The only girlfriend AJ has in the house is his pillow, he hangs out with her alot. Andy gets jealous of the girlfriend and lays on her and really ticks AJ off.

AJ is a yorkie and Andy is half Westie and half yorkie. They are awesome puppies. AJ will be five on valentines day.

Andy is one dirty, old guy...trying to steal AJ's girl!!!

How old is Andy?

I mean...why are they still messing in the house? Thinking of your trip.

Well, they're yorkies, why should they have to go out of their way to go outside, right? They, after all, are far superior to humans.

Andy is better about going outside on his own. I dont think he has the attitude AJ has.

So....you're having a time training them? I've had yorkies before...and training them can be more of a challenge than most other breeds.

One way that works very good...is to have an airline kennel. You know the small ones...you can find them at Wal-Mart. Anyways...they won't go where they would have to lay in it. Sooo, you can put them in one...each with their own...take them outside every 2 hours until they 'get it', and increase their time 'out of the kennel' the better they don't go in the house. The first time that they go inside....they go outside, then, go directly in their kennel...instead of staying 'free'. Our yorkies were completely trained this way...after 2 weeks or so. We, also, put them in their kennels at night, and if no one would be home. They never went in their kennels. In fact...they decided that they liked their 'homes', and would go in their 'rooms' on their own to take naps, etc..! It was kinda' cute...I'd tell Rocky (Short for Rockefeller) to go to his room...and he'd run into his kennel. It was cute.

We all go to work/school during the day so we havent been able to crate train them. They also flew in crates when they arrived and have been tramatized by crates. At this point, its probably too late to try. They have a doggie door so they can go outside on their own.

Someday you will have a yorkie again. Perhaps after you become a nurse you can have time to get one.

Awwww...poor little guys. When I had them, they were bought locally. So, their first experience with a crate was with us.

That's good that you have a doggy door. Is the doggy door in an area that has linoleum, or some non-carpet type flooring? Could you section off an area by the door...if you wanted to go on vacation?

I hope to have a yorkie again, but...I have considered what I want in my future...and travel is one of the things that I'd like to do. So, I have to weigh everything very carefully, as it is hard to travel with pets.

Bye....sweetie!!! And, once again, congrats on getting in to those jeans!!!!

Just so you kow I'm alive and well, I'm checking in TWICE today!

I see we still have poo on the brain ... first people, now poochies. (shaking my head) You girls ...

Pear, the babies are too sweet looking! We like really BIG dogs around here, though. I've had Doberman's and German Sheperds in the past. Our next dog will be a Golden Retriever - that's thanks to having a 9 yo boy and all the Air Bud movies ever made

No news from Hippiegirl today, eh? I do hope things are going well. Tonight must be Tooter's anniversary? Hope you are having a wonderful time, sweetie. Jean, the jeans look great! Girl, you have NO butt!

I'm with you on the ready for snow to be over thing, Click. Going to get up into the 40s here early next week! Things will get nice and muddy I'm starting to think about my veggie garden. I always start planning about now. Can't wait! And I have an incredible asparagus bed this year!

Anyone else grow your own food?

Mom, if you mean my jeans picture, yeah, I know I have no butt. I come from the no butt family. You should see my brothers. No butt.

Hopefully I can exercise a nice round butt.

Strangely, lately, I feel my butt when I walk, doesnt hurt, I just feel it there like the muscles woke up.

Well, hubby is still talking about the new jeans, so I think they are a success.

I just tried the new Callenetics Evolution dvd. It killed me. I couldn't finish... ouch!!! Its torture, trust me!

After I gave up, I put on the WATP dvd and bounced on the trampoline, but I had no energy left.

Now I'm just laying in bed watching food on tv.

Good morning everybody .

I'm going out shopping now - first the food, then taking my husband along to pick a new bed. See you when I get back for coffee.

We were out most of the day shopping. The good thing is that we had lunch out so I won't need to bother cooking tonight, we'll just have something simple. The bad thing is that in walking to the bed shop we found a really good book shop has opened recently. It's only a couple of minutes walk away, but in a direction we don't take very often - actually about ten yards off the route I take several times a week to the supermarket, so dangerously close once you know it's there .

Jean, I hope your days get easier soon.
