Thanks for the links....Tooter!!!

I was just thinkin'......I know that I read somewhere to stay away from one of the artificial sweetners. I can't remember which one it said, but this Wal-mart brand diet Twist-up (like 7-up) contains aspartamine (spelling?). Is this the sweetner, that I recall reading, to stay away from? I've been sipping it in between the water. A 2 litre about every 2-3 days.

The picture of the roll looks very good!!!

I wonder how they'd be with finely shredded marble jack and garlic thrown in?

Cheese garlic roll with your salad anyone?

So are you going to indulge in a diet Pepsi, Click?

Are you excited? Do you think it'll be as good as you remember it?

I treated myself to one, two different times now....it tasted funny at first.....but then, oh soooo good!!!!

I can't treat myself to one...until I finish shoveling...can't get out of the driveway!!! Sixteen plus inches of lake effect crap out there, but it's suppose to be 50 this weekend. That's how it is here....get dumped on...then, it melts!!!!

How was it with the man?

Yah....I've been keeping my eye on you....I know that you were going to meet him!!!!

Well, you've fallen behind in your stalking duties. He didn't make it yet

But it's ok - promise! He's fixed his truck and will be coming in the next couple of days. I'm incredibly excited, nervous, and happy all at the same time. Apparently this particular combination makes you want to throw up alternated with doing jigs? I'm also glad I've been given a few days extra to clean my house. I was seriously freaking out yesterday! I am SUCH a slob, and the kids are with their dad for Christmas vacation, so I still have the mess left from them plus what I've contributed. REALLY BAD! But, I've explained to him just how messy I am (as my mom would say "with an exclamation point?). Yes, I've explained it with an explanation point! And he seems ok with that.

Ok, I'm rambling again. And gushing.

I'm happy for you...that you are excited. I know that this was a huge step for you...allowing another guy to enter your personal space.

Just start in one room, take a timer, set it...and try to beat the time!!! That's what I did sometimes...and once that one room is spottless...you'll like how much better it feels to be in there...and it will make you want to finish the rest!!! Do the timer thing in each room!!! I know that you can do it.

Messiness is just another form of keeping people away from us when we're hurting...kinda' like some people carry extra weight for this same reason...to keep people away!!!

Show your kids how to live a totally healthy life...woe, and environment. I have faith in you sweetie!!!

I actually do use the timer method. I do 15 minutes at a time per Flylady.

I started doing the Flylady system about 6 months ago or so. It's a really great program. One funny thing they have about when your house is a mess - they call it CHAOS:

Can't
Have
Anyone
Over
Syndrome.

And aint that the truth?

I go through ups and downs with this, but it's something I've been diligently, and on-and-off successfully working on. Right now, I haven't been doing my routines and my house has kind of fallen apart. I had some pretty serious financial and emotional setbacks a few months ago, and my house is definitely reflecting that. I agree, though, that the two go hand-in-hand. Sometimes it's hard to tell if my house is messy because my life is a shambles, or if my life is a shambles because my house is messy. Fake it until you make it is probably very apt in this situation, as a clean house is much less taxing on the brain.

Don't worry, though. My kids and I have clean clothes, there isn't any mold growing anywhere, and I'm very sanitary with my cooking habits, etc. I just tend to let things get messy and cluttered and REALLY hate doing the dishes. So they usually wait a few days. Note to self: next home absolutely MUST have a dishwasher!!!

There's a Flylady group here at LCF. I haven't been participating lately , but I do subscribe every week! That's gotta count for something, right?

Are you aloud on the playground yet? I'm not sure what the requirements are. Tooter, do you remember? You should have access soon - you've been here for over a year now.

I'm stumped...and don't know what to do!!!

My Mom got 2 turkey breast rolls. I thought: "Good...plain old turkey!", but it's not!!! One has herb seasoning, and one is cajin (spelling?). They both have 3 gr. of carbs/serving, but the herb one has a trace amount of sugar.
