Jean, would you be willing to share your recipe for yogurt and the carb info? I'm having a craving for fresh yogurt and strawberries.

Yes, if you come over to finish my room, I will cook any thing you want that is legal and within reason...

I have scrubbed the walls and furniture on one side of the room and vacuumed, so I'm half done. I'm having Nick and Jared bring up my elliptical so I can exercise in my room.

Click, the commissary is where military people shop for groceries at a discount. It is located on the Marine Base. Any one can go in but only those with military ID cards can purchase.

OK, did I leave out anything?

Oh, yes, they are a lot of fun. Some of the venders are local growers and quite entertaining.

Yes, it's downstairs and I will get it for you and post it when I get back on. Watch out, though, it is sinful. I rather eat it than ice cream.

Is "Know the Cause" geared towards any type of sickness? I just feel so much better eating the Atkins way, I know it must be healthy in so many ways.
I'm so sorry to hear about your dad ..... cancer is just a horrible disease.

Go to the site and check to see if you can get the tv show in your area. I know it's on here M-F at 10:00AM and 10:30. He also talked not only about carbs/sugar but fungus. He is against mushrooms (fungus) and nuts. His book is fantastic. My DH's doctor verified that cancer cells feed off of glucose. Also definitely check out The Douglass Report. I just subscribed to it - I think it was like $30 for the year. OMG the information is unbelievable. You should read what they say about Statins (cholesterol lowering drugs). Very few people are helped by those drugs. I get so fed up watching all those tv commercials on drugs and their side effects. It's the drug cartel at work.

Hey, no guilt and no excuses. I just don't want you beating yourself up. You'll know when you are "ready". We aren't going anywhere. In the mean time, we are still here for you for any kind of support you need.

God Bless you and DH for helping your friends out. I agree, take benadryl or something, before you go to their house.

You also got me intrested in this "Doug Kaufman". I did a little reading about him with a Thread you started in the Main room. I think it was on hair loss. Anyways, I will be reading more and going to his site. Thank, Cheryl.
Oh Tooter ..... thank you!!! Our friend's wife called this afternoon and said Joe is still hanging in there - smiling and talking occasionally. I can't remember if I told you - but when the Priest was there giving him the Last Rites - and was going to hear his confession - Joe asked for ice cream while the Priest was anointing him.... Teehee.

Definitely check him out and his website and do a search to see if you can get him in your area. Another thing I read that if you use 'sea salt' don't buy the kind that is white - get the kind that is grey in color. The white kind has been processed.

OK gals - on day 2 of my WOE with no cheats.... Something clicked in my brain two days ago and I told myself to stop playing the victim. So many other people have it worse off than I do. I'm healthy - no problems that I know of so get serious!

You are all so wonderful and it's nice to come here to calm down from the Fascination thread. That entire mess gets my blood boiling - but they are fighting a good fight.

Have a great evening everyone....

Oh one more thing - have any of you tried Cleo's rolls?

Boy...Jean....you sound like you are energized!!!! Doesn't that feel good?

So, do you have an ID card that they allow you to use? Do they have a pretty good selection of food? Is the discount substantial?

Can't you think of some way that you ALL can go? It wouldn't be as fun going by yourself, and staying home wouldn't be fair to the girls...or to the two of you!!!

I'm sorry!!! Now you can see if you get any symptoms tomorrow (stuffy nose, allergies, etc.) I LOVE mushrooms - especially portabellas on the grill.

I just read on the main forum all the raves the cleo rolls are receiving. Great substitute for bread. You can even use them for mini pizzas, etc. I was thinking it would be great to make them with dried onions like the onion rolls and put some ham/swiss cheese on them and put them under the broiler. Yum yum!

I was thinking that it would be nice to have SOMETHING that resembled bread.

I was a bread freak!!!! (Especially GOOD breads)

Couldn't you, also, put garlic and fancy shredded cheese in the mixture, and have those garlic cheese rolls like Red Lobster?

Gosh....a nice, juicy, cheesey, bacony, hamburger (fried in butter) with mayo.....and on a bun too!!!! By now...it would feel as though I was cheating!!! (Things are starting to get a little boring....and my weight loss happens in spurts )

Good Morning...Tooter!!!!

I'm happy that you had a good weekend!!!!

There's just one problem......when you're gone it feels like a special person from MY family is missing. I missed you! Can I be a part of your REAL family? Then, I wouldn't miss so much...and you could teach me things too!!!

By the way...that's good that your intuition was correct about the rugs. Sensitive dogs...aren't they?

Did you see that, after 70 some years, the bulldog is now back in the top 10 dog list again? They took number 10, and pushed the miniature snauwzter(Don't now how to spell this..) out of the top ten, to number 11. When I saw this, I thought of you!!! I guess that the celebrities having them re-kindled an interest in them. Due to the need to artificially inseminating, and most needing to be birthed by Cesarean (head size), they said that many are selling for in the thousands.
