Evening Everyone,

Well no pics on the Jambalaya but it was good, I have the last of it for lunch tonight.

Thanks for dropping in ladies. Hope camp wasn't to much of a pig sty. Hopefully Shiner wasn't running around in his speedo LOL.

My DW came home with the new scale physician's scale or doctor's scale. It measures to the tenth of a lb.. I wanted to jump on it before I came to work with all the same work attire I wear to check it against the one we have at work but nope, I didn't. So I'll try to remember tommorrow.

I notice a lot of guys here are from cold parts of North America. I live in North Carolina, so it is already getting warm (mid 70's). But, the down side is a long humid summer. By June I am normally wishing for fall to come.

Highest ever - 265
VFZ - 186 (4/05)

The numbers speak for themselves. I'm struggling to stay on track right now. I'm still getting in exercise, but my eating has been sporadic. I was clean yesterday, and I'm really going to try to get it back together this week. I need another 3 month cheat free stretch. Otherwise, I might have some swimwear shopping ahead of me. Trust me, no one wants to see that!

For all of you snow monkeys, it's a beautiful 85 degree forecast here. Today's calendar includes 18. It seems golf tournament season has officially started. My firm sponsors lots of golf tournaments, and as one of the few golfers, it seems that I play in all of them. Today is the first time I've played since injuring my back, so wish me luck! My wife is worried, but I'm not. I've strengthened my core a lot since then, so I think I'll be OK.

Impressive numbers so far for everyone (but me).

Ed, i wouldnt get too worked up just yet, the new scale may weigh a bit heavier than the old one, i know when i goto my moms house i weigh at least 5lbs heavier, and theres no way i coulda gained 5lbs in an hour drive with no eating. the only thing thats a shame is you weighed in with the old scale, so looks like yer gonna be wearin a speedo at the end of the month, cause now you got an extra 4+ lbs to get off, if i were you id go get the old scale outta the garbage!!!! Ed in a speedo, cant wait!!

we made the pizza quiche tonite, it was good, i wasnt ga-ga over it, the kids seemed to like it, and the wife said it was pretty good, i used a pie pan instead of a cake pan, next time i'd stick to the cake pan, and the wife said some ham cut up in the egg part woulda give it a bit less egg consistency and more chew to it, i had to agree

went out today and got some absorbine jr for the sore muscles, seems to be working pretty good, and it aint too exepnsive, if its good enough for horses, hell its good enough for me

Hey guys,

So its been like 30 days since I've posted. I'd like to say that I held the line or some such. Truth is I went AWOL with a vengeance. About a week and a half ago I ended the insanity and buckled back down. I dropped off the easy weight and now I'm back to give it another go. This time is for keeps.

To the new guys: Welcome.

To the old guys: Its nice to see y'all again.

To whoever came up with the Speedo idea: What the heck is wrong with you?

Cheers,

Harley Checking in (Finally)!

Well....it's official...this virus in my computer has brought me to my knees. I like to think I know a lot about computers, but this one has me beat. I grabbed my old laptop from my office before I headed to Tampa (Pinellas County) this morning. I am planning on formatting my hard drive and being done with it.

Monday Weigh in.
Highest weight ever: 302
1-1-08 279.5
4-7-08 252
Weight Loss this week: 0
Weight Loss in 2008: 27.5
Goal: 210
Mini Goal: 242 by 4/30/08

All I have to say is that I'd better get my speedo out and start getting it stretched out!!!
I have eaten completely on plan, and excercised as usual, but no loss. I have been pertaking in some cocktails as of late, but nothing out of the ordinary. If I have to post that picture, you guys will never be the same.....you may have to go through some mental evaluations just to get back to a semblance of normalicy (trust me....you will never be the same after seeing me in a speedo). To save you the trama...I pledge to lose at least 3 lbs this week.

Harley Out!

Total Loss: 56lbs

I was pretty sure I hadnt lost anything at all this week, as I hadnt seen the scale budge, but low and behold, another 2 lbs gone. I think I'm going to try to stick to bacon/eggs for a day or so to jump start me back in.

So thanks to warriorscholar, apparently I cant do math. I was dividing my pounds/day in the wrong order giving a weird number. I always thought it looked fishy but couldn't put my finger on it. The correct number should be: .718 pounds per day. Remember, I went to public school....

Harley, I feel your pain with computer virus. I've had one before and it was truly one of the most frustrating thing to deal with. I think I messed with it for weeks, wanted to beat the thing with my fist several times.

Every one, Great job this week. Keep up the hard work.

Harley, I went through that virus routine on the home laptop a couple weeks ago, didn't have to reformat though.

Adam, good to see you back, I won't say more, you know what you need to do.

To the losers, WTG!!

At the rate most of are going maybe we all will be wearing speedos. We will have to do a group speedo shot. I'm sure the admins would shut us down if we did. LOL

tuesday

well i was expecting a loss this morning, instead i got a 1/2 lb jump,

and theres no way i coulda went up at all, we ate super clean yesterday, exercised, and i slept a full nite , so i am befuddled,

this same thing has been happening to my wife for the last week and i thought it was funny, everyday she'd exercise, eat well and she gained 3 lbs over the last week, i dont think its funny anymore!!

i may have to look into a new scale if this thing is going wonky, gonna give it a few more days to even out

Adam, glad to see you back, get yer head in the game and lets go! Did you happen to see GRPsurfer or Pete while you were out there? or KTMGM? Anyhow good on you for coming back.

Ok guys, I have been trying to come up with a daily workout routine. What keeps coming to mind is that I was in the best shape of my life when in the Army. So I found a routine that is dedicated to soldierts trying to improve on their PT test scores... think i am gonna try this for a while and see where it takes me, hopefully no back to Iraq lol
