Tooter, I sure wish you live close enough to send over a care package.

The sounds of your menus 'almost' make me want to cook.

Jean, just make quick foods that are easy to clean up.

You could eat the "crack Slaw" for a meal.

All it is....Is ground hamburger (or sausage) a package of Cole slaw mix, chopped green onion, soy sauce and splenda to taste. Almost like the insides of an egg roll.

Stir fries are fast, easy and very healthy. Only one pan dirtied, too. Fish? Very easy. Hey...Use aluminum foil and you won't have any pans or anything to clean.

A little George Foreman Grill would be perfect for you. All you do to clean up, is use a damp paper towel (while it's still warm) to wipe it down. Aspargus comes out wonderful in this.

Thanks for the advice, Tooter. I just never know when I am going to be home and so much food ruins before I cook it. I even let things freezer burn before I prepare them.

There is a Japanese fast food near me that makes the best and most healthy stir-fries. I am eating one right now.

Ewwwuu! I guess you would know for sure or your hubby might tell you!

David said they had snow so thick you couldn't see across the street and 2 inches of hail this weekend.

Guess who is coming to see me in a few weeks!

I don't know about "Deserve", but everyone is being very kind. That was a huge step for me to post those pics. But, Hey...If I going to post about Making changes and Choices...I have to practice what I preach. lol

Now, I have to work on not being so camera shy, but at least that was the first step.

When I was about 20 I had several friends who were keen photographers and wanted to photograph anybody within range. At first I hated it, but I gradually got used to it, and eventually even started to feel vaguely offended if anybody had a camera in my vicinity and didn't use their entire roll of film taking pictures of me. Of course, that was ages ago and I'm not used to it any more and have reverted to hating having my photo taken . But you really can get used to it if you practise .

Good Morning!

Just made a fresh pot of coffee. Anyone need a cup?

Well, this morning I will be doing some free weights. I'm just a little "Sore" but it's not bad at all.

Hubby and I are getting excited about getting the boat back in the lake. We are starting to get things ready. We have a little House boat. It's so cute, it looks like a little Tug Boat. I think we will also put our other boat (the bayliner) up for sale this year. We had kept it (after buying the house boat last summer) because we thought the kids might want to use it for Water Skiing. That didn't happen. They would much rather use the Jet skis we have.

I'll see if I can find a pic of our boat to show ya.

Ok, here is a picture we took right before we bought the boat.

I can't WAIT to get back on that boat. Hubby and I have had so much fun and it's so relaxing.

You look great, btw, in your pictures. I hated getting my picture taken too at my high weight, now that I'm down some, I dont mind it so much. I like seeing my progress. I even made Meghan take my picture last Saturday while we were waiting at the airport.

I hope you can get over your shyness. Everyone wants to see how wonderful you look.

Tooter, you look great.

I love the boat and would enjoy the weekend get-aways too.

Pear, I also enjoy the pictures that you share, keep it up, girls!

Yes, I'm still doing low carb but haven't been losing anything. Guess I'll have to start counting everything I eat again and eating more fat, I think that is what has stalled me.

Morning gals:

I think it is going to be sunny today. We bought a new mower last night since our last one is on its deathbed. I put moss-out on the lawn and it rained last night so most of the moss is dead. The next couple nights and saturday we will be working to mow and clean up the yard. Hopefully we will finish early on saturday so we can relax on the deck. It is supposed to be in the upper 60's and sunny, that is for the first time in over six months.

Jean, maybe you can go on a meat and egg fast to jump start your losing again and keep the carbs on the down low. I remember you saying that you were having 25-30/day before and it was going slow then. That would totally stall me. Maybe Tooter has more ideas.

Hoping Hippie and Click are ok...

Tooter, your boat looks gorgeous. I get horribly sea sick, but I think I'd be able to manage a lake on a calm day . Is the lake far from where you live?

I've just seen in the Fascination thread that Cheryl has been away for a while because her husband had a mild stroke. She said he's recovering, but having a lot of pain . Cheryl, if you drop by this way, I hope he makes a good recovery, and that you're able to look after yourself, not just him .

The lake is about 45 minutes away from us. The only time I get sea sick is when I'm out on the ocean and can no longer see land. The lake is totally different and you don't go fast on a little houseboat like that. lol You just slowly cruise along, until you find a place you want to Moor. If we want to go fast, we have Jet skis for that. I also LOVE those. So much fun.
