OMG I do the same thing! I have been at day one from the start (dec 28)...lol!
And you wanna know something else great I accomplished yesterday....after we got home,I had a lil Rum, which isn't bad until I get a buzz and want Mc'D's or Taco HELL, and my Hubby did go get me not one but TWO double cheeseburgers!
Well, do you know that I sat on the couch with them in hand and decided I wasn't doing that to myself!
I didn't take one bite!!!! Me and DH ended up eating them on oopsie rolls this morning!
Now I have another problem I'm going out tonight with my SIL and aunt and they want to go to a bar=beer...lol Well, see how it goes
I think if I can overcome a double cheeseburger I can do anything...lol

I went out last night with my SIL and had about 5 beers!
But I did eat good all day before, and after the fact. And I did alot of dancing so I'm hoping that helped...lol

I'm back on board today. Even got my brisk walking in! I even brought all three kids with me. The girls rode their bike and I put sean in his stroller.

Doesn't it suck when TOM comes to visit....uggghhh, I hate it, it makes me not want to do anything!
So how did your pizza go...I have to make up some oopsies and pizza crust today. Since hubby is on board with me its easier to have things already made ya know..

No need for a pic..I know what it looks like

This is what I had for lunch. Philly cheesesteak. I couldn't think of anything I wanted and realized hubby had bought roast beef from the deli yesterday for his lunch's. So I I put a lil grease in a pan and fried it along with a lil onion, bell pepper and garlic. salt and pepper and added a ton of cheese. omg was it sooooo good!

I am cooking baked chicken wings for dinner with green bean casserole minus the topping. I think I might do a salad too, not sure what elese would go good with wings.

We're getting crapola weather this evening so no walking for me I guess.

for green bean casserole all I do is put two cans of green beans in a pan mix cream of mushroom soup in with it. Bake it for about 20 minutes and I add chedder cheese on top when it comes out...since I can't do the bread crumbs.

Still at 204.4 over here. Its been over a week since I've lost anything

ohhhhh I made the fake cauliflower fried rice tonight.
It was sooooo good! My husband actually thought it was REAL rice. Then when I told him what it really was he still thought I must have put a lil REAL rice in it...lol
Anyway we had that and cube steak with brocoli. I am still full.

Yay! for you!!!!!!!!
I on the other hand somehow went up a lb.
I am happy to report that my hubby is down 10 lbs. in a week!!! and he makes me so jelous cause he's still bringing wheat bread sandwiches for lunch instead of just eating out. and drinking diet coke. Do you know I havn't had coke in almost 3 months!

I think we will have some sort of chicken stir fry friday. Tonight its beef stew.
I just ate a sausage, egg and cheese on a oopsie!

Lunch I'm doin the pizza again since I already shredded my cauli.

Do you find it hard cooking for yourself and boyfriend since he's NOT on a diet? Now I hate cooking for the kids cause I have to cook so much more food.

Like, I made chop steaks with gravy, the faux cauli. rice, and brocolli with cheese for us, and cooked peni noodles and mashed pototoes for the kids to go with what I cooked for us (minus the fake rice) Well they had mounds of food on their plates but still wanted some of our cauli. rice!!!

I was like no, no, no you get to have mashed pototoes damnit...

But they don't understand they just wanted to try it so we let them and they liked it...Hubby said we've figured out a way to sneak veggies in now...lol

But my point is its sooo hard to make sure everyone has enough food around here, and getting expensive as well!

I can definitely imagine it is expensive to have to have enough for you and hubby and the kids. It is expensive enough with my and my bf and it's just us 2! I really don't cook for bf b/c I don't see the point in torturing myself and neither does he, he likes to cook anyway so it works out well. Like last night for instance he was on one side of the stove making lasagna and I was on the other side making my stir fry, but boy is it tempting to grab some of whatever he is eating. He does try to help in eating things that I don't like much, and he won't have french fries and things like that around me b/c he knows I'm weak for them. He could be fine eating lo carb if he had to, b/c he doesn't care for high carb things to much which drives me nuts!! On the other hand he has to have his beer, so I guess we all have our weaknesses. Sorry for babbling on hehe.

Your woosh is coming girl I can feel it! And OMG at your hubby losing 10lbs in a week, and still eating bread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHYYYYYYYY is all I can say men are sooo lucky!!!

Speaking of sneaking veggies, I was babysitting my neice and nephew and they love my lo carb foods, lol. My newphew had some parm fries, and my neice loves the low carb pizza. I def think lo carb recipes are a great way to get kids to eat some xtra veggies b/c it tastes so good.

Ooo and your story reminds of the commercial I think it's called slim quick or something with the man and woman.

The woman says we started ordering salads when we go out and the hubby loses all this weight, and the womans boobies only go down, then she says we stopped drinking soda and this happens, and the guy loses all his weight and she basically stays the same. it goes something like that I can't remember exactly. I always laugh when I see that commercial, but it's so freaking true and un fair! my bf can lose weight without even trying.

I knew you were going to say that (about the commercial). I had thought the same thing when I typed it but couldn't remember the name of the pills so I didn't say anything.
I wouldn't even believe him if I hadn't seen it myself. But, boy is he excited! Which helps me b/c now I have one more person accountable for me.
Wanna here something funny. I just got back from Mc'D's and got a "cripsy" chicken casear salad. Well, the whole way home I was talking myself out of the crispy chicken part. I made my pizza to go with it, opened up the bag and they had messed up and put grilled chicken. So I guess that was a sign...lol
Do you start all over if you only eat a bite of something carbfull, or a piece, like a chicken nugget, or a french frie? I know your going to say yes. But I always think its ok...
Just remember when you ever have kids not to think "well, I'm pregnant I can eat like I want"...thats what got me to where I'm at today. I had three kids within 4 yrs but oh, how I wish I would have ate healthier!

I don't start over if it's just a bite of something. Usually only if I make it a full meal or the full day then I just scrap it and start over with day 1. I have to really get out of the cycle though, b/c it is sooo hard to get back on track after a cheat.

That is too funny about the salad, if that wasn't a sign I don't know what is! I am still not in ketosis, I keep messing around so I haven't gotten there yet, and I can't wait for the wonderful appetite supression and all that good stuff that comes with it. This is def one of the harder days for me when i normally start struggling so I'm really going to have to tough it out and not give in.

omg I looked on the Mc'D's website and did you know that that freakin salad has 12 carbs in the salad mix alone and then another 4 carbs in the dressing!
It has 3 grams of fiber too. I am seriously about to cry. No wonder I can't loose even when I'm "not cheating!" Thats just ridiculous. What the hell are they putting in the grilled chicken for it to have 6 carbs!

I looked at the kids 10 pc chicken nugget and it only has 26 carbs, so my salad had more than half of what their chicken nuggets had.

I guess I need to just stay home and cook every single meal. uggghhh!

Not much to report today. We had beef stew for dinner last night. I love that stuff, but I did eat the tomatoes in it, but no noodles!

I got sooo excited this morning when I jumped on the scale...it kept jumping from 202 to 203....then it landed on 204.2, so I still lost something but only .2 lbs...Its like freakin wheel of fortune!

We watched Big Medicine on TLC last night, and it got me thinking about my "excess skin" or extra stomach as I call it...lol After having my stomach stretch out three times over. I just know once I do loose the wieght that it still isn't gonna be pretty down there...lol

Wow, did the salad have crutons in it? If so that maybe would account for most of the carbs, that and carrots, tomatos etc and I pick around that stuff anyway.

I don't want to claim this number just yet, I want to see if it sticks but I've weighed consistently throughout the day at 196, but I'll know for sure tomorrow if it's just a fluke. I think I feel ketosis coming on, I had a headache most of yest and this morning, and my appetite and cravings are nowhere near as bad.

The beef stew sounds soooo good, I think I may make that tomorrow, do you mind sharing the recipe you use, I may make tht and try that cauli rice too.

Had a dentist appointment am going to have 2 root canals on the 18th blech blech blech, other than that it has been a good but busy day.

Just wanted to add, I went to Hardees and ordered their side salad and the 2 for $3 cheeseburgers, and their salad is huge and good!! I've had salads from mc donalds and burger king and they were always bad to say the least! I mean how can you mess up a salad?!?! Most of the time a good majority of the lettuce was browned and rotten looking so I would end up throwing most of it away, I don't know if yours is like that but I stopped getting from there b/c I'd end up throwing more than half the salad away But Hardees is so huge and fresh you can only eat half in one sitting which works out great, and you can have the other half later with your other sandwich for under $5!! I think I've found my new quick meal on the go

If you have one near you, you should def check it out.

I've been thinking of the excess skin too, so worried about how my skin is going to look once I reach my desired weight. I feel like my body is covered in stretch marks already. I haven't started my excercise yet, but I know resistance training etc will help some but we shall see. Seems for the most part ppl say that its unavoidable, but I think the worst cases are those who were extremely overweight then had the bypass surgery and lost the weight so quickly their skin couldn't keep up.

awww thats great! Sorry I didn't write last night, my niece got bit by a snake so it was a long night. But she's ok. I would have never thought to get a salad from Hardee's. I already love their cheeseburgers. Did you put them on oopsies or do you just eat the meat? I usually get my salads from wendy's or Mc D's, and I have to admit I got a nasty lettuce looking one the other day. So I'll have to check out Hardees next time.

I have always had stretch marks. Even when I was smaller. I guess I have very tight skin and as soon as it stretched just a lil that was it! It always sucked though as a teenager not being able to were a bikini comfortablly because I had a few stretch marks. I knew it was all downhill when I got pregnant with my first daughter. But now my stomach litterally looks like a watermelon!

What type of excercise are you going to do? I know you mentioned resistance training, but honestly I don't even know what that is? I only know basic stuff like walk, run, situps, crunches, pushups. Since I havn't really excercised in years I have no clue what it all means and what excercise helps what body part...lol

All I know is I want to get rid of love handles around my waist, hips, get rid of these thighs, gut and butt (well some of it..I like my ghetto booty). And get rid of the flabby arms (is there one for that?) oh yeah and I have a lil back fat...haha

I did pretty good yesterday. ate my eggs and sausage for break. then the cauli pizza for lunch and went to eat mexican for dinner got fahitas and just ate the lettuce, tomatoe mix, meat, and sour cream. OMG I love me some mexican!!!!

As far as my beef stew. ALL you need is package of beef stew (the cut up pcs) a can of stewed tomatoes, small bag of frozen vegtable mix (get the one that has carrots, green beans, corn it usually will say for soups etc), celery, I put alot of this cause I like it (bout 3 stalks) one small onion, and I put a lil garlic in too. And a stew seasoning packet, and egg noodles if your cooking for BF too

Brown stew meat in olive oil, add cut up celery, onion, and the garlic. Let it cook for a few minutes, then add a stew seaoning, and about 2 cups of water or beef stock. Water is fine I've never used the stock. I usually have to add water as it cooks I just dont want it to be too watery or end up sticking to the bottom.
add can of stewed tomatoes. Cook for about an hour, and about 45 minutes before your going to eat add noodles, then about 20 minutes before add frozen veggies.

YUMMMALICIOUS! I usually added potoatoes and carrots too, but that was tooo tempting this time. But the kids usually eat that part.

omg where are you at!!!! guess whaaaaaaat....
I'm down to 203.8 babe!
And the funny thing is I almost cheated again last night. I swear we are drinkers on the weekend I guess. Cause we sat back and watched 30 days of night after the kids were asleep so I had a drink of rum and diet pepsi. And like always wanted a damn double cheeseburger again. But, thank god thank god, I had made my oopsies yesterday.
So, I just switched out their 28 carb bread for mine and it saved my life...lol
I even got hubby to eat his on the oopsie too. He had been scared to try it cause he said it looks nasty. But, what do ya know he loves them too now!
I'm not going to lie I did eat a few french fries, I don't know why he even got those for me?
But anyway, I am soooo happy!
