conbofan9 have you tried the Jergens express lotion with tanners. It works like a charm and it looks real. It goes on like a body lotion and it takes about 2 days for a tan. I even use it on my face and it looks real.

Soccer tournaments on the weekend and I might cave on Saturday with Voddie. NO more wine for me. It was not pretty the last 2 weeks. It took me all week to recover from that.

.......walks in, peeks....confesses to be having a diet coke 'n rum right now......kinda pizzzzed DH is coming home late AGAIN! its friday darn it and its nice outside! i NEVER have a cocktail alone, but i am kinda lonely and tired of being home alone ALL THE TIME! so there, having the drink and its OK..no guilt! off to grill the angus burgers for the boys...he can eat socks when he getshome!

Nat~Ruh-roh...DH is in the doggie house and is going to be eating dirty socks when he gets home.
I'd also be having a libation or 2 myself if that happened to me. BTW...Diet Cuba Libre is one of my favorite warm weather libations.

I felt like having a beer or a D-Cuba today, but, refrained. It's so easy to want to Apres ski after skiing. Esp. on a warm Spring day. I got really close.
So...another NO today.

well DH did sleep in the dog house! he came hoome at 8:30 and with a pizza!! they had a curling/pizza party at work, and had sveral pizzas too many..had a raffle andhe shows up with one! i was pizzzed and had that cuba earlier so guess what? yup! pizza down the hatch!! arg...and it wasnt even good! i hate anger eating!

ok, today is another day! its all good though, cause i decided that i am maintaning at this point, so 1 cheat will all be gone in 2 days. i am no longer obsessing about the un-flatness of my stomache, cause its just my mommy proof! there ! as for the tanned legs.....well, never got to trying it out!...and funny you picked that song cause its DH'smotto for me! whenever i dress in shorts or skirts, he sings that to me!! i am 5'6.5", but am short when i sit...i am all legs and no body! so you kinda made me laugh! thanks, it was needed last night!

ok off to get winter tires off HIS car! yeah, why am I going??? cause he is going to get the pool started...

My darling 3 year old niece was diagnosed with autism yesterday. It was a bad night - lots of time on the phone with mother in law and before I knew it the bottle was gone.

The bright side? down 2.5 pounds. the bad side I'm sure as soon as I drink my 50 glasses of water today I'll swell right back up . BUT it is a nice little victory to see numbers on the scale I have seen for so long - even if it is only temporary and AMAZINGLY I'm still in Ketosis!

Nat~Bummer....on the Buzzed anger eating. Kewl...on DH's motto. So, he's a Leg guy...so is mine.
Mommy proof... That's one of the first places I gain weight.
That's a good trade-off. I get my snows off Mon. while I'm getting a pedicure. It's a short walk in-between shops.

Cinder~Sorry to hear that about your niece. I have an autistic nephew. She will be a challenge. But...they can get lots of help for her and she can eventually learn to cope/live in the real world. Well, dependent on the severity of the autism.

I can see how a bottle can go down when one is on the phone w/distressing news. Been there...done that.

Yesterday i had a couple of beers over at my mom and dad's. Ate potatoes with dinner and I"m still in Mild Ketosis - I must have been really deep to start or I need new stix!!

My fun is over and I'm back to being good for the week. No big plans or stressful events coming up so should be a Piece of STEAK behaving all week!!

OK i posted this in my other challange thread, but will repost here cause i know Pat was going to the garage this morning!!!

Ever been so upset/scared you didnt know whether to throw something out of anger or cry????!!!! well, got my winter tires changed this weekend...guy told me front breaks needed to be done. OK i said..since this place doesnt do them! so dont use the truck friday nor saturday only yesterday to go to the corner store...and i hear a banging. freaky! figured the breaks finally gone and its knocking right??? so, little DS popped a brace yesterday and had to make an emergency appt for him today. remember, its about a 25 min drive and i need to take the highway....so, i go to a garage this morning for the breaks, first place says no room until thursday, next place not till wednesday! arg, i say out loud! guy asks me whats wrong they are screetching??? no, knocking i say...?? guy says breaks dont knock!!... mechanic is standing there and asks..." it knocks as you roll and stops when you apply the breaks?? yes i say..." did you change your winter tires lately?? ok, whats up i ask? guy says come outside with me.... MY TWO FRONT TIRES WERE NOT BOLTED ON PROPERLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One bolt was actually about to fall off! OMG!!! i was angry, but then i teared up thinking what could have happened to me and DS on the highway going 120km!! then, i got lucky and someone cancelled, so he was able to change my breaks after all!! i just still cannot believe i was about to take an appt for thursday, then go get little ds at 10:00 to go to the ortho! i cant even imagine what happens losing a tire at that speed!!! i am soooo angry that i havent been able to call the asshats yet!


OK, had that 2.5carb beer yesterday, sleeman's clear, OMG! not sure if its cause it was soooo hot outside, or cause i havent had a beer in 2 yrs, but it was goooooooooood!!!.... then i had another diet cuba libre last night too...but back on the bus and bad-azz TOM is sitting next to me! I HATE HIM!!!!

Blondie~Pretty shells in your Avi. Is one supposed to be you and the other DH?
If you want to make shell jewelry, you will need to drill small holes into the shells and silk cord them up. Or...glue gun, to glue them on to cord or other things.

Speaking of jewelry making... I have a few beading gifts to make before we leave Fri. to New Hampshire. DH wants me to make his niece something and something for his Sis's BD.

Well, another NO and today the scale is my friend.
Very windy here today. Thinking about walking outdoors but, I may end up in Kansas or on Blondie's door step.
I may have to wear small sunglass goggles. I don't want anything blowing in my eyes and giving me a corneal abrasion. U/K?

Pat - got a glue gun so we should be able to get going on something with the shells! LOL on the shells being DH and me!!! Naw, we just collect shells all the time and I take pictures to send to my Mom, especially when we find ones that are different from the ones she collected while she was here. Interesting how you find different shells at different beaches. And defferent shells at the same beach in different sesasons!

For those not in the know, he's Woody Guthrie's son and actually lives near me in Sebastian. I have had his album called Running Down the Road since the mid 70's. Me likey that folk/rock music! You can google his name and the site that has his songs (almost full versions) is CDBaby. Check out the track called Coming in to Los Angeles on the Running Down the Road CD. Way cool!!

eeek!! hope you are feeling better now!! so, you popping the Synthroid too now? those little white pills are a pita to remember at first but a life saver. hope you are on the road to recovery!!!

we are going with 2 other couples...just a little weekend away. june 30th we go to Nashua NH for 3 days with the boys...check out the radisson in Nashua..looks like a castle and the kids oooooed and aaaaahed about it, so we booked for 3 nights... hey,tell the bride to postpone the wedding a few weeks...we could hook up!

ok, first i thought you were gonna say to got the glue gun to glue our butts on this bus!!!!.....postal you say?? at the first garage when he showed me the bolts....i froze then teared up...took a while for me to get angry i was so scared!!! by the time afternoon came and i called them.... i wouldnt call it postal-i think i got UPSed!!!!
and what is the hurry for the new thread? pat too is asking...ladies! APRIL HAS 30 DAYS!! not 29... so may 1st is tamorow...
