Sharon - Yeah, I find the older I get the less I care to FIGHT all the time. Sometimes it just makes better sence to shrug it off.

DD started final exams today. End of next week is her last day of school! Then in July she will be off to the States for college!!!! and . I'm gonna miss her like crazy but I really want her to get her education and make a good life for herself. Her poor Dad just has no idea what he's getting himself into - insisting she lives with him!!!!!!!

oh blondie.....losing your DD for a while, I am sure she and you will both be OK though. i thank god that 99% of people from montreal do not leave for college. we have some good ones here, so I know when my boys will be old enough they will still be home...then I and only I will decide when they move out!

OK definitely going to get off the bus this weekend! just did my taxes and we are getting $$ back!! wooohoooo!!!! first time ever! guess me not working and those braces helped out after all...and its going to be super hot friday, so i already told DH to come home early friday for a happy hour on the deck. and NO SOCCER for him! aint gonna ruin another one for me!

off for my walk now! then gotta pick up DS from school...he forgot his buspass at home! was lucky the driver let him on this morning, but wont chance it for this afternoon!

yo pat.....want a tax refund?? get some braces! its about the only thing i can think of that saved us this year...that and we are now allowed to claim up to $500 per kid for sporting events...that came in handy. i cant wait to see what a CHEQUE from the govt looks like! do they use normal cheques?? i told DH once that sucker comes in I am gonna photocopy it and frame it! it really is a rare entity. now i am just hoping i didnt mess up! first time using an online software! oh well, if i suddenly disappear from this board, i have been taken away and jailed for fraud and messing up a taxe return...

Costs ALOT PAT! Usually when I order something from thre internet the stupid postage costs more than what I ordered! DD will coming back here every six months to keep her residence valid. We can't go there because psycho ex won't give me the kids passports. He hasn't even been to visit them, no hasn't even called them on the phone for like 3 years but everytime I say I want their passports so I can go visit my family he starts whining about how I'm gonna RUN AWAY with them. Last time I asked him if he would even notice if I really did that!!!!!!!! IDIOT!!!!!

Yeah, that's a whole nother story! I go to the US EMBASSY and tell them I'm divorced and ex stole the kids passports from my house and I want new ones. Mind you, this is the SAME US EMBASSY that issued the original passports AND US Citizen Born Abroad birth certificates. They tell me I have to go have my divorce papers translated. I do it. Costs me $100. Go back to the embassy. They tell me it says in the translation that I have SOLE CUSTODY but the original Arabic doesn't say SOLE it only says custody. I said Oh, you have someone who reads and understands Arabic? They say Yes. I say then WTH did I have to spend $100 to get the damn papers translated! Anyway they say I can't get the passports replaced without ex's signature. I say he's the one who stole themin the first place. After going around in that circle for an hour I finally said fine, just give me visas for my kids so we can travel. Oh, we can't give them visas, they are US Citizens!!!! Then give me the damn passports!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR. I finally decided to just give up!

Well, today would have been my Mom's 87th BD...but, well, we all know she passed away 1-1. So, I basically had a day of memories and such.
I'm tired.
I got off the bus today.
I'm having a glass of Cabernet in one of my favorite crystal glasses.
Tomorrow is a new start of No'in and cutting out the Junk food.
I'm going to NO for 2 wks and eat clean.
We're going to a wedding in New Hampshire on the 4th. I will prolly get kicked off the bus for a few glasses of Cham-pain! LOL! No cake for me. I'm a pie peep.

So, that is the plan.

Requesting my transfer early friends. Off the bus both friday and saturday, but typically am safe in my seat on Sundays. I don't have plans that including any alcohol until Thursday. That is when I need my tranfer...thurs-Sunday. Will be drinking enough for the whole bus...hahahaha

Blondie, so sorry for your struggles. Its stuff like that in a divorce that keeps that frustration so high. I vowed when I divorced I was going to try and act in the most adult way. There were many ways I could have dug the screws into my ex, but I kept saying...take the high road. So 4 years later, I'm glad I did...he did some dumb stuff and in the end, he's going to be hurt...by his own hand, not by mine. I think your ex's due will come..I am sorry though, mostly for the kids..that's who got hurt by his ahole move..you know?

Rbenz: welcome back...you certainly needed to salute the memory of your mom in whatever manner needed. I know when that time comes with my Mom, I'll have to find a way to drink some Walker Red, straight up. ICK...but that is how I could best honor my Mom!

Flying into Cancun. I couldn't do the Cozumel then the ferry. I understand the waters between Coz and Playa are wicked. I have huge motion issues.

I have one friend flying in from Dallas..he gets in first. Then Sarah and I land about 45 minutes later, then the last couple gets in 45 minutes after that. I have a private van all set to pick us up and drop us at the hotel. (I asked for beers to be on ice..we'll see if we get that or not )

I only have (really) 3 nights and 2 days..how much trouble can I get into???

My ex-issues are so old. The man will never grow up. When and if he decides he wants a relationship with his children I won't stand in his way. In fact, I pray for that day. I'm just afraid that when (if) that day comes, it will be too late - the kids won't want anything to do with him!

DH is having big EX drama at the moment. He has been divorced about 4 years and has a 10yo ds. In all the time I have know him I have NEVER known him to take a woman around when he went to visit his ds or pick him up and take him somewhere. He ALWAYS pays his child support (he gives her MORE for 1 kid than I get for 4!) as soon as he gets his salary. But now that we are married he decided it was time for his son to meet us. So we went to pick him up for lunch. He comes out to the car and won't get in. Dh asks why and he says "Mama said if there are other people in the car, I'm not to go!" DH tells him "get in, I'll talk to your mom later!" Poor boy starts crying and says please call her now. So DH calls ex and asks her what her problem is. She says "I don't want him around one of your *****es!" Where did that come from? He has NEVER taken a woman around that boy!!! He tells her he doesn't have any *****es and he is with his WIFE and her kids. She says "NO, I don't want!" He tells her she doesn't have to the RIGHT to want or not want! The boy is HIS son and he will do what he feels is best!. So the boy goes with us, has a good time. Unfortunately, we know as soon as soon as we dropped him interrogated the poor boy. Next day she is sending DH texts tellilng him how SELFISH he is because he brought his wife and kids instead spending time ONE-ON-ONE with his son! According to her all the boys sees is that Daddy left me ((not true, she demanded a divorce and kicked him out!) Daddy never wanted me! (yeah right!) And now Daddy has replaced me with other kids! I cannot believe this woman! I just pray that she is not telling this poor boy this nonsense!
