Yeah, don't be too concerned. I never try let one days weigh in upset me. I think there are a lot of factors that can cause minor fluctuation. Also, you have lost a lot of weight quickly, so some times the body starts to fight it. Wait a few days and see what happens. Maybe tomorrow you will be down 2 lbs.

Keep up the good work men. I had to refocus after eating poorly last week, so I am back on plan looking forward to a good loss this week.

Good morning,Men
Doug, glad you checked in and caught my greeting. Stay healthy. btw, hope your shoulder's 100% by now.
Adam, the book is getting to be like goal wt.:Elusive but always there - like an Elephant in the room. I like my Yoda avatar logo - keeps reminding me that excuses wear way thin after few years.
Fred, this is a link Stargrabber sent me about the demon "Scale". Hope it helps the mindset a bit.

Ken, looks like you are steady in the maintain lane.

Again, I'll look at the May check-ins.
See who all is still here and say howdy.

Welcome back Mack!

Wall, I'd deinitely consider losing fat stored from 1995 the VFZ! congrats

freddie, I certainly wouldn't sweat a pound. My weight soimetimes moves 2-3 pounds in one day. If I charted my daily weigh-ins, it would look like an EKG, though one that is hopefully trending downward.

Adam, the joys of being young. Enjoy your time.

Afternoon Everyone,

Mack good to here from you. Hope alls well.

Freddie its all part of the process your body is just making adjustments don't get discouraged.

I'm kinda sore today, went for a 3 mile run yesterday the took the dog for a walk last night then did a couple more miles at work. According to the new pedometer I have I did almost 16500 steps. Scale shows I lost 1 I just need to keep it going in that direction.

Going to be doing some bodyweight exercises today and interval training. I'll have to work through the stiffness.

Anyone heard from Randy? Better not be hanging out in the 19th hole, cause I heard the MPs will be taking a look.

Have a good day men and Eat Clean, Get Lean and become a Low Carb eating Machine.

Good morning, men.

Everything is still on cruise control, and the scale has been kind to me so far this week. I'm regularly getting in my 3 mile jogs now, and I'm considering adding some of the total body workouts that Ed and Ken ahve been doing. I haven't had any foot and/or back problems in 2008, so things are going pretty smoothly. My biggest deterant to adding anything is time, which in truth is a pretty poor excuse.

Welcome Dorskh! congrats on the first 20 lbs lost. As you know things will slow down, but as every member of Camp Charlie can attest, it works if you stick to it.

Ah-hoy Dorskh! You all said welcome so I had to throw in something different.....

Anywho, this week and been interesting to say the least. Im contemplating quiting my job and moving home, stressed out about the FAA and the letter that I still haven't received almost 2 full months later now.... At least the diet is going well.

I broke the 250 mark a day or so ago, and now I weigh less than when I graduated high school 4 years ago. Pretty excited about that. Only about 45 lbs to go till I hit goal, hopefully I can plow through it like I did the first 70.

Ain't that the truth.

Welcome to camp Dorskh great job on the -20

I had an easy day today, went to the cardiologist and everything looks good. Told him I'm still doing low carb and getting my workouts in 5-6 times a week. said to keep it up and I'll see you in 6 months. just what I wanted to here.
I did get a little walk in before work and I'll do a coulpe more miles tonight.

Going camping again this weekend and have chicken wings and BBQ pork chops on the menu possibly some un potato salad. I always have to give this recipe away after people try it.

Hey Guys...Harley Checking in.

I made it back to Washington DC late last night and I am at Dulles airport already this morning to start my journey back.

Eats have been good this week...I didn't get to do my normal excercise last night, but I did go out and walk around when I got to the hotel, so I go a little done. It was absolutely beautiful here yesterday.

Have a great weekend gents...I will try to check in sometime during the weekend.

Friday

been holding back 1.5 lbs for the last 3 days, its gotta be a backed up system, so that should sort itself out soon enough

well today my daughter has a PA day , and i asked her if she wants to learn the c25k thing, shes asked me the last 2 days, so we will give it a shot, i used to be a sprint runnner when i was her age so maybe this can be something she gets into, ill know in about an hour or so

gonna do my c25k run as well this morning, its supposed to rain this afternoon, so ill get that outta the way, other than that its a normal friday, im gonna try to eat clean today,

have a good weekend everyone, as Ed says lets get er done!!!

I wonder how much water weight can result from swelling around an injury?

I fell off the loading dock I work on yesterday, and im leg is all bruised and messed up. Hurts like none other, and im sure there is some swelling in there. Im sure there has to be, as I cant explain a 6 pound gain over night from anything else.....

Gentlemen,

I'm staying on track. So far I haven't worked out today, and as I am on my second scotch, I don't see it happening tonight (it was a rough day at work). I am going to have to punish (reward?) myself tomorrow with an extra long jog.

Alex, it's good to see you back on track. We seem to have been in the same funk for about the last year. Close to getting there, then falling apart.

CTi, I hope you get better quick. There's nothing like an injury to cause me to fall off plan temporarily.

Wall, I think that's me you're talking to in that mirror, too!

Friday nite

CTI take it easy, hope ya get better soon

ate really clean today like induction levels even, including the Peak Freans no sugar added cookies my wife picked up for me, they are kinda really small with a really small center, and well again really small amount of stuff between the cookies, i did enjoy 2 of them though, total carbs each was 5.5.

the daughter and i ended up going to the track today, i did my c25k run while she played on the monkey bars, then we both did week 1 first day for her, shes just like her mother, complain complain complain, but i think she liked it and we will try again tomorrow,

a couple bike rides before the rain, i had to skip my p90 for today, we ended up going for the opening day of Canada's Wonderland, theyve got this new ride called Behemoth, not sure if its the biggest in Canada or North America, looked huge to me though, we didnt get on it due to having the kids and all with us

they had all the concession stands open, Tiny Tom Donuts, Dairy Queen, Funnel Cakes with strawberries, etc etc etc, i wasnt really hungry since we ate on the way there, so it was no biggie cause the prices were freaking insane, thats my best defense against eating crap, raise the prices and my stomach and urges can goto hell!!!! i'm more cheap that hungry thats for sure!!

wall, when Randy's not checking in, it may mean trouble

We've got a few of the old guard MIA: Randy, grp, and Pete. Not to mention some new recruits like Phil who haven't checked in for a while. We don't have enough MPs at this rate. Gentlemen, checkin ASAP!
