as for me the eats are doing great , i was a little down on the scale this morning , should be a good weigh in for me tomorrow, last nite the wife and i did our p90 cardio workout with the abs, they really suck, but do seem to be working, and i jumped on the bike for a 1/2 hour after just to get a little bonus, its a day off from p90,. but i may ride the bike when i get home, i wanted to ask a question if i havent already, this is gonna sound weird probably but when i exercise (cardio) i sometimes feel like im gonna vomit, now ive tried to make a point of not eating anywhere before i do, like i find when i first wake up is the best time to go for a run - no cramps, no vomit feeling, i havent actually blown chunks yet, but i feel it wanting to come out, i googled it and it says it can happen if you work out too strenuously, i dont think this is my problem, could just be not waiting long enough after eating i think and sorry if any ladies come in here today, just wanted to ask this

That made me laugh. Sorry, I don't know what could be causing that to happen.
Well, I am having a crappy week. I have been exercising, but my diet stinks. Monday weigh in is going to be ugly for me. Welcome Phil. |

Ken: I've only had that problem when I really push it. And it sounds like the p90 is pretty intense. I know that on nights I go to Tae Soo Do I don't eat for a good two hours before hand. Otherwise it kills me.
Hope every one is enjoying the weekend. It looks like we're actually getting some spring weather here in Wisconsin, So I'm going to go get in a little Frisbee Golf. Cheers, |

It's been a busy day for me. I went out to try to find turkey this morning. My season opens on Wednesday. I just might have to take some time off of work. I got home and started to scrap my 81 Bronco. I've got the carb, intake and tires sold. Now I have to sell the rest of it. warriorscholar...Thanks for the welcome. 20 given! Not quite so Big D...Thanks. Smoked pork shoulder sounds good! oobatooba...Thanks. Hope the rest of your weekend is better. Weekends suck for me too, eating wise that is. I'm headed back outside! The temp is pushing 70* here today and the sun is shining. Sure beats overcast and rain!

3 161.2 10 157.2 17 160 24 159.2 31 159.2 April 7 158.4 14 158.8 21 154.8 - yep a 4 lb loss since last monday, awesome thing is i feel it completely!!! now i thought id have a loss last week, so some of this must be left over from last week well theres no way i can lose 10 for the months challenge, but i am completely happy with this, so if i ,keep this off , in my mind i havent lost the challenge also, im moving my upper limit from 160 to maintain at under 155, its a bold move for me since the lowest i have ever , ever seen on a scale is around 154, maybe 153, but im gonna do it!! i see a leaner summer for me check in later , good luck at the weigh in guys! |

It's not looking good for 10 lbs this month, but I can't ask for much more than a pound a week at this stage. Good work ot the big losers, Adam, Ken, and Freddie. Ooba, even though you had a "bad" week you still dropped 1.5 lbs. Almost half way to goal! |

Hey there fellow Campers,
Well nothing lost here, 4/17/08-203 4/21/08-203.2 actually a .2 gain and I took some measurements to see if there was any change there and there is a slight change. Chest from 42.75" to 43.5" gut stayed the same @ 40.5" and my quads went from 24" to 24.25" So things are changing just not as fast as I would like. I should have stayed away from the beer this weekend but there were steamers and mussels that needed to be consumed and well I can't have one without the other. Great job Freddie excellent job. Ken you is going to be buffed by summer time. oobatoba, Adam and big D great job on the losses keep it up. Alex we need to get our asses in gear. Phill welcome to camp. Post often to keep yourself accountable. Don't forget to pass the turkey after you bag some. Ed out

1-20-2008: 315
4-14-2008: 256 4-21-2008:250 VFZ: 253 This week loss: -6 Total Loss: 65lbs Average lbs lost per day: .71 (65lbs/92days) I really have no idea why or how, especially considering this week..... It was my friends 21st, I ate 1/2 a medium pizza, I had ice cream floats, and due to a horrible muscle spasm, I didn't go to the gym all week. By all regards, I should have gained 10lbs. However on the bright side I did lose 6 pounds, I now am into my VFZ, and am over half way to my final goal. Add to that, crossing the 251 mark means I hit the 10lb April challenge, as it looks like if I can drop 1 pound in the next week, I'll have met my own goal of under 250 by my birthday. Good job guys on all the losses, some impressive stuff going on in here!

I am not really sure exactly what it means, but I have heard it is an acronym for the lowest weight you were able to achieve in the past. So, if you get below your VFZ, you will be the lowest you ever weighed as an adult. I'm not 100% sure though.

Hey Guys,
I'm back on induction for a while. I need to get going in the right direction again. VFZ was coined by Randy it stands for Virgin Fat Zone. At that point you are no longer losing weight you have lost and gained before. Great days everyone! |

VFZ is virgin fat zone. It's the point where you get to the fat you've never lost before. Most of us have lost and gained and lost and gained, so the VFZ is the lowest we've gotten on the rollercoaster.
I'm still on track with another small loss on the scale for me. |

Hey guys,
First time I looked at a few posts in a while - Doug retiring? Best wishes, Buddy. Enjoy life. Stay active. You gave Lardbelly a good fight. Sarge salutes you. Let's trade email addys and share photos now and then... Briefly, I see that Ed is staying around 200 and doing workouts- great work. I will try to review more posts for May thread to be fair to others. Stargrabber and 24 Fan have been good off-camp Coast-to-coast supporters. Star's avatar is with a American Gladiator. Me? don't ask... but presently on track again. Welcome Newbies to Camp... You've heard of Death before Dishonor.. one of Charlie's mottos is Goal before Death. (leave a great looking corpse...later rather than sooner) Lend me those binoculars, Alex... I want to peek over at the SNARK'S camp while I'm here..... okay, See you guys later... -Mack out

confused yet, i had to read it back twice! as for me, did another Sweat/Abs day of P90, we are going to include the Abs one in each day instead of every other one, i can feel something under my flab happening so thats got me pumped, did day 1 of week 6 of c25k tonite, then for the cool down i went for a bike ride with my daughter, first time we ever rode bikes together, for sure do some more of that! weighed in up a couple ticks today, but i did have some a chicken sandwich last nite for dinner with a regular high carb bun, after that i decided to jump another 40 mins on the bike to minimize side effects. got 2 working days ahead of me then i took a week off for no other reason than to use up my holidays, not sure what ill be doing, getting back to the reno's i assume, just finished packing my lunch for tomorrow, so the eats will be good Mack, good to see you back around these parts!!! |
