I am trying to even out my calories as I went to dinner with Anthony last night and over did the calories. I had my first glass of wine since... December?? Mmmm it was so good. Had a salad with blue cheese dressing, salmon, vegetables with butter, but I think the dressing must have had a bit of sugar.
It is hard to eat out, but I did the best that I could.

I had a bit too much fat today and too little protein, but okay. It is so hard to balance this perfectly along with calories!!! I added some macadamias (per Rosedale) and I think it kicked the fat up.

I'm so excited, I weighed in today at WW and I lost 1.6 pounds. That's 13.1 for me. I'm a lifetime member having been at goal before and need to lose another 53 to weigh in for free. But I'm so excited, the 14's are getting just a tad loss already but I know I can't fit into the 12's yet, so I'll just wear these for a while longer.

How is everyone's weekend going. DD is coming tomorrow to do a massage on DH, she needs to do 4 massages on one person and then write a paper for Medical Massage School. She'll be going out on the floor in about a month or so, and hopefully she'll graduate in November. she still has part of this semester to pass and then one more.

They couple accepted their offer on the house DD and her husband want to buy. They're set to close May 9. It will be so good for Alyssa to have a yard to play in, she'll be 2 in June and they have a black lab that has spent 2 years in a 2 bedroom apartment and only going outside to go potty and an occasional walk when I feel sorry for him. I'll put him on a leash and figure that I'm getting my walking in that way and it gets him out of the house.

Toodles, will get back with everyone tomorrow. Didn't get to sleep til after 4 in the morning, no wonder I slept through the earthquake!!!!

I am pretty sure I stalled myself sun like you said to much protein...

bridget Mark me in for 176 again.

This weekend was kinda hard for me cause me and DH went to town to help his sister out with some wood that was given away and I hadnt had anything to eat all day and it was past lunch time...."I was thinking the whole time that I was going to bomb it for sure."
But we ended up stopping at wal-mart so I got me some atkins bars for something quick, and a rock star to get me by it helped.

We went to his sisters to drop off the wood and they had some tri-tip smoking for us it was really good but I ended up eating that along with a whole ear of corn! ( I was hungry, and so not thinking of plan.)

That is twice this month that I have fallen off plan. I know that made me mad with no weight loss, so I was thinking "What-ever!"
But thats all I over did it with this time, normally its more so I am not to mad at myself....

sun I am starting to think ya know once in a while its okay to enjoy that glass of wine or a certain food ya know, why not?!
I have heard in the lobby that you can have wine its okay LCing, as long as its not the sweet wine.
TY for the calculator I will check that out, I know that's what I prob did wrong to cause a stall.

rebecca Congrad's on the weight loss! "Woo-Hoo!"

Only got a second but needed to report in. My weight stayed the same too. Tough times I guess.

Jo - I had a bit of trouble this weekend too at my fil's 89'th b-day party. Had a little rice and a piece of my moms apple pie.

You know, here it is a new day and we are back at it and it is the journey that will take us to our destination. We just have to get right back on the saddle (bikes for us right now , ha ha) and we will be fine.

Sun - you had dinner with Anthony how nice. It sounds like you did pretty darn good for eating out. I really hope you had a great time. How is the boy anyhow? .. Are you feeling good after the wine? I am sure hoping that you are able to have a glass of wine every now and again. I hope the salad dressing didn't have sugar and didn't cause you to have cravings or anything like that. Got my fingers crossed tight for you. I think the salad dressing I had yesterday had sugar too, probably why I couldn't resist the apple pie. I am better today though. Back at it. My teeth kind of hurt due to a dentist appointment so it is keeping me from eating too much. I guess that just shows there is a silver lining with every cloud. Even a dentist appointment can have its benefits.. Now if you ever tell that I actually said that I will deny it, ha ha

Okay, I will try to get the chart up tomorrow, I think it will look just like last week except I have to add Rebecca and since she lost well, it will look might good

Rebecca - yay for your weight loss. That is awsome.

That is great that rebecca has had some loss!

I have opened my mouth on another thread about joining together and getting in thirty minutes a day exercizing, so I am gonna go for a walk here in a bit after I get some chores done in my house.
(I have to check in first though, I am so hooked on you all!)

bridget Maybe next week we will be able to report a loss, I hope!
I do know that I need to start drinking more water and less coffee that would help me out, ha ha!
So my hat's off to rebecca

Hope you feel better soon bridget and can eat, I know how that is....
Wednesday I have my doc appt for the arm, I hope that it's all healing up well and I am over the part of might need surg~If it shifts.

Have a good day all, I have alot of chores and need to take thirty minutes out for myself.
Chat with ya tomorrow

peeking in

Hi....
I'm ashamed of myself. I've had a difficult time getting back on track and staying "here". I seem to do great for a week or so but get off track pretty easily. Sigh. Hope you guys don't mind me poking my head back in even though I haven't been around much to be very supportive.

We've had alot going on and to top it off, I lost one of my dog "babies" Sunday night. It's been a tough week already.

DH and I had agreed last week that we would start fresh on Monday. I'm managing to stay on track and plan to stay on induction levels for a couple weeks and start over with my exercise routine.

Paws - you know we have all been there. Don't feel ashamed about it. It is part of the journey. It is really great to see you back. You will get back on track, I just know it. I am so so sorry to hear about your Pup.. I will keep you in my thoughts!

Jo - Well I certainly hope we see a loss. I am doing pretty darn good at maintaining right now. Somethings got to give. I did a nice bike ride yesterday, but it made me ravenous all day and my bum is sore. I need to get in better shape.

Sun, Ophelia, Sophie, Blanche, Rebecca - Hey there ...

Doc appt went well he told me I can play my guitar, ride a bike and do some moderate weight lifting with it now.
"It will take another two months before it is totally healed up though and I should not ride either of my horses in case of an accident."

(I am happy though!)

I ate well today and stuck to induction, have a good night all!

Wow- so happy you can play the guitar, ride a bike and lift weights!! Very cool. Hey, have you ever thought of adding some coconut oil to your diet to get your calories up a bit without more protein? It has GREAT benefits. Truly. You could add some to your egg cream. I worry about you going so low in your calories and setting off the starvation mode.

Bridget- MMmmmm apple pie. Makes me think of my mom's GREAT pies. Yummers. Ick on the dentist. I hate to go there. How great that you have been biking in spite of a sore bum. My crystal ball says you will see a loss soon.

Rebecca- congrats

Paws- please don't be embarrassed around us! No one understands it better! Stay with us and post. You will be back in the saddle in no time.

My weigh in is tomorrow morning. I'm going to get up at 6 a.m. to weigh in before work. I think I've gained, but if I don't go tomorrow and I lose next week I won't know exactly what I did lose next week.

Going to close for now, sorry so short but DH just got home from work. Everyone have a great Friday,

Quick shout-out from NYC! Hi all!

Was invited to a 4-star restaurant last night and needless to say, I ate everything they put in front of me! When will I ever get to go to a place like that again!

More when I get back home.

O.

I am sooo happy. I lost 2.6 pounds this week. That was totally unexpected. So now the thing is to really watch it this week cuz if I don't it will catch up with me next week!!! THat's 15.7 pounds total with 54 more to go.

I have CPR training tomorrow, both my DD and I do for our work at the daycare. I will check back tomorrow night to see how everyone is doing.

ophelia Wow, I would have prob done the same thing at that restaurant. That must have been really nice!

sun Sounds like you are eating well good work!

rebecca WTG, that's great with your weight loss!

I actually did well over this last weekend and stuck to plan
bridget you can mark me down for a 1lb loss Saturday.
I weighed in at 175 Saturday.

I do feel a bit thinner now and people are noticing that I am losing weight finally.
"I went from a size 34 to now a size 32." In men's jean's.
I am feeling great!

How is everyone doing??

Get your pink booties in here

I have been having my coffee and creamer in the morning along with an egg cream protein breakfast.
Lunch is usually ground turkey, or hamb patty. Sometimes a tuna melt and always with mayo for some extra fat.
Dinner I will have been having chicken, or again ground turkey...I have found out that I love ground turkey better than beef.

Eggs, cheese, mayo, chicken, turkey, beef, LC monster, diet soda, coffee and cream~ Has been my menu latley, its not to badI am getting use to eating this way.
On occasion I will have some cream cheese as a treat.

It always totals about 20 carbs a day, I think in May I am going to add a little bit of green foods here and there with moderation.

I gained .2 today, BUT I usually go on Friday at 7 a.m. before I go to work and I not only missed 2 days (I only had 5 days since weigh in) I weighed at noon. So, for that I'm not going to stress out. I like the Friday weigh in but a friend from work is going to start next Thursday (I think she was going to start tomorrow and she might still start, but her Mom can't watch her 3 year old son for the meeting this week, but she can starting next week, and I was trying to get more on Andrea's schedule for next week. I like to weigh in the morning, I don't like night time weigh in's, so I thought I would go on Wednesday's from now on to weigh in (even if I have Alyssa, my DGD, I can still weigh in, I can stay for the Noontime meeting if I don't, but I don't like to take kids, people pay for a meeting and children, being kids (I work with kids so I know what to expect from them, just being their little ol' selves) and that will get me on an even path now. Besides, if I do miss a Wednesday that still gives me Friday as a back up weigh in. BUT, I did get my 10 pound blue ribbon (for every 10 pounds now I will get a gold cloth type star to put on it) and 2 more gold stars for my bookmark that they give you. NOW, I have the 10 pound blue ribbon and three 5 pound gold stars on my bookmark. Life is good even if I was up .2 pounds. My daughter said, "Mom, that could have been the difference in you pooping or not." LOL, she has the funniest sense of humor but I had to answer back, "nope, did that before I went to the meeting." haha.

I hope that everyone has a great Thursday, almost to the weekend. YAY.

Are we going to have a May thread in the morning??? Just checking.
