Well...

I still have a lot of school work to get done before sunday night...but I'm getting to it. Lots of papers are due at mid-term.

I've been working very hard...it is very "physical" work. And the hours (time of the day) kind of stink.

I haven't heard anything good, or bad, from the places that I had interviewed at. Sooooo...I don't know what to think???? Hopefully, the CNA thing works out, as there are always openings for them, and some places give sign-on bonuses.

Sorry that I've been gone for the last couple of days. It seems that I only get done what "NEEDS" to get done on Wed., Thur., and Fridays...because of the strange working hours that I keep.

The other day...I was carrying...I think that it was Monday...at stack of things in front of me...I was going to the car. Anyways...I thought that I was on the last step...on one of the flights of stairs...but I wasn't. So, I went down. I twisted my ankle real good, hurt my hip, and my back. When I stood up...my ankle did the sideways thing...where it feels like your leg bone slipped off of your ankle...and I went down the whole entire next flight of stairs. Sooooo, I've been resting when not working. I was called a tough woman when the supervisor noticed how swollen my ankle was, and couldn't believe that I had been working on it all night long. I just try to ignore the pain, but then, when I get home, and get to bed...as I lay there...all I can feel is the pain...everywhere. So, it's tough to get any rest lately.

This darn website today....

I'll have to try this...when I get some more CO.

I'm out of the "normal" routine of things...just barely hanging on, but hanging on.

You know Tooter....I don't think of myself as a "tough woman"...because I still sit down and cry on occassion. But....with everything that I am constantly up against...I guess that I had to become "tough"...or I never would've endured my life. (I used to cry if someone looked at me wrong.)

To be honest...I don't know how I've maintained nearly a full load of college courses this semester...let alone kept "A's" in all of them? It seems that I am constantly getting my work done by the skin of my teeth. That is just not "me". I used to be ahead with my schoolwork all of the time...but since I moved...I just seem to put everything off????

Morning gals:

Click, I'm glad to see you back. Are you signed up for the CNA exam on the 29th? I hope that goes really well for you. Is your new apartment starting to feel like home?

Nothing new to report here. This was my third morning oil pulling and I've worked up to 15 minutes. I havent noticed any difference in the color of my teeth, and I still have the sore tooth in the back of my mouth. Wonder if coconut oil would work better. I'm using sesame oil.

Hello...Pear!!!!

I had to sign-up for the class on the following weekend, as by the time that I could pay for the test...the 29th was filled up. Plus, I will need to go and get the book to study from. That will give me an extra week...which is probably good...since I am bogged down with school things right now.

My place doesn't feel like home yet, but it does more so than a week ago. It will get better, as I finish up around here.

I think that coconut oil would help your sore tooth. I use either that, or castor oil.

I hope that you guys know....that even when I'm not "here"...I think about you!!!!

Especially at times when I'm being naughty. Like yesterday!!!! Someone brought me over 2 Sammies...and I thought of all of you while I ate them. I think that I worked them off last night though...a double at the clinic..., and that was all I ate all day long.

I made the taco meat with the spices that Tooter mentioned, and it worked out fine.

Another inexpensive thing to have around...I haven't made since being here...pierogi filling. I'll have to make some of that up in the near future.

Well........

It seems as though MS. TOOTER has disappeared.....quite the magician!!!!!

*slapping her where it counts...and running*

So, I'm going to eat some taco salad, and get this day started. It's going to be a long one. I start work at the clinic at 8pm, and then go directly from there to the vet. Sooooo, it's going to be another late one!!!

Honestly? It tastes what you would imagine Motor Oil tastes like. I kid you not!!

Oh, and YES...With the sore in your mouth, do your pulling with CO oil. Let's not forget the anti-viral and anti-bacteria properties in Coconut oil. It will make a world of difference.

Step it up, too. Don't just "pull" once a day. If you are sick or have a sore, do it about 3 times a day.

LMAO!! Well, I have never seen it like that, but it does represent the taste better!

Castor oil can be found in the laxative Section of a drug store or store. People sometimes use it as a laxative or "Castor Oil" packs. Where you put a cloth full of it on a part of your body to draw out sickness.

It really is an OLD TIME remedy. Sometimes it's hard to find it. I can only find it at the Super wal-mart or at a Health food store.
