Oh, and I get 9 gr of fiber. Sadly, the flax or almonds aren't supposed to be counted toward my required 20 gr of veggies for the day.

Yesterday I made a veggie soup with chicken broth, celery, cabbage, onions, and diced tomatoes. I ate 4 cups and it only counted as 11 gr. Sometimes I have to work at getting the requirement to keep me and the scales moving.

Thanks for this useful info...Tooter!!! There are many things to consider, as everyone is different...and everything that works for one...may not work for everyone. It's nice to get tips to try...it's the only way that I know to learn what my body needs (try different things...when things are not working).

Well, got the boys fed...the oldest still won't listen to reason.

Going to do the dishes, make phone calls, and do my running.

Talk with everyone later.

It's the 3rd server I've broken trying to patch.
They are pretty out of date.
I have a plan for the next one since my co-worker's idea didn't work here....

I cancelled my gym membership in Sept.
It was no longer convenient to go there since we moved off campus.
I have been trying to walk.
I at least take the stairs up and down from the 7th floor.

Good Job!! I got out of my "exercise" when the kids and Irelyn moved in. They've been gone since about Thanksgiving, but it's taken this LONG to get back on track with the exercise!

I'll tell ya Woe, I can't wait for Spring, warm weather and fun things to do for exercise.

HEY, is this coming fall the "Home" game for Minnesota? Away game for us?

Tooter suggested I come and see what's going on in here. Everyone sounds so friendly ...... my type of people. I don't think I've ever been in the "playground" ..... because I never thought dieting was play It's more like a job! I'll check that out as well. Wonder if I can get in.

I'll visit and post often - even if I cheat (which I'm not). I did so well in 2006 - and took last year off. Now I'm getting serious about 2008. I'm still afraid to get on the scale - but I promise I will in a weak moment. I'll do it on a day when I'm already in a bad mood because if I wake up in a good mood I don't want to ruin my day. Does that make sense to you?

Sunday...I think...I will be leaving for Minnesota. Get my books on Monday, sign-up on the waiting lists...and make the 10 hour drive back here. Hopefully, I can do this "trip" and make only "good" choices...as far as woe is concerned.

I'm already behind on my eating today. For a change, I don't feel like a fog-head today...so far!!! I'm going to wake the boys up, make bacon and eggs...and get going on the running, phone calls, etc...
Good Job!!! You be careful on your trip. Take your time.

I actually thought about that a couple days ago...
I should check the schedule.
Be great if we could actually meet in person!!

I don't think we played you guys this last year tho, so will who knows if we even play?

It's a bummer not being able to bike.
I ended up just shy of 1900 miles on the bike last season with 54 rides to work.
I think I am eating less though.
I am actually just a couple pounds from where I was over the summer.

Cheryl, I'm so glad you are here. Honey, you don't have to get on the Scales. Just take it one day at a time and one "choice" at a time. The big thing is just starting to get back into the "Groove" again.

Remember, you aren't supposed to be perfect...We are to be "perfected". That means we all will make "poor choices" and we will learn from them. That takes time. No beating yourself up, just moving forward with the next "Better Choice".

Sometimes we even make the same poor choice Over and Over and OVER again until we finally learn from it. BTDT

Pull up a chair and sit down. We would loved to have you here.

I'll have hubby check the Schedual for me.

That WOULD be great if we could finally meet. By that time "Lost and Found" will be back there too! I could meet her as well. *fingers crossed*.

You can tell I didn't stay on top of the games. I didn't realize we didn't play you this year!

Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm far from perfect - but it would be nice.....

Oh I will get on the scale and start a new spreadsheet to track progress. My husband made me get rid of all my big clothes when I lost the 57# in 2006. Now all I have are small clothes. I keep wearing the same larger outfits to church and I think he's starting to notice.. I just told him they are more comfortable (you think?) Tee hee.

I'm waiting for the husband to return home (he's watching over a friend that is dying of cancer so his wife can go grocery shopping). I think he's only got about a month left and is still at home. It truly is sad but my husband enjoys doing it for both of them. Now if I can get him to stop cleaning their house when he's over there. They are both pack rats and every inch of their home is covered with magazines and 'stuff'. It drives him insane because our family calls him "Monk". The last time he was over there he was wiping up their kitchen floor with a rag because of coffee stains and crumbs on their floor. Drives him insane.

1 DAY - TODAY

I'll change my profile now! The last time I started I made it three days and then I dove into some English Toffee.

LOL! I'll stand in front of the English Toffee so you can't drive into it!

Hey, if you have problems with "cravings" or anything...Let us know. We just might be able to help you with something low carb.

Do you have Virgin Coconut Oil? The reason I am asking is that Virgin Coconut oil is a REALLY Good fat that helps with cravings, weight loss (and a host of other things) but you can make Coconut oil bark out of it. It's like a candy bar that has to be kept in the fridge. It kills the chocolate/candy craving.
