Hey everyone!!!!

I just did one of my assignments for my phy-ed/health class.

We had to give an introduction under the "Discussion" tab, and talk about ourselves---say what is unique about us, and I will show you parts of what I said:

Another thing that makes me unique will probably raise some eyebrows here....but....I have taken on a new way of eating. I have suffered with sleep apnea...which has contributed to my carbohydrate addiction. Since November 24, I started eating no more than 20 grams of low glycemic carbs a day, plenty of protein, and plenty of healthy FAT!!!!! Yes, I said the word "fat". I have lost 16 pounds...since November 24....without exercise. So, I am different from the norm....people who follow the "normal" food pyramid.

I am hoping to get through the Nursing Program here at NHCC. However, if not accepted, I will be moving on to something else...I don't know what yet, as I have always wanted to be a nurse. I will have an A.A. degree after this semester.

I look forward to this class, as it will help me to incorporate the exercise into my new lifestyle....and hopefully, it will become part of my everyday life for good, as I have big plans for a healthier life. I want to be more fit at 50 than I was at 20...and I know that I can do it.

What do you think the instructor will say about that?

Guys, Having internet problems. A Tech guy is coming this afternoon to look at everything. Couldn't get on at all last night, and today? Just now, but who knows how long it will last.

If I am MIA, it's for this reason.

Yes, and it was shocking...How much I got done around the house this morning!!

Oh, the freaking baking? I'm up 2 lbs!

So, I have been really strict today. Had my Mashed eggs with a big hunk of butter for breakfast. Steak Salad for lunch.

I'm not sure on dinner.

Maybe my trusty Hamburger with mayo wrapped in lettuce.

Besides taking an afternoon kip.....what did you suggest for extreme tiredness? More fat, or more healthy carbs? I don't remember.

I went into work this morning. It was slippery. I made it. So glad I shoveled and salted a path down to the cars. When I got to work, I ABS'd it right into my parking spot.

Kip is dutch for chicken. Click, I hope you enjoyed your afternoon chicken.

I don't know where Tooter, and Jean are???????

Tooter is probably exercising, or re-painting something.....she's such a bundle of energy. I can't wait to have that back...and not just in spurts, but daily.

Jean........well...........let's just say.......she was probably on the phone late....anticipating the hot , passionate , love she's going to get soon!!! (Shew!!! That was a workout!!!! )
Click, you really make my day, I can't wait to get here to see what you are up to next!

As a matter of fact I just got off the phone with my . I was out walking when he called so when I called him back, he told me not to get in too good of shape because I might be too much for him... like that'll be the day!

He is so excited about my change of life style and my best supporter (aside from this group, of course).

I haven't finished reading all of the posts yet, so you'll see more of me.

Click, the last time he was here he brought me the most beautiful nightgown and robe and it was a large, which of course was too small.

He had called my daughter to make sure he got the right size and she just told him to get a large. Of course I was wearing a 1X-2X but she didn't know those sizes.

I haven't had the nerve to try it on yet but maybe by the time he gets here I will be able to wear it.

Pear thinks that Jean needs to move to Spokane where its sunny.
Are you kidding, Pear, I just got back from a nice long walk in 70 degree weather and he told me it got down to 5 degrees there last night with a high expected of low 20's. No, thank you!

I DID only bake low carb things, but you do have to "Watch" how much you eat of them. They Ain't "Free For Alls". I really didn't eat a meal of all that stuff, but I happen to be a "Taster" when I cook. I'll be back down in a day or two.
