Beautiful smile Blondie, so cute!!!! And I thought you'd like to know that it is snowing pretty good again today, feels like the middle of January!

Getting off the bus tomorrow, a bunch of moms are going out for happy hour. I'm going to stick to dirty vodka martini. Love those things and they don't go down as quick as beer does. I am going to stay away from the wine for awhile though, tired of being tired the next day even when I just have one glass. I'm still sticking to my Fri and/or Sat nights only though!

Went for a bike ride earlier and skeered the chit outta myself. Almost fell twice in the mud and then a mud clot shot off my front tire hit me in the face. i was a shakin....
Caught up w/DH and told him I was shakin. He didn't believe me until i tried to drink some bottle water and he visibly saw me shaking so much that i missed my mouth. What a visual...HuH?
All over it now. And...all showered up.

I feel like having a tropical libation of sorts. I think i will make myself a low carby one later. That's a Maybe....

Noisy in the Hood today. Cement machine on next door, neighbor just finished mowing and weeding and a house is building up the street. Bummer!!!
OH...Pig ain't liking that cement machine noise, he's been squealing all morning.

It really wasnt so bad going with out last week, then I re introduced it bc I had all this company and we were going out, yadda yadda, well, I need to and WILL kick it back out to the curb as of Sunday. Have TWO social engagements, one Friday and on Saturday so I will be imbibing then. Have a nice weekend ladies, I will be STRAPPED in on Sunday night.

welcome friends...I see all has been well...the doors of the bus seem to be revolving for some of us.

Work trip went okay until my flight was delayed leaving Toledo, so missed my connection at O'Hare to Mpls. I was calm about the whole thing, not much I can do. I realized that I only could control myself, so I was cool. Got off the plane, grabbed a courtsey phone and AA was able to get me on a 9:25 to Mpls. That left me 2 hours in O'Hare. Went and had a dinner on plan and 2 glasses of my pink cheap a$$ wine. It came in a wine glass and everything. I did put a few cubes in there just to cool it down some. Otherwise, have stayed on the bus. But boy, did those 2 glasses hit me. Slept/dozed the 90 mintues to Mpls...was sleepy

No plans for Sat. Went and rented some movies. DD is going to sleep at another friends house tonight, so will be home alone. Still feel dragging from all the travel. I may have a chit chat with the Captain tonight, who knows.

Blondie..congrats on the toofers. What a great week or so for you

Lynn: hope you enjoyed HH with the brownie troop...I can remember those days. Nothing like a bunch of Mom's letting loose!!!! hope you had fun.

I remember when beading was popular in the 70's! Now you are the 2nd person that I know that is doing it. I was given a bracelet by my friend that does it.

Sharon - Welcome home! Been hearing about all the flight cancellations in the USA!!! We're not affected because the problem is with MD aircraft. We only have Boeing and Airbus. Glad the pink iced wine helped you nap!!!

Pat - I love beading. A few years back all my dd's got huge bead sets and we made jewelry and key chains and I walked around with beads braided into my hair (compliments of youngest dd). Only yucky days when we have to stay inside we like to bring them out and make stuff!

Nat - How's the nursing going? Hope dh is better.

Lynn - I would definitely take advantage of one more snow boarding trip!!

Seems to be kind of quiet on LC Friends today....spring fever or spring cleaning. Definitely no cleaning happening here, but it's beautiful outside! Mid 70's! I tried to work outside but I can't seem to sit in the right spot to get the glare off the lap top.
