Sure, I like that number, but does that number actually LIKE me? You know what I am saying? As women get older (don't ya love it), being too thin isn't good. It might have looked good when I was 20, but that was 25 YEARS AGO!! lol

I my BMI is 20 and at 128-132 I would be 21. I think that makes a difference at my "age". It won't really change the size of my clothes, but it will give me more Fat for my skin (that's what I am thinking) lol
When we went to Rome last year, there were lots of "mature" women who were very slim, very stylish, but had a curious tanned leather look, and sort of pinched and miserable - a combination of staying too thin and too tanned for their age. I also find it helpful to think about my friends and acquaintances because, guess what? Rigorous discipline about maintaining a perfect body doesn't feature at all in the list of things I like about my friends.

My BMI is just over 21 at the moment. 112 would put it at 20. But when I look in the mirror - where I am is just fine. I don't need to lose another five pounds just because I was there a couple of years ago. As you said, I don't need to do it just because I can. If I repeat this enough times, eventually it will sink in.

Me too! I think you and I should chant "Just because we CAN, doesn't mean we Should".

21 sounds like a much better BMI for me and I think it's PERFECT for you too. It's one of those "Mindset" things we have to move past. We can do it.

Morning gals:

Not much to report. I'm stuck at 213.

I almost wonder if I should go off atkins for awhile, gain a little and go back on and lose more. Is that what cycling is? I got stuck on Kimkins too, ate normally for awhile and started atkins and lost down to where I am now, ten pounds lighter.

Or should I just stick it out and see if I start losing again?

Oh, decisions, decisions...

The roads were all white with strange little ice pellets this morning. It wasnt slippery, more like styrofoam.

Tooter, congrats on all your savings. Thats amazing! Wish stores here did double coupons.

Wonder if Click has heard back from any of the apartments today... or news from DS's school...

Woe, I wanted to ask you a question....You do the U-Promise thing, right? (I think that's the name of it) Where it saves for your kids college fund as you buy things when you shop.

Anyways...Just wondering if "I" could do that for Irelyn? Can a Grandparent do that?

Thanks for any help you can give me, buddy.

Ok, what happened to cause you to gain the weight? Did you go off a little? Fill me in with the details.

NOOOOO Do not go eating a bunch of food to gain weight hoping to lose. That's not cycling.

I think you should stick with low carb, go strict on your carbs and up your fat (to make you feel full) get the extra weight off and then slowly add in more carbs and see how you do.

Jumping on and off of different plans is what screws your metab up. Metabs take time to heal and most people don't want to wait it out....So they do something drastic (which only makes it worse).

Can you give me a clue as to how you have been eating lately? Maybe a menu?

Lost and found hasn't been on since yesterday. I know she said she had School work to do and then with all this "moving, apartment" stuff going on all at once.

I sure hope everything is just Moving through and she is busy planning everything.

The Girl Sure could use a "Break". I have my fingers crossed and have her in my prayers.

I would guess that you could do it, yes.

If her parents have it set up, you could link to their account, otherwise you'd just set it
up on your own. It's now a huge cash cow or anything, but it's something..

They don't have an account yet and It might not be much, but (as with couponing) every little bit helps.

Good morning everyone!!!

Just stopping in....

I keep checking my account to see if my check is in there yet. I used a friend's address, and she is going to deposit it into my account today. The problem is...I don't know when today!!!!

The manager of the apartment that I'm looking at is e-mailing me an application. Then, I have to mail it to her with an application fee. I don't feel comfortable doing this in advance....before I "SEE" the money in my account.

I, also, have a friend checking on one other apartment complex.

This will not be an overnight thing, but...atleast it is progressing.

I am attempting to get as far ahead in my school work as possible.

woe....you say that you live about 15 minutes from a Cabela's. I used to live about 15-20 minute's from a Cabela's, and I'm moving back. I wonder if we're talking about the same Cabela's. I used to shop at Cabela's in Roger's.

I am just soooo happy. I half thought that, due to my credit, I'd be "stuck" here. It sounds like I might just need to pay a higher deposit.

The sad thing is....my mother had a look of excitement on her face at the thought of me being stuck here. Now, she just walks around with her "ugly" face on, making snide remarks about my moving.

This is such a miserable place to be. If you wake-up "happy"....you won't be for long!!!!! I am so excited to get on with "LIFE", as I feel quite "DEAD" right now.

Most of the $$$ I've gotten is from the credit card.
I have the old one that pays 2% on gas and groceries.
They have a new one that does a kickback on restaurants. My wife signed up for that one.
