealing with health issues. I hope everything is ok with her and her family. Come back, Anne-we miss you

Toni~ Very funny with the 10 pounds! It's not raining here but is still dreary. I wanted to take the girls for a walk and have lunch at Wendys but Im waiting to see if the sun will appear. I currently have 5 ladies in my downline I took my before photos for Callanetics-UGH is all I can say. I really hope to see a difference after 10 or 15 hours! I did see a small loss on the scale this AM, but Ill wait to see if it sticks before posting. Gonna do another hour of 10/10 today. BBL...

Hi! Yes, just got back from soccer practice - sure is cold out there! Going to empty the dishwasher, throw in some laundry (not into the dishwasher LOL) and sit down with Jake to watch Meet the Robinsons. Kurt is at a meeting so it'll be a quiet night.

Looks like it's too late to walk the dog, so we'll have to wait until tomorrow. Oh well.

Eating (or should I say NOT eating) was much easier today than yesterday. It's nice to know that each day gets easier and easier. Even at dinner tonight, I really didn't feel like finishing my food. Though now, I'm a little munchie. Jacob is going to want popcorn with the movie I'm sure - I'll have to make some cheese "crackers". I do like those little boogers LOL

Hope you all have a good night! Will check in before bed then on to morning

Well, we got too busy and too late for the movie. I guess the internet (for me) and Nerf basketball (for Jacob) was more fun LOL Heading off to bed - stomach is rumbling so if I hurry and go to bed, I can just forget about munching on anything! "night

I won't get results from the test today; not sure when, and my doc is on vacation. So, hope to hear soon.

I came home (after a 5 hour trip) with a killer headache and went to bed for almost 3 hours. Feeling better now.

I'm starting Induction tomorrow so need to get prepared mentally.

Will do better at personals tomorrow. I really don't believe it's all about me. Just too tired to respond tonight.

Good Morning Ladies!!!

Sue - YES! It is about you...get yourself better!!! Very anxious to hear about the testing so I can't imagine how you must feel. Sorry about the headache - those things can really knock you down. Best of luck with induction - today is day 3 for me and already getting easier. You can do it!!!!

Lisa - How's the weather today? I hope your 70's are holding in there! Our nastiness finally blew out overnight and expecting 50 and sunny today...finally the SUN!! Another soccer/baseball evening today. Saturday is the first game - once the games start, the practices end so soccer will be limited to Saturdays with only 1 week night game.

Today's stats:
Weight:181.6
Exercise: 50 crunches, 35 triceps extensions, walk the dog

B - 2 c. coffee w/splenda/half/half
- 2 ham, swiss, mayo, lettuce roll ups
- lemon s/f jello fluff (need to make some more today!)

L - chicken salad (I need to change this up but this is convenient with little prep work; DH always takes leftovers for his lunch)
- 1 oz. cheese "crackers"
- lettuce salad w/dressing

D - Stuffed Peppers
- Cauliflower w/butter
(boys will also have buttered pasta)
- salad

I'm having a difficult time staying away from the peanut butter. I'm SO used to just eating a spoonful here or there whenever I want something "sweet". I actually stuck some in my mouth yesterday WITHOUT even thinking! So....I spit it out LOL

Anyway, better get going if I'm going to do some exercises! Enjoy your day girls!

Sue~ Dont give it a second thought. You do have to concentrate on getting well. Do you really feel up to doing induction? If so GREAT- but if not I wouldnt sweat it. You know you can get back to business once you get everything figured out

Toni~ Oh the dreaded PB! You know I have been known to just eat it straight from the jar I had to put it in the waaay back of the fridge. Out off sight, out of mind

Ok Im claiming another pound-down to 143! I have very limited groceries so my menu will be boring today. I am out of EVERYTHING including my vitamins and supplements Today is a rest day from Callanetics so Ill do some cardio and weights today.

Have a good one!!

Yes - I eat the PB right from the jar too. If I had a lizard tongue I wouldn't even need a spoon! Usually I'll take about 1/2 tsp. and just let it melt in my mouth - that usually cures my sweet tooth craving. Or, a little on some celery Oh, I hate when my grocs are low - that is when I tend to go off of plan because I get so hungry that I'll eat whatever is available. Nice ticker by the way!! Also, do you realize that you are less than 10 lbs from goal?????????? Woowee!

I would kill for some peanut butter right now! But Ill have to settle for my sf jello and whipped cream-AGAIN I will be so happy when I reach goal and can maintain. I know they say it's harder, but I was maintaining for months eating from all the rungs so I think I will do OK. The only thing is I find myself unable to be excited with less than 10 to go, because I dont think thats my FINAL goal I have to wait & see when I get there if its enough. With the exerercise it might be My DREAM goal was 125. I am just focusing on one day at a time Glad you like my ticker-I changed from the bunny to a ladybug cuz it was more summery-is that even a word? LOL

I know what you mean. I have those false "goal" thoughts as well. When I was 220..I would've killed to be a size 12...now that I'm a size 12...I would kill to be an 8...etc. etc. etc. We have to be able to focus on short term goals though - otherwise the long term seem sooo unreachable. Right now, I just want to get through induction again and break my 170 wall. I'll make a new goal from there. I've never climbed the carb ladder correctly - so maybe this time I'll try it and see what happens. I'm always SOO afraid of adding carbs because I feel like the least little "up" on my carbs (as it is) and I'm gaining. So, I dont know how my body will respond to the ladder thing. Can't hurt to try at this point.

I think I'm going to get some real whipped cream this week to put on my jello fluff - I'm really liking this stuff!!! It doesn't even seem like a "diet" dessert! Ate my last one this morning so I'll try a new flavor today...can't wait HAHA Hey, if it keeps me out of the PB, I'll take it!

Just a side note mostly for myself LOL

- Axed the lunch salad and replaced with leftover coleslaw from dinner last night, reached for the PB on instinct but didn't have any

I know it was the same for me. When I started at 180 pounds, 143/size 8 seemed so far away and unreachable. Now that Im here, I will see what happens, and as I said reevaluate at my "false" goal Dont get me wrong-I am very proud of the progress Ive made and all the HARD work it took to get here. I tell myself daily that Ive already won and anything from here is just icing. I dont want to be one of those people who is never satisfied/happy ya know? Well my menu so far is:

B-stuffed cabbage
L-brussel sprouts w/ butter
S-sf jello w/ whipped cream
D-fried eggs & bacon

water(ugh I had to drink tap cuz Im outta bottled) decaf iced tea in between
Total Body Sculpt

Glad there was no PB
