Late check in,

Been real busy around here. Nice weather trying to get the yard cleaned up. Going to take the camper out and park it at a local campground till the middle of May, so we have to get that all loaded up and ready to go. Kids have this week off so there wanting to do everything. On another note DW and I have walked about 1.5 miles the past 2 nights which is a little bonus exercise.

Ken no speedo for me. But I do have a backup if needed.

Heres something you guys working out and not losing might like to read .

Hey guys

Looks like most of you are doing great.

I have decided that I am going to retire from Camp Charlie and quit worrying about trying to lose. I am turning 65 and retiring from work in about 2 months and there are certain things in my life I'm not ready to give up. I lost my initial weight about 9 years ago and have bounced between 200-210 since then. As long as I stay eating clean and don't start gaining I'll be a happy camper. I can honestly say I feel better at 64 than I did at 50.

Keep up the good work guys and I'll probably still pop in here once in a while just to give ya'll a hard time and a kick in the a$$.

Doug

Checking in. Nothing really new to report, just staying on plan.

Doug- Good luck. Sounds like you have a great attitude to be happy and healthy.

Ken- Your an animal. With a schedule like your, you have great determination to stay on plan. I have worked both day shift and night shift, but never switched back and forth between them. Keep up the good work, but remember to give your self a break every now and then.

Good luck guys.

Doug - You have been probably the most consistent maintainer around. Not only that you are always positive and have had a great attitude. I know that I will miss having you around. Stop in from time to time and let us know how you are doing.

Enjoy!

Well I have a small announcement. As of this morning I am now down a total of 63 pounds, which is half way to my final goal. As for my 10lb April challenge I think I'm about a pound away.

yeah Ed, im gonna leave the c25k till next monday, itll actually give the local track time to dry up more too,

went today and picked up another pair of runners , Reebok had a friends and family sale with an extra 40% off, it being the Reebok outlet and all, i gotta wicked pair of shoes for about $48, i checked online and dicks has the same ones for $119, so im sending the wife there after dinner to pick up some for herself

did my power 90 sculpt exercise today and then since i had time i threw in a bonus cardio exercise for the one i missed yesterday, i feel like a bag of very tired potatoes right now, but its a good tired,

Ed, i also liked that link to the paper towel analogy, i thought it was something i could use and my wife so i printed it up to remember it

well heading out soon to finish that ladies tiles around the backsplash of the vanity, shouldnt take me too long im hoping, would be nice to be home to watch a movie with the wife later

Hey Guys...Harley Checking in.

I finally got my laptop back. My IT guys worked on it for 2 full days, but ultimately had no luck. They ended up shredding the hard drive and resetting the ROM. It was a bad one, but they were able to save most of my work...and the rest is backed up back at my office, so no big loss.

Eating has gone pretty well. I ended up eating at a Mexican place last night with a couple of customers. I had mostly meat and veggies and was able to stay away from the chips and salsa. I used the Keto Sticks after the meal, but they said I was out of Ketosis...maybe there was some sugar in the dish, but I still think I am ok. I head home tomorrow evening and will be in the office on Friday.

Take Care guys!

Harley Out!

Ok guys...
I talked about the egg creams last week, and want to let you know about the freakin BEST treat I have EVER had on LC. This is VERY LC, and man is it good.....
1 jumbo egg
4 tablespoon heavy cream
1 packet splenda
2 premade s/f jello cups
little crushed ice

Put it all in a blender, and mix. This honestly was AWESOME it tasted like a Creamsicle, and had the consistancy of custard and yogurt... This is DEFINATELY going to be my new evening treat!!!

No kidding, im hooked on these things. I've been making one or two a day to replace meals. Especially now that I'm kinda in a money crunch, they are a cheap way as well to stay on track.

Things are going good here. A pleasant 1.5 lb drop on the scale this morning. Hopefully it holds until monday!

Wall, I agree with you Harley and eating out. Everytime I get into trouble, it's from eating out or travelling. If I just stayed home all the time, I'd probably weigh about 180 by now. If I travelled like Harley, I'd probably be about 280!

Freddie, sounds good. I'll have to give it a shot.

Hey everyone,

Today it gorgeous outside 70 and sunny. The way they should all be. Anyway I'm going to go run outside today and get my ****** moving on down the street and hopefully loosen some things up.

Freddie I'm going to give the jello a try after the run. Got some orange in the fridge. I made one with orange diet soda yesterday. It was good but I didn't care for the fizz for breakfast.

Later guys Ed out

Back again,

It felt good to ruin outside again. I had to slow my pace down I was going way to fast. I got around 2 miles in though.

Freddie I did the jello egg cream. Wow, that is good. That will be a keeper for sure. Looking forward to trying different flavors. Oh and I used stevia instead of the splenda.

Going to pull the camper out tomorrow so I will be MIA till Sunday night. Going to try and keep the beer consumption to a minimum. Going to be tough but I will en dour.

Doug: Its been real nice having you around this place. You'll have to drop in often.

CTI: congrats on the 63 man.

Things are still going well. I'm thinking of trying one of those egg creams. I'll just have to buy a coffee maker.

Stay strong this weekend Men,

Hey Guys...Harley Checking in.

Not much to report...eats are going well....excercising is going well.

Yeah, eating out is a bit more difficult than eating at home, but very manageable. I usually have a salad at lunch and try to stick to meat and broccili for dinner. Breakfast is easy (eggs and bacon).

Have a great weekend guys!

Big D checking in!

Not much to report, which is usually a good thing. Got a dangerous weekend ahead as I am eating out tonight, charity fundraiser dinner tomorrow, and dinner at the inlaws on Sunday.

Have a good weekend!

Carbohydrates 130 g/day
Protein 56 g/day
Fat 20–35% of calories
Added sugar No more than 25% of calories

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd share some "helpful" tips I found online. Of course, with these numbers you'd only get from 930 to 1145 calories per day. And 230 to 286 of those calories from added sugar. Thats between 57.5 grams and 71.5 grams of pure sugar. Thats 44 to 55 percent of carbohydrate intake. This wouldn't bother me so much but these are the Governments recommendations for males 19 to 30 years old. Its just crazy.

Sheesh,
