My ears have been burning ... and my mailbox has been hit!

It is always a good feeling to realize that people actually remember your name

Yes, I'm all involved in the Bring Down Kimmer stuff. That woman really does need to be stopped. And, when I get moving fast a furious on things involved with that behind the scenes then I really do get sucked into a vortex

So, how ya'll doing? I see you've been quite chatty, so there is NO WAY I'm going to be able to read the long version. I do see that Click lost weight! YIPEE! Good job!

And I see that Hippie gets to get groceries ... what state are you in again? Montana?

Jean, how ya doing?

I sure hope I haven't missed anyone ....

OH! Tooter! How could I miss you?!

I'm doing good. Really. Trying to find the right balance of carbs so that I don't trigger cravings. I'm sure if someone were to look at my WW tracking log they'd at the % of fat in my diet

Anyway, everyone!

Plain meats

Plenty of Fat (CO)
Veggies
Half your weight in ounces of water

No treats
No mixed-up meats (just plain meat)
Less cheese

Maybe, this might help?
Pear....

I hope that you are not upset with me for suggesting this. I am new to this woe, and don't no anymore than you, but this is what I would do. (I would be afraid of the store bought treats!!! Maybe, if you could make some homemade treats like Jean....then, you'd know exactly what is in them.)

Just make sure that the majority of your carbs comes from lowglycemic (spelling?) veggies, as I was hardly eating any...and I wasn't losing anything either. I up'd my veggies, and finally....a whoosh!!!

This is what has worked for me....you could be different.

Maybe...everything you are doing is great...and your cells are hanging on to the water in place of the fat that they have lost. If this is the case...you will experience a whoosh soon!!!

I was thinking of you yesterday and when I mentioned that you were missing, today, Lost and Found got right on it. Good work, Click!

Yes, Evil needs to be brought down! What is the latest on that subject?

I am plugging away and have good stats this week.

So the fat is working for you, great! The balance of our food does take dedication to make sure we get it right. I can't wait to be where Tooter is so I can just relax and know I understand my body and do the right things automatically.

Thanks for stopping by and don't stay away so long, OK?

Well....

I have to run to the market, and pick my son up from school.

So far today:

ACV/water
vitamins
CO

3 romaine lettuce leafs (Used as wraps)
Homemade chicken salad:
(chicken, plenty of hellman's, little green onion, celery, and hard boiled eggs)---
unknown quantity (3 large glops off of a large spoon!!!)...I hate measuring...therefore, I hardly do!!!!

Snack: BBQ pork rinds

Small amount of diet pepsi

Anticipated supper:

Large salad (lettuce, tomato, cukes, hard boiled egg)
Diced chicken on salad
Dressing: mayo and splenda

How's this look? Maybe....add some crumbled bacon to the salad? That sounds good!!!!

Talk to everyone later this afternoon!!!

I wonder if the ice cream bars could be sneaking something wrong in them....like the atkin's bars did to you? (I've never had any to tell you what they do to me!!! )
Low carb ice cream makes me gain weigiht. Seriously. I'll be up a pound or 2 the next day. Of coarse, I don't have it very often for this very reason...and the next day (without having it) my weight seems to go back to normal.

No, no, I'm not upset at all. I was working so I couldn't post.

I like hearing suggestions.

Maybe I should make a batch of that hamburger cabbage thingy you make. What is the recipe?

I really dont like vegetables, but can tolerate certain ones like cabbage, leaks, salad, onions, bell peppers, salsa (ok - I LOVE salsa). I have aquired a taste for cauliflower as long as its in mock mashed taters.

I need really yummy recipes with the allowed veggies.

MomtoEli, I'd like to hear the latest too. Last time I was in the fascination thread, people were fighting. I resolved to stay out of there, it was getting to be too much for me.

Hmmm, I've been eating it all along and have lost weight eating it in the past. Y'all have convinced me to drop them for awhile and see how it goes.

Lost and Found, Click, Ms. Barking Spider,

Have I told you lately how proud I am of you? You have really hung in there when the going got tough. You desired to learn and make it work. That is a great characteristic and it will help you succeed in all that you take on, whether it be school or a change of life style.

You Go Girl!!!

Cabbage Peirogi Filling

Brown: 1 1/2 pound of burger, and diced onion

Strain

Dump back in pan and add one small, firm, shredded green head of cabbage

Pour in a half glass (8 ounces or so) of water

Cover

Simmer until cabbage is tender (water should be gone!!!!)

Add: 1 stick of butter, garlic salt, and pepper

For the rest of the family...you could make lazy peirogis. Make some egg noodles on the side, add they can mix them in the meat/cabbage mixture...just might need some more butter. The buttery the better.

It's worth a shot. Like I said before, nothing seems to be set in Stone...It might have been OK then, and isn't now.

I actually have some blue sky here (partly cloudy) and this morning when I unlocked the office doors it was light outside.

I'm starting to get spring fever.

I have plants outside that actually THINK it is spring. They are popping out. It's starting to get colder here, now. I just know we are going to get slammed and slammed hard later this month, next month...and FOR SURE in March.
