Stacey~ ONLY yoga sculpt???? Are you kidding??? Yoga and pilates are NOT easy!!! I remember watching the Callanetics DVD the first time and thinking, this is gonna be easy-boy was I WRONG!!! Any exercise you get is good. You are soooo close to your goal. Is it taking a long time to lose the last few? I cant seem to get out of the 140s now. I have been gaining & losing same 5 pounds over & over since Jan I am seriously considering throwing my scale away-it just makes me crazy. I can see & feel differences from the exercise so why does it matter so much to me that I weigh X??? UGHHHHHH! After I get some more hours of 10/10 done I will take pics and compare. Hopefully it will make me feel better

Hey Lisa! I feel better after working out now. That seems so weird to me, but it's true. I think I feel good enough to do some callanetics this afternoon.

Yep these last few are so annoying. I am stuck at 129.5, I am not sure what else to do. I know I feel really great, so I am not going to fret about it. They always say that you will eventually hit a plateau. So maybe that is where we are, and remember muscle weighs more than fat.

Hope you have a wonderful day!!

Good mornings ladies! Just a very quick hello - we have a funeral at the church this morning so trying to get things prepared for that. I'm either getting a nice cold or allergies are turning themselves on today. geesh.

Despite a few no-no's last night, the scale is still down today.

b- 2 c. coffee/half/splenda
- 2 romaine lettuce wraps w/mayo, ham, swiss

L - ummm...not sure...whatever is at the funeral luncheon i suppose

d - grilled chicken salads loaded up with veggies.
- maybe a diet pepsi

Normally, I stay away from diet soda - but lately I've had it in the house due to the meetings and dinner guests - so...I guess I'll drink it up. LOL Then I won't have to buy it again for a while.

Great job on the exercise ladies!! I've wondered about the plateaus before as well...I just hope mine is not in the 170's!!! LOL

Nice day today..enjoy!

You are to funny Lisa!

I had a muffin with Peanut butter w/ strawberries. I made these muffins this morning using soy flour. I had never had it before, but soy flour has this weird taste to it. I don't think I am a huge fan. I think I am gonna make them next time with almond flour. I love that stuff!!

Talk to you all later!

Fitday is a tool on the internet to help you keep track of your food for the day. You enter foods you eat and can see percentages of fat, carbs & protein, total cals etc. I do much better when I use it, but have been lazy last few days-or maybe its just denial LOL An account is free

Yummy...white castle pie!! From earlier post - I always wanted to try making something with almond flour but it's like $15 a pound here. I know I can make my own - but I always just end up eating the almonds. LOL

I feel awful - this cold thing is getting worse as the night goes on. I think I'm calling it a night ladies. I'm just too run down

Take care!

Wow, I didn't realize that it was that expensive. I only pay a couple bucks for a 16 oz bag. I don't think that I would use it as much if it cost that much. Craziness! Well My legs are burnt out this morning, so I just worked on my arms (trying to lose the flab) and my abs. One day I actually want to see my abs (hahah). Since I started using weights, will I go up in weight on the scale? I have put on a lbs and a half since yesterday? Do you all weigh yourselves daily, weekly or what? I am getting a little annoyed with my scale right now. It keeps going up. I have done nothing different with my food intake. So I can't figure out the problem. Please help :P

Good morning!

Stacey, I have seen others post about gaining when using weights. Water is essential to building lean muscle mass and it will show on the scale. It is driving me NUTS! I hid my scale yesterday and dont plan to get on for a while. I used to tell myself I needed to check to keep myself accountable. But it just messes with my head and sets me up for a bad mood day when it stays the same or goes up So Im using my clothes and pics to motivate me for now. HTH

Wow! 19! I can't believe you have a teenager!! Tell him happy b-day!

Ok, glad to know others have this problem. I think I will follow your lead and judge by my clothing. By the way, thanks for the heads up on Fitday. I just signed up and it is exactly what I have needed. I was trying to write it all down, but then I would have to look up calories, carbs and so on. This makes it much easier!

I hope she is doing well also. Hope she checks in today.

Wow you must have a house full. I am watching a 6 month old for a couple of weeks. He gets here at 0630 and leaves about 1745. (oh sorry 5:45 pm) Military time is bred into me I have figured out that one child suits me! hahaha!

My legs are feeling pretty good now, so I think I might do some callanetics this afternoon. I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, Today was bread making day. It makes the house smell so yummy. That is the only thing I miss eating. I think I have to find a bread recipe that is low carb. I can't stand the stuff they sell in the store, kinda reminds me of cardboard. Anyone have any suggestions about what you do?

Naw - last night was not real good - ended up in bed by 8 and tonight is not much better...it comes and goes in waves..really weird. I took some meds for allergies but it really didn't do anything - so I'm assuming it's a cold. Who knows where I caught this from - I don't even know anyone that has a cold! Total sinus. I'm in no shape or form to be giving LC advice right now. I'm a mess all the way around LOL For some reason - I can't seem to stay on LC for one single day - it used to come so easy to me. Now, I'm not sure what to do. My pants were not extremely comfy today so I need to do something before I get out of hand. We'll see I guess. I plan my dinners out - I try and prepare food when I can - I suppose there are just days where I simply don't care. That's dangerous for me Anyway, hope you all are doing ok!

Stacey - I've never found a sub for bread. I used to REALLY enjoy the flax seed muffins topped with cream cheese - it was the closest thing I could find to any sort of baked good. Also, the Oopsie rolls topped with shredded cheese are pretty good - not the same, but good.

Very Strange - got woken up by an EARTHQUAKE this morning!!! Holy cow! NOT normal for the midwest LOL I've only felt one other here in my lifetime and not near what this one was.

Trying again today *sigh*

B- 2 c. coffee w/half/half/splenda
- 2 scrambled eggs w/half/half, grilled onions and colby cheese fried in butter

L - ??? <---I see a problem here LOL

D - going out for Mexican < ---another problem here LOL

Enjoy the day all!

Oh yeah - no damage - I think they had a few building problems in the south, I'm way up by Lake Michigan. Very strange though - the dog was going nuts and we were literally rocking in the bed. It lasted about 10 seconds with a little afterwards. Kurt said - Is that an EARTHQUAKE??? Could actually feel the house moving (we are on the 2nd floor). We only live a block away from train tracks, and there was a train going by at the same time. At first we thought it was a heavy coal train thumping through, but realized we were really moving! LOL We're almost a state away from the site, so I can't imagine what it would have felt like being closer. Actually, it made me sort of sick LOL I'm VERY sensitive to motion sickness. Weirded me out - I had to go turn on the tv and see where it was. I remember feeling a very small one once when I was about 12/13 yrs. old...but not as strong as this. It's a strange feeling - hard to describe. I couldn't live somewhere where that happens a lot.
