Tonight's dinner was musakhan (I think it's OK to link there, because they're not selling anything). I left out the bread, and cooked it all in the pan, so it was rather easier than the original version, and I used mainly chicken legs, because we ate the breasts with mozzarella, paprika and pomegranate earlier in the week. Then I decided I wanted some couscous with it which blew away my plans for not eating wheat but, because portion control is easier, still ended up better than using the bread in the original recipe. My husband was very enthusiastic: he loved the lemony-sumac flavoured sauce. He isn't a great fan of either dark chicken meat or lots of cooked onions, so to get him requesting that this recipe be added to the list of regulars was quite a feat!

We could call it...

Yoga isn't just Yogurt. Then we can have you talk and cook while doing the different Yoga positions.

Somehow, I don't think either the yoga or the cooking would benefit . But then, most food TV is more about entertainment than it is about helping people to cook, so maybe...

Good morning, everybody . I'm just putting the coffee on. L&F, what do you drink?

After I had wheat for dinner last night, I felt better generally - less tired and depressed, but my knee started aching soon afterwards, when I hadn't noticed it for a few days . So I think that a few extra carbs (I came in at about 50 for the day) helps with mood, but it would be better not to get them from wheat. So I'm still mostly staying of the wheat, but not trying to keep my carbs at Induction levels.

Hope you're all enjoying the weekend.

Ah, well - lesson learned. I'm sure this all happened for a reason, right? I could have lived for months on the money I put into the dang business, though. It's hard not to have regrets. It did make back what I had put into it, but not much beyond that. I'm hoping I can sell some of what's left over on ebay. I have zero storage, though - so it's definitely going to clutter up my house for a little while!
He's such a _ _ _ _ _ _!!!!!!! (You can put any word that fits...but mine was "VERY" naughty...just like him!!!!!)

Maybe, I should kill him...with my gas of course!!!!

Diet Pepsi, or water, or tea...cold tea that is!!! I don't know why, but I can't drink "hot" beverages. Even, when I was a kid...my "Hot" chocolate had to be "Warm" chocolate. Probably because I'm not a sipper. I guzzle everything....kinda like everything else in my life. Grab hold, take it all in, and get it done!!!

Ailuros...why don't you get your extra carbs from some of your brownies?

Or buy yourself some chocolate....

Or, maybe....drink more wine....

How about some chips?

On a more serious note...
Maybe, just up your carbs every other day? Maybe, then, you'll have the benefits of both worlds?

Today is another busy day, as I have to go clean the vet, finish my homework (I always set my goals too high...I didn't get it all done yesterday. So, I need to finish it today.), continue to unpack, and get situated around here.

What's everyone else up to?

I know what Jean is up to....

Also, since I didn't get the collection job, and I haven't heard back from the other places that I've applied at, I must sit down with the newspaper, and set my plan for tomorrow. I hate job hunting!!!!

I can't wait to see if I can become a CNA!!!!! That will change alot of things, as some places even have tuition reimbursemnt, sign-on bonuses, etc...
