Rough day at work. Too many rough days at work lately. *Sigh* I should leave it at that. If I start ranting, I'll never stop.

Aw Angel I am sorry! I am very happy that I am busy at work! Don't get the time to come here like i used to though...

Stayed on track today. Missed breakfast, DH and i met with a new attorney, his current one is fighting him and wanting him to settle for stuff that is not good. But I had another burger wrapped in lettuce (I have precooked ones in the freezer) and then had some caesar salad. No real dinner yet, DH and DS are on the way home from SD's game and i am gonna make breakfast for dinner.

I still have not caught up on this thread. Maybe I just need to start fresh?

Sigh

Sorry Angel to hear about your job. I am not fond of my new job either. I havent been on here much because I am either at my job or looking for a new one. I wont whine about it too much but we are in the same boat.

Lisa, glad you are here and stayed on track! The thread is long and it might take forever to catch up.....

Yay Lisa - great to see you back! And glad to hear you're doing well.
Bunless burgers sound like a great idea - I'm thinking of starting with those too.

Liz & Angel - Sorry to hear about the job stresses, hope things improve soon or you find a job that you enjoy more.

Hummingbird - hope you're doing well - haven't seen you post in a couple of days.

I've really fallen off the wagon - I'm going to start back for sure with Induction tomorrow - I can see it on my body that I've gained weight - have been slacking on the exercise too - I think it's cuz my routine is shaken up a bit - need to find some structure again. I won't even tell you what I'm eating for dinner now but it's the last night - for sure!

Angela, Come on. You can do it. You know how to do it, it's just a matter of making yourself start. (At least, that's how it is with me.)

I didn't do so hot today. Breakfast and dinner were fine, but lunch was I don't even really know why other than I wanted it. Oh well. I'll do better tomorrow.

Liz, I'm sorry to hear that you don't like your new job. Do you have anything good on the horizon?

I'm feeling better today. Thanks, everyone for the support. I still don't know what I should do. I think I want to find a new job, but if we actually get the new person they've been promising me, things will get a lot better. I'm in a wait and see mode, I guess.

Lisa, don't worry about catching up, just jump in from here. I'm really glad to see you back.

ANYONE INTERESTED ??

Hey BAB's!!

Here's a msg that I just received from my Hypnotherapist in Walnut Creek - R U interested? I think I'm gonna have to go check it out! TUESDAY, MAY 13 at 7pm in WALNUT CREEK

Hi Diane,

OK, we will postpone until July.

I was recently introduced to an amazing company that's based on the Law of Attraction and offers a nutritional beverage that is unbelievable. Deepak Chopra has partnered with Bill Farley (the guy behind Fruit of the Loom) to bring it to market. The company is called Zrii.

Diane, I have been introduced to many products over the years but was always skeptical, so I decided to try it out first. Well, I have never had so much energy and well-being. Thought you might like to take a look at it.

Here is a website to check out:

Zrii -*Home

Look at the story on the front page.

If this has any interest to you, or something you would like to look into, then just let me know. I have invited some folks from the Zrii organization to my home this Tuesday evening, 5/13, at 7pm. They are available to answer any questions. Let me know if you want to come. The goal of the company is to offer both abundant health and abundant wealth. Sounds good to me!

If this doesn't interest you, then please feel free to pass along the info or just toss it. Just wanted to share. My intuition tells me that this is a wonderful way to keep creating more abundance.

Sending my best regards,
Gerri

HB, thanks for the info. I briefly checked out the website. Is it something like Monavie?

I have good news! My period was only a day late! yay! You all know this is cause for celebration. Last month it was only 4 days late. The met is working. It took about 3 months but I am so happy. The only thing is, I have some horrible cramps...but I am so happy for them!

Hope you all are well!

I have congratulated women on getting their perid...but only cuz it meant they were not preggers. This is weird - but WAY TO GO! I am so glad the meds are working.

Mine is getting messed up but then again, I had my last (first and last) child in 1995 and no egg/sperm action since then. and tubes tied last year. And of course i am almost 38...

Hi everyone!

I am back from the conference (thank goodness!...between that and school, Im toast). Had a great time, saw a bunch of folks I wouldnt otherwise get to see of pal around with.

So the good news is that I decided to go the atkins route (even went and purchased the book since I dont know where the old one is), the bad news is that the conference was a 3.5 day long binge. The people putting on the conference wanted to emphasize "self care", and this somehow translated to food being everywhere...in the mornings it was danish central, in the afternoon it was cookies, cakes and icecream

So, I am getting back on track...induction here I come.

Liz ~ Yay for you! I'm expecting mine any time now, and I think it's making me a bit moody. And tired. And a bit

Welcome back Sparkle. Congrats on picking a plan. Don't you just love how work events always have horrible food, everywhere? Tomorrow's donut/bagel day at work. Maybe eventually they'll start bringing something healthy like fruit.

So I'm back....on low carb and exercise...
I completed my 50th hour of Callanetics yesterday and will
be doing my 51st later on today.
This is my 3rd day back on low-carb - I feel so much better - that high carb food stayed stuck in my intestines for days...sorry if that's TMI for some people...I could discuss bowel movements for hours...they fascinate me
A friend introduced me to this amazing tincture that she made from fresh garlic run through a juicer and then soaked in ACV for at least a month - I take a tsp every night. The 1st night I took it was with OJ to coat my stomach but I needed a low carb alternative - I tried aloe vera juice last night - I'm not sure if it'll work - it really burned - but my stomach was empty as well - we'll see what happens tonight. It's great for circulation for the skin, intestines, heart, high cholesterol, infections, lots of things, I can really feel a difference already...it really helped almost immediately with my constipation...I'll keep you updated as I use it more and more...I've also read that ACV is great for weight loss...

Angel - hope you're enjoying the weekend...away from your job...were things better later in the week? Did you get the person they promised you?

Hummingbird - I've never heard of that drink. Sounds interesting though. I'm already taking, on occasion, 2 different juices - one based on wolfberries (Gou Qi Zi) and one based on Acai (Monavie) - it seems that super food juices are the new trend. There's some really good stuff in the one you posted.

Princess - Congrats on your period - that's so awesome that the meds are working so well for you - what a relief. How's the job hunting going? Or are things maybe going better at the present job?

Hi Lisa!

Welcome back sparkle - looking forward to helping to support you along your low carb journey!

Welcome Back!!!!!!!!!

Oh you and me both sister! I could discuss BM's all day!

And you already know that I too, have constipation issues, so this aloe vera juice info is quite interesting to me. And very timely as I'm going to be drinking a Fawn Shake for breakfast every day next week!

Yes, please keep us posted. ACV = Apple Cider Vinegar? How do you take? How much per day? How? By itself? Or in something? Thanks!

Oh, here's Fawn's latest recipe:

4 cups veggies organic, kale, cabbage, collard, chard of color, spinach & broccoli
1 cup yogurt or kefir or both
2 tbs. peanut butter
2 tbs. ground flax seed (HB uses Bob's Red Mill flaxseed meal from TJ's)
1 tbs. chloriphyl
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 tbs. coconut oil
1/2 cup aloe vera juice
1 tbs. bee pollen (Local for allergy relief)
1 raw egg

blend and enjoy!

hey all, another long day. But I started it off right, slept in and had DH time when I finally woke up so that is good. I like mothers day weekend!! I have stayed on plan, even when i was rushed to get lots done before games, I still stopped and made myself a 'sandwich salad". No breakfast, cuz I slept in. Dinner was naked hooters wings and some celery and blue cheese. I think I have a couple pounds off this week - but i know it is water and i also know where i was 10lbs ago before I totally fell off the wagon.

Have a great rest of your weekend!

Just checking in with everyone. It has been a crazy few weeks. Seems like I have good and bad days at work. I am pleased to say that someone stepped up at work and I actually have 2 days off in a row! Today and tomorrow. Trying to stay positive on the new job. It has its ups and downs. I have to take it day by day. Getting ready to move next Sun and Mon with all the stress in my job it is really hard.

I have to admit that I have not been 100% consistent with my eating. As some of the vets may know...when I am not here much it is probably bc I am off plan. Since I lost the 8lbs that one week...I have been eating what I want to feel nourished. I actually feel better at work bc I am not stressing about eating LC. I have my good LC days and my bad LC days. The scale has not been bad to me either.

Hope you all have a great day and enjoy your Mothers Day!

Happy Mothers Day!

This morning I did the kitchen sweep...getting rid of all induction derailers and then went shoppies for grub for the week. I am taking my mom and g-ma out to dinner (Uncle Yu's) tonight and when I get home I am going to put together lunch for the week.

I also started a fitday account so I could better track what all is going in my mouth.
