I dont think it was the ACV since I took it all last week and not the last couple days (forgot it at work). I didnt have dinner on saturday since we ate out at Chilis (bunless burger) and I was too high on carbs to eat. Yesterday we went hiking and I lost another 1.4lbs to 212.4

Yes, definately, I think I can attribute it to the in-laws being gone.

My parents live a few miles out outside a small town, and I love being able to just walk out of the house into the fields when I'm there - but I don't like having to get the car out any time you need a pint of milk. If only we could find a place with rural beauty and tranquility, and lots of shops . Oh, and I like having a choice of restaurants within walking distance, too .
This is my dream too. If we move back to Holland this is how we would live - most definately. Right now, we live between 2 tiny towns and have to go to the bigger towns to get the good stuff. Oh, and I commute 45 minutes each way.

You know, hiking for the first time in decades. I did better than I thought I would. We really enjoyed it. When I used to hike, I would have no endurance. I would be huffing and puffing. Yesterday, I felt like I could keep going on and on.

Hubby (not on low carb) burned through his glucose pretty quickly. We had the same breakfast that morning. I was not hungry, and he was starving after about an hour. I had a couple of beef jerky sticks even though I was not hungry and he had a granola bar and about five jerky sticks and was still really hungry.

He got winded before I did.

Even so, we're pretty well matched as far as ability goes. I'm looking forward to doing more hikes with him. It was really rejuvenating, being out in the woods where it is peaceful. It was nice being away from everything.

Unfortunately, it is still winter, so we dont know when the next hike will be. Yesterday was gorgeous, a sunny day on a weekend day is so very unusual around here.

Pear, the hiking sounds lovely - and it's so good to be able to enjoy the activity, isn't it? I think we need to do more of that sort of thing at the weekend, then I wouldn't feel the lack of green spaces in town so much.

We learned some things from the hike, like those nalgene bottles are a pain, you either carry them or clip them, if you clip them they bang around on your legs, if you carry them then you're carrying them and your hands arent free. Hydration packs, much better. Also, having a map is really nice. Wish we had one. We just had a description of the trail.

I was finally down to 213.8 this morning. WOOHOO!
Your hike sounds like it was annoying, but yet...refreshing. I'm glad that you got out and enjoyed nature. I find Nature to be very theraputic.

I'm so happy for your loss. Do you think that the lack of your ice cream bars helped?

For the scale going down again....

Real Funny!!!!

Well...today...I took the oldest to his first day at college. We had to go to the Bursar's office, get his student loan check, go to the bookstore ((((((((((($548...just for the books)))))))))))). Now, he should know what to do next semester...without his Mommy helping him with everything. I showed him everything once....hopefully, he was paying attention.

My three classes, also, begin today. I'm just not psyched-up about it this semester for some reason???? Hopefully, that changes.

Yah.....Maybe, the mother-in-law snuck some bread crumbs in the meatballs.

Or....maybe, it was the ice cream bars?!!!

Whatever it was.....it's nice that it is gone!!!!

Well....I was just say'n.....

People that do not understand....think....a few bread crumbs wouldn't hurt anyone.....she'll never know!!! (That's what I think happened. I think that she snuck items in on the food that you ate....the salad was probably just fine...unless...you don't know what was in the dressing.) I always either mix mayo with splenda for my dressing, or have olive oil and vinegar.

You've had a busy day. I'm sure he can figure out what to do next semester. At least he has a good idea, now.

I'm sure your not psyched, because you just want to move on and MOVE!!
