Tooter, I don't have to tell you what the song lyrics did to me. Perhaps it is good and cathartic to get it all out early and not hold on to the grief for tomorrow.

Thank you for supporting and being here for me during this emotional time, Tooter, Click and Hippiegirl. I appreciate it more than you know.

What makes me crabby is the way my husband talks to people trying to sell stuff on the phone. Drives me insane. He always says "take me off your list - not interested." These poor people are just trying to make a living - no need to be rude.

What makes me sick is when I eat carbs .... (literally)

Yah!!!! Why is that?

Did we always feel that crappy before when eating carbs, and were just used to feeling crappy, or do our bodies become more sensitive to them?

I've been thinking about it a lot the last few months; ever since I started posting in my Support Unlimited group. For me, it's been very empowering to let myself "hang out" and have it be received and responded to so compassionately. I think that all, or most, of us humans feel so alone. The magic of this kind of group is that we all realize we're not alone.

Someone on this board has in their siggy a quote that really made me think: "Every person has a secret that would just break your heart". It's very true - we're all struggling with different issues, and it feels good to have a place to admit it. I also think it's very therepeautic to offer support to others - it builds up our souls in a way that we don't get an opportunity to do in our every day lives. At least a lot of us don't, anyway.
My Goodness...You go from being a smart ass to "Deep and Profound" in a matter of seconds!! That's what I love about you. You keep me on my toes and keep me Guessing. I loved your post.

Ummmm......guess what my dear old "dad" just "shared" with me!!!! (After nearly 2 months of changing my woe!!! I think that he looks for ways to irritate people!!!) He told me that their OLD spring scale is wrong.

He said that it is 6 pounds heavy...meaning it says that you are 6 pounds heavier than the Doctor's scale says you are. He always comes right home...after being to the doctor's, and adjusts the scale to the reading he got at the Doctor's Office...and I've been putting it back on "0".

I guess that I need to find my digital scale, buy a new lithium battery, and see what it says.

EXCUSE ME!! Life doesn't begin at Goal, missy. Life is NOW. Right NOW and Right NOW you are thinner and healthier then you were just a few months ago.

Seriously, remember my little "talk" to you today? The "changes" that takes place? Well, one of the biggest changes is living in the NOW. I'm not kidding. If you wait until goal, guess what? You will never do those things THEN, if you haven't at least "started" doing them now. Your Goal should not be to be at Goal by summer...Your goal should be to ENJOY right now and this summer better then you ever have before.

Hey, I'm the girl who would NEVER wear shorts. Even when I was a teen and had a really nice body. I was too insecure and I felt too "Pale". Last year? I wore shorts all summer long. EVERY day and I wore a bathing suit all the time at the lake and even a bikini (which you saw a pic of). Goal is not that "magical" thing you wait for in the distance future. Like I said, If you can't do it Now, you won't do it then. That's why there has to be other Mini goals, besides what the scale says. Goals for us to come out of our shells and Dare to do the Things we only dreamed of. Goals to throw out excuses and not expect to be "Perfect" ...but rather...to be "Perfected" which is the state of constantly learning and growing...and along the way, we WILL make mistakes but that's also a part of learning.

You have been through so much, your goal this summer should be...I am going to enjoy this life and "right now" and savor every moment. I'm going to do things that I was either too scared, insecure to do.

Think of how many things we all have missed out on in our lives? Pictures of us, family outings, swimming... Lots of fun stuff. Our goals should also be to never let that stuff steal those moments ever again. To get comfortable in our own skin "right now"...because if we don't start doing that now, what makes you think it will magically happen when the scale hits that "Goal" number?

There is a great saying. "Whever ever you go, there you are". You can get to goal...but who will you be when you get there?

Ladies, We have alot of living and sharing to do. Life doesn't begin at Goal. Life is Now. We are going to be the best we can be, right now and enjoy the "Journey" and learn and grow as we go.

I DARE you to do something now, that you wouldn't do before because of "excuses" In your head.

Last year was a HUGE year for me. There were so many things that I did for the very "first" time. I drove a Truck and pulled a boat behind it on Mountain roads! That's something I would have been too scared to do years ago. Lots of other things.

Guess what? The only thing that limits us...Is US.

So, you don't have a clue as to how much you have actually lost? Meaning...it could be more weight that you have actually lost? Am I getting this right?

Tooter!!!!

I thought that Ixtapacheryl was referring to weight goals by summer. That's why I posted what I did.

I suppose that she could've meant any kind of goals.

I am always doing/saying things that I never would've before...and it irritates controling men....like my Dad. My Mom even refers too my attitude as me being a "feminist". Why???? Because I don't want some idiot bossing me around, putting me down, or having much to do with any part of my life....just to say that I am married. I can manage on my own!!!!

That's why they make XXX shops!!!!! (just kidding!!!)

Maybe!!!!!

Guess what....

I was at the store after work and thought, what the heck, I'll try on some size 18's for kicks. I couldn't find any. I picked up a size 16 and tryed it on. It fit! It was comfortable. It was too tight through my hips and thighs and too lose below my knees, but still. I didnt get them because the cut was all wrong, but I did take some pics.

Wow, I havent had a size 16 in years and years.
