StartingOver...where are you...lol
Ok I guess this will be our thread
![]() I don't know what your goals are but mine are to loose 50 lbs, then after that I'll worry about the other 10 lbs to be in the "normal, healthy" range. I have two mini goals, one is to loose 20 lbs by my bday of Sept 29, and the other is to get into a single size jeans. I am currently in a sz 16 (but just barely fit in now, they are the ones I'm wearing in the pic) so really a sz 18. I'm sure I won't get into a single digit size til I actually loose the whole 50 lbs, but we'll see... my measurments are waist 46 1/2 hips 50 inches bust 42 I guess I'll start with what I've had today B-2 eggs fried in olive oil 5 peices of bacon L-2 boneless chicken breast covered with 1 Tbsp of hot wing seasoning (4g carbs) green beans D-cube steak broccoli Salad with ranch dressing

I'm here!! Thanks for starting the thread
![]() My goal is the same as yours 150, then after that OWL to see what feels "right" I'm not sure what my measurements are Gotta get that done asap. I honestly was so good today, until dinner time and let myself get stressed out (work, midterms, tom)and I had some macaroni salad I'm having an extremely hard time this time around getting back into the atkins mode. The first time I did atkins it was a breeze and I got all the way down to 163!! I'm hoping this accountabilty will help me stay on track doing this with a buddy! We can encourage and motivate eachother. Great job today! I am not going to let this setback stop me. The summer session of school starts in May I'd like to be in the 180s by that time, b/c I won't be able to hide in sweaters and baggy clothing then, so I'd like to make some significant progress by then.

I'm thinking I made need to give my scale a break too. I've basically become a slave to it. I think I will have bf pack it up and away so I won't have that to focus on...

GOOOD MORNIN SUNSHINE!
yeah right...last night sucked for me! I had diarrhea all day, yeah I know TMI ![]() So it finally started feeling better after dinner. I took a hot shower and decided to have a bud light. Why I thought that would help anything I don't know...lol. Let's just say that made matters worse. Other than that I did good all day. and I really hope whats going on is a stomach virus and not the affects of atkins! I'm glad to have someone accountable for me too. My husband is supportive but not incourageing at all. He's actually lost 100 lbs doing atkins before I met him, but these days he just can't get away from sweets. He loves that I'm losing but has yet to start with me. So I so needed ya girl! thanks Lets not even get started on that dang scale! I had originally been weighing myself every morning on a dial scale. starting wieght said 210, then got down to 195, so I thought. Got my husband to buy me a digital scale and it said I was 208. So now that I've got a accurate scale I'm addicted to wieghing every stinkin morning! but at least its going down. I also know what ya mean about stress. I stay at home with the kids, three of them. You'd think I wouldn't be able to gain any weight as much as I'm always running after them. But its more of my food choices that got me in trouble ![]() Don't feel bad about that macaronni salad. I need to give up my beer for good and I'd do much better. As long as you can pick yourself right back up its all good. I will check in later to add my foods. |

Good Morning! Hope you're feeling a bit better. I definately think it's something going around
I've been having the upset stomach too, and an annoying cold blech.I wonder how off my scale is too, it is an old rinky dink dial scale that I've had forever and ever, maybe when I hit my 190 goal that'll be one of my rewards a new scale.. haha I'm about to go have some hot wings and roasted broccoli now. I saw a recipe for cauliflower pizza that I want to try but no time to cook it right now. So I gotta keep it simple. You could've done a lot worse than a bud light Here's to a great day POP, one day at a time!! I'll check in later. |

I like how your siggy is broken down into increments of 5 makes it not seem sooo darn daunting!! So I borrowed it, and broke down and put the more accurate weight.

MY DAY......hmmm where do I start.
Well as far as eating and doing good it went fine to start. Then, I had to rush my son to the hosp. (he's only 1) because he could hardly breathe, and was crying hysterically. Turned out he's ok and got sent home with antibiotics, and other meds. But, it was such a stressful day that I broke down and got a double cheeseburger from Mc'D's. I know, I know I could have easily got a side salad or any salad for that matter, but I only had $10, had to get food for me, hubby and three kids, and I was extremely hungry! Then the girls we're up all night throwing up (guess they caught that virus I had) so K is staying home today with the runs...ewww I know. I need sleep! I know your going to hate me when I say this though but I weighed myself this morning, and I was 203.8, when yesterday morn it was 204.4....I'm sure that cheeseburger hasn't showed up yet. It will make its appearance tomorrow ![]() Anyway, I woke up late this A.M., so I havn't had anything to eat, and it's already 11am here.... Better go fix something up ![]() Last edited by den092981 : 02-27-2008 at 09:03 AM. |

TG everything is okay with DS! So sorry to hear that the your dd's are not feeling well either
I hope they start feeling better soon!It was definitely a stressful day for you. But today is a new day, and brush that setback off and start fresh, as long as you don't use that as an excuse to keep eating the wrong things and go into a carb fueled binge. We can do it! Thats weird how that happens eat something bad and then lose, and other times eat something bad and gain 30! LOL j/k I'm down again to 200, I've had a turkey ceaser salad so far today. I'll check in with ya later!! Here's to a good day POP!!! One day at a time. |

Its the oopsie rolls with a big fat cheeseburger with onion and bacon in the middle...working on dinner right now.

Haha, I have taken some before shots veeerry scary indeed. Definitly let me know how the pizza comes out because I want to make it tonight after class. Don't worry your whoosh is on it's way too
But atleast that mc donalds didn't make you gain! I know for me I'm usually up a few pounds after something like that.I'm soooo tired today, I didn't sleep well at all. And to top it off those greens I had last night are running right through me, I don't know why collards always seem to do that. I guess that should tell me something, but they are just soooo good. Heres to another day POP!!! One day at a time!! We can do it! |

It was really good.I should have shredded the cauliflower a bit more, and let it cook for a few more minutes.
I could sorta taste the cauliflower, but I think the crisper you get the "crust" the more that taste goes away. Also mine stuck a lil but after you let it cool it gets easier to scoop out. I think my next ones will be hamburger and onion, and sausage and egg. and one more thing...it takes about a cup and half of FROZEN couliflower to get a cup of cooked shreaded. |

haha...I cooked it for dinner too. Hubby came home and said he's finally on board and wanted some of that carbless pizza. So we had it and buffalo chicken, and corn.
Not to bad but I'm mostly excited that he's in it with me!!! |
