Howdy on the bus off the bus FFFs!
Raining here again today. But...no Cane burning.

We lost power yesterday for 4.5hrs. A transformer @ a sub station exploded. Good thing we had just gone to the library and I had non-electric hobbies/hazels to do.

Blondie~Likey your pearly whites? Whoo...the M date is nearing! LOL...on your DD and 100yr/o DBF.

Glad you are back on the exer/track. I was until the cane burning (smoke) and now 2nd day of rain.

Lynn~Good...your last brew is a goner! I'm almost ready to join you to getting to goal wt or @ least ready to get back to where I was last Dec.. Give me a few days.

Wen~Just drink that glass of wine and get it over with.

Missy~Whazup? Thought you were driving for a few days?

Well, off to finish what I didn't do yesterday...Ironing. i did bead up a bracelet for a GF's BD when the power was out and i hemmed up a dress that I've been meaning to do. I also cut down a caftan type dress and made it into a top and the rest of the fabric I'm making napkins out of or shoe bags.

Blondie..oh my..what a post. I think all that furniture humping is causing your craziness. I do love when kids get older and can really put a good spin on things for us "old" adults...

Goal weight? ha, funny...I've got about 20 more until my goal weight. And that weight is a bit iffy. I know for sure another 10...but its coming up on spring/summer in Minnesota and I don't know...when the nice weather hits, I hit the bottle (beer, cold wine on ice...

and vodka pink lemonade)

Yeah, maybe you all should just kick me off the bus and call it a day...maybe get me a little side car so I can chat?

I'm already planning on cocktailing it tomorrow night with my girlfriend. We have way too much catching up to do. I'll sleep there and make it a safe night. I'll bring lots of good on plan munchies, so that'll be good.

and I'm already planning on 3 days of craziness in Playa starting the 24th.

You guys choose. I almost feel guilty being on this board. I'm usually okay M-Thursday, but the weekends I need a pass

Happy Friday! Don't think I will get off the bus until tomorrow. My DD has a basketball game at 10:30am and there is nothing worse than sitting in that hot gym after a night of one too many. Now tomorrow night I am definitely getting off the bus, I finally have my taxes done and they are in the very capable hands of my accountant. The fact that it is only April 4th and they are complete is worth celebrating. (Huge procrastinator here, very bad quality I have). If I don't pop back on today, have a great weekend all and see you at the bus stop on Monday!

arg lynn...dont say the T word!! i will be attacking mine this weekend. ours are due April30th and i always wait too... and i dont mail them until the 30th either cause i dont want to send that cheque too fast!

my son made me some rapsberry/strawberry cristal light before...and i was thinking....um! this would be good with some vodka!!...so,the rest is in the fridge to get xtra cold...and its going to be my cocktail when DH arrives. and its SNOWING again! so there, that is an excuse to drink no>???!!!! Mitz help! we are now up to 357,000 feet of snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I miss friday's happy hour cause DH falls asleep, and i got ONE SIP out of my drink tonite!!!! its finally beautiful here, so DH and I are sitting outside and i realize its happy hour...go in and make 2 vodka crystal lights..come back out and DH is playing soccer in the street with the kids. so i sit and watch them. after i warn them to pass and not run since the streets havent been cleaned yet and all the sand and rocks makes it easy to slip...WAMO! DH is down and freaking out!!!! i run to him and see both hands scraped, but his right hand is bleeding like crazy and there is a rock inside! run in, clean it, try with the tweezers but this sucker is in DEEP and he is swaying and swooning..so off to the hospital we go. i came back home with little DS he is stillt here with the big guy prob wont be done until midnight or so. what a rotten dirty scoundrel he is to ruin my happy hour i had been looking forward to in a while!!!!!!!! and my supper got ruined too! had some nice chicken marinating for a barbq with asparagus and my supper ended up being a coffee from a machine!!

hope you all had a better day than i did!!! i did get to sit outside in the sun for an hour though...that felt gooooooooood!!! so, guess you can say that i am still on the bus!! might down a cognac after i pick him up tonite at whatever time he gets outta there! he might need a few also cause he is skeeeeeeeered knowing they are gonna have to dig in there to get that thing out. and i about peed myself when the nurse said he needed a tetanus shot! he hates needles!!

i told him i hope its in the butt and that was for ruining my weekened! he shouldnt have RUN! i told the kids NO RUNNING until they clean the streets!!!!

...quick drive by then to bed!! DH made it out OK I guess! needed surgery to cut and get that big azz rock out. its HUGE! there is nerve damage and he needs to see a neurologist!

off work for a week cause we have to clean 5 times a day for infection and he cannt move it at all and see if the nerve corrects itself!....its his right hand too

he is already sleeping now, and i am going to join him...accident happened at 4:30 got to the hospital at 5:00 and he was all done at 5:15! total total suck on the 12 hour thing!...he was in with the doc from1:15 to 5:00!! need to sleep now!!...later fatties!

Been bad here. I hate stress and my excuses that go with it. Had 3 days of voddie and hot chocolate at night. One plus thing. I can sleep better.
I will try again on Monday. Next weekend we will have a soccer tournament out of town and dh can not come so that will be a No-ing.

Playa del Carmen. A couple little botique hotel called Hotel Luna Blue, 18 rooms. I'm really looking forward to the break.

I did meet up with my friend Stacey Friday and we hit the Captain. I did have one beer Saturday night. I had been invited to dinner (DD's BF parents) They were seving Elk. I tried it, but the Mom had made me chicken cordon bleu. so wasn't really on plan, but I couldnt say no, I did decline the sides however.

Well, I do have a business trip Thursday and Friday so I'll be pretty absent the end of the week...

Conbo, I am so sorry about DH's hand. Amazing story!!!!

Pretty mellow weekend actually, although I did get into the wine. You know I'm finding that I really can't handle wine like I use to and I just don't feel well the next day no matter how much I've had. That's good though cause helps me keep my butt on the bus more often.

Did an hour of walking in the Hood yesterday. Then did some Hazel chores. Did some more beading. I made 3 rings. Was going to do some sewing...but, got out of the mood. Finished reading BFL (Body for Life) book. I may try that WOE and exercise.
Had another NO. Scale was a bit down today.

Off for my walk in the Hood after the dryer stops and after i fold the chit.

Sex after 3 months ( or maybe 3 1/2????) was pretty awesome! Stupid boss won't give me any time off work so I'm back to day but I'm floating on clouds!!!!!!

Lynn - Called my Mom in Colorado to tell her we got married and she said it was snowing!!!!

Sharon - My kids are so cheeky!!! my youngest DS tell DH (wow, that's wierd!) so you're my new Dad? DH says no, you have a Dad. But everytime he walks in the room the cheeky little boy says Hi Dad!!!!!

We know we won't see much of you for awhile since you have a lot of catching up to do Nat - Sending more good thoughts DH's way! Pretty mellow weekend actually, although I did get into the wine. You know I'm finding that I really can't handle wine like I use to and I just don't feel well the next day no matter how much I've had. That's good though cause helps me keep my butt on the bus more often. Off to work, so behind yet again....

Lynn~Hear ya on the wine. i've been trying to stay away from it lately. If I don't buy it...I don't drink it. Did an hour of walking in the Hood yesterday. Then did some Hazel chores. Did some more beading. I made 3 rings. Was going to do some sewing...but, got out of the mood. Finished reading BFL (Body for Life) book. I may try that WOE and exercise. Had another NO. Scale was a bit down today. Off for my walk in the Hood after the dryer stops and after i fold the chit.

Sex after 3 months ( or maybe 3 1/2????) was pretty awesome! Stupid boss won't give me any time off work so I'm back to day but I'm floating on clouds!!!!!! Nat - Hope DH's hand makes a full recovery. Lynn - Called my Mom in Colorado to tell her we got married and she said it was snowing!!!! Sharon - My kids are so cheeky!!! my youngest DS tell DH (wow, that's wierd!) so you're my new Dad? DH says no, you have a Dad.
