Oh gosh..i know what you mean about colorado snow - we lived in Ft. Collins for a few years - much different weather than the midwest! We had to get used to the fact that it would snow 12 "..then the sun would come out and it would be gone the same evening LOL Though - even when it's cold, it's nice to have as much sunlight as you do! We've had a VERY rainy season here - the sunny days are far and few in between.

When the weather is decent, we do a lot of walking as well. Since we live rather centrally in our small town, we can easily walk/bike to anywhere we would like to go. Plus, saves on the gas used on town running Looking forward to that again.

Heading off for son's 4-H meeting - check back later!

*I'm hitting my "hungry" time of day. Seems like this is my weak point every day: mid afternoon.

My roast is NEVER going to be done in time for dinner *sigh* I should've put it on before I went to work. Crap. Looks like I'm going to have to be inventive with some ground round...in a hurry. hmmmm....

Rock on woman!! Nice when your clothes are baggy What sort of dinner theatre? DH and I love things like that!

Ended up with Pizza burgers (sans bun), garlic veggies and salad - good enough!
-burgers: mixed ground round with a bit of no sugar hunts italian spag. sauce, garlic powder, salt/pepper, italian seasoning and 1 egg. Made into patties and fried..topped with a spoonful more of the sauce and colby jack cheese. Not bad for a quick, put together meal LOL

Good AM

OOOH Toni, those burgers sound delicious! I just ended up having a salad from BK.

We are going to the Rainbow Theater in Lancaster. It is very nice-all comedies. The show we saw at Christmas was hilarious!! I bought tickets last year for my parents, and they raved about it, so now we go too The show tonight is called "Paris is out!". Here is the premise-
What a way to celebrate 50 years of marriage - a dream vacation! Unfortunately, Mrs. Brand dreams of Europe and Mr. Brand dreams of Pittsburgh. Children, grandchildren and the travel agent all try to smooth the waters, but it looks like stormy weather lies ahead. Come and enjoy this family comedy and find out if the Brands ever make it to Paris… or Pittsburgh… or if they can even make it to their 50th anniversary! Love is the ticket, and everyone eventually arrives at their proper destination: happiness!

I checked out the menu choices online and there are several options for me-I will skip the roasted potatoes and the five different desserts for sure!!

I just had some yogurt and Im off to do Callanetics. BBL...

Good Morning!!

Friday's my day off - what to do with it?? lol

B - 2 c. coffee w/splenda/half/half
- 2 scrambled eggs w/ham/cheese

L - chicken salad
- cheese "crackers"
- romaine salad

D - sirloin roast
- Broc. puree
- salad
(taken from yesterday - least I don't have to make dinner!)

Supposed to be a half way decent day today but VERY windy (45mph), possible rain (like we need any more of that!) Then of course, supposed to be cold tomorrow, just in time for soccer and baseball.

Better get off the puter before my butt gets any wider sitting here LOL

Have a good day all!

Good morning ladies.

So glad it's Friday. I'm very tired this morning. Can't wait to have that "jump out of bed" feeling in the morning again.

I'm supposed to go grocery shopping this morning and maybe meet a friend for coffee prior to shopping. We played phone tag yesterday.

I really believe the new medicine is working well for me. My pain yesterday was very minimal compared to normal. And, I did not eat a low fat diet. So, I'm hoping that this continues to help me out.

Lisa~the dinner theater sounds like so much fun. How far is Lancaster from you? It's a place I've wanted to visit.

Toni~enjoy your day off. We've stayed pretty chilly here, but DH heard we might get into the 70s tomorrow. I guess it will be a flood clean-up day around here. Still an incredible amount of work to be done.

Woo Hooooo!!! Glad the meds are working for you, Sue

Lancaster is no more than 1/2 hour from me. There is so much to see & do. The quaint Amish towns and shops, outlets, etc. My DS attends college there. Im so glad hes not too far-he comes home most weekends

I am really looking forward to tonight. DH and I need some time to ourselves!!!

Hey there ladies! TGIF! Afternoon time is my snack time too. I found these wasabi soy flavored almonds. I think they are awesome...seem to curb my munchies. They have chili lime, smokehouse and a few other flavors, too.
Lisa, I used to love to go to shows, except we never seem to have the time now. Last thing I saw was Diego and Dora. haha!
Sue I have the fun of grocery shopping today, too! What an exciting Friday!
Toni, I was just wondering what to do with the ground meat I took out this morning, good idea!
Hope to get in Tae boe today when Jace naps. Hope you all have a great weekend!!

Good morning ladies.

Is it Monday already? We had a good weekend at home. Saturday it was beautiful and we did some work around the yard/field, sat on the deck and watched the bald eagles and just relaxed. We haven't had warm temps like that for ages; it was over 80 degrees.

I've been on plan for 4 full days and the appetite suppression has kicked in. This medication has really eased the pain, and although I still have some cramping pain, it is nothing like it was before these meds. I'm so thankful to have found an answer to this.

Hope you all had a great weekend.

Sue, Glad to hear that your meds might be doing the trick.

Well I didn't do very well this weekend. I walked two miles on Saturday, but the wind was terrible. I didn't feel like going any further. Today is supposed to be an awesome sunny day with a high of 74. Can't believe it....is winter really over or is this a trick.
For some reason I have put on three pounds and I can't figure out why. It isn't that TOM, so I have no clue. I don't usually eat real bacon, do you think it is water weight?

Lisa, Jace keeps seeing the commercial for Backtardigans. It is his favorite. I just hope they come to Denver.

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend!!

Morning Stacey. I'll bet it's water weight. You have to eat A LOT of food to put on three real pounds. Glad you're having warmer weather. At least we had one really warm day. I see the sun peeking through right now, so hope it sticks.

Thanks for the input ladies. I was hoping that that was all it was. I am going to work out in about an hour, then I have to go to the store and pick up a few things on Base. I hate going there on payday. Since we all get paid on the same day, it seems we are all there at the same time. It is a mad house!! Here's to hoping it isn't to bad! Talk to you all in the AM!!

I'm here - a little crazy...but here I don't have time for indies but just wanted to say hi and glad to hear everyone is doing well. I've been on/off/on/off LC - what the heck...I'm a mess. Today: back ON and doing fine - but have to get dinner started before baseball practice starts! *sigh* I don't remember it being this hectic last year, or the 3 years before LOL I guess, the older they get, the more time this stuff takes.

B - 2 c. coffee w/half/half/sweetener
- leftover pot roast

L - Leftover pot roast again
- diet 7-up

(then went to the store LOL)

D - Meatballs w/red sauce & parm. cheese
- romaine salad w/ranch dressing

Crappy day of eating - hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Enjoy all!

Just had to share this quick story : I told the hubby that I feel all puffy in the tummy....he ran screaming form the room. I laughed and said what are you doin'? He said remember the last time you said that to me? I said no why? He said that is how we figured out you were pregnant with our son. That made me crack up! Sure hope it's just some water weight Talk to you all later!!

Good Morning!

Stacey - that's so funny about your husband I guess that's a natural reaction haha Great job on the exercise! Besides the occasional dog walk, I'm not being able to find time to do anything else right now. Hopefully that will change soon!

Sue - I'm REALLY glad the meds are making you feel better. FINALLY something! lol How's the clean-up going?

Lisa - good luck with all of your business! I'm glad to hear things are really flying for you

B- 2 c. coffee w/half/half/splenda
- 2 romaine rolls w/swiss, ham & mayo

L - Salad with cheese "crackers"
- 2 strawberries

D- Not sure yet - having a meeting at my house and everyone is supposed to bring a "finger food" so that will probably be my dinner. There will probably be lots of dips and stuff so I'd better be prepared with cheese "crackers."

My day is PACKED in today so I may not be back on until morning - much love!

Well I had to get up this morning at five to help the hubby find his brain....I mean his hat. Hahha. Doesn't it seem like the wife/mother is suppossed to know where to find everything :P I decided to just do my turbo sculpt workout. Today I increased my weights to 5lbs. Wow! Such a better work out. I think every muscle in my body is still shaking.
Well happy tuesday!! I'll probably check in laters!!

ladies!

Toni~ Dog walking counts And definitely have "crackers" and veggies handy to enjoy the dips!

Sue~ Youve been OP for almost a full week now Have you checked the scale? Ill bet you are firmly in the 170s again

Stacey~ 5 pound weights???? KUTGW!!!

I have now completed 11 hours of Callan and I may do TBS today. Food has been OK but not strict enough to see scale move. Once things settle down a bit I will be able to concentrate better. I have more work and a meeting at 6:30 so Ill try to check back later tonight. Have a great day all

Good afternoon ladies.

Lisa, I'm at 180.8 right now. Hope to be below 180 soon!

Stacey~my husband can't find anything. But I love him despite that.

Toni~enjoy your busy day.

I don't know what's wrong, doesn't seem to be the IBS, but may be appendicitis problems. The doc thinks I might have chronic appendicitis, and I'm in a lot of pain and nauseous. Just when I was starting to feel better.

I've been on plan for 5 days now.
