I hope you feel better soon. Induction flu? Could be. Give yourself some time for your body to get back "In line".

The Sun is finally shinning here. I think I'm going to take advantage of it and scrub the carpets. I'll check back later too.

I'm so glad you are here!!!!

I started at a very young age (9) and I think it won't be long until I am offically in Menopause.

Last year I only had 2 Toms. Hey, I'm not complaining.

I know...I know...I said I had to go, but...

It was weird. Last year I had TOM on the Day that Irelyn was born (How weird is THAT) and at Christmas.

The year before I had a Tom that lasted 2 weeks and I thought I was going to bleed to death. It seemed like I had to "Change" every hour or so. Found out that, that was normal for perimenopause. Glad I haven't had that again. It was exhausting.

I think I was 12. About the same age as most of my friends when they started. I haven't actually missed any yet, though there have been a couple of 40-day cycles. So when I talk about "month" it's fairly approximate: somewhere between three weeks and six . The problem is not so much the TOM itself, but that the PMS seems to occupy most of the time in between .

I must be "Ahead" of you. That's what it was like the year before last, for me.

That's why I also think It won't be long, before I will be in "Menopause". I have no PMS symptoms at all. nada, nothing. (Thank you God) lol

I was always like CLockwork, since I started at 9. It was every 30 days. After my last son was born, I had a "Tubal" and it changed to every 23 days (I was not happy about that) and the PMS was almost unbearable.

That offers me some hope. When the disruptions started, I thought, "this is it." Two years later, and nothing much has changed, except that I spend more time being tired and depressed. I was starting to think this stage could last forever .

Was a leap into a detailed discussion of our menstrual cycles the warm welcome you had in mind, Tooter ? I hope you feel like one of our little band now, Mamamo. We don't talk about this stuff with just anybody .

Oh, Mamamo fits right in, Trust me. She wouldn't feel welcome, any other way!!! LMAO

I remember a discussion with her, on how I had the Roadmap of Pennsylvania on my stomach (from Stretch marks).

Yeah, I don't even think "Click" will be able to Shock her with her poop and fart talk.

Oh, BTW, Mamamo...."Click" is Lostandfound. We lovingly call her "Click" because she told the story of how she needed help with her computer and asked her son to help her with something. He told her to "Right Click" something and she "Wrote" Click!!! Get it, "Write Click"!! So, it's "Click" ever since.

Mamamo, tell us a little about yourself... Have you done low carb before? How do you know Tooter? What part of the country are you from? Kids? Other half?

You have the same starting weight as I did, although I lost the first ten on Kimkins (actually lost more but that is what I kept off).

Pear, I'm laughing at your AV. Between the "Female Talk" on here and the look on "Pear's" face with all those flowers behind it. You look like a commercial for The "Freshness" of a Feminine hygiene product!! ROFLMAO

Ok, I'll stop. I need to get started on those carpets. I have put it off, long enough.

I had the same breakfast as yesterday: Greek yoghurt, fruit, flax muffin, coffee.

Lunch was an oopsie roll with cooked green leaves and shrimp. And some more coffee.

My husband just rang to say he won't be home until half past eight, so I had an afternoon snack of a rye cracker with cheese.

Dinner will be chicken breast, stuffed with mozzarella and paprika and topped with mayo & pomegranate sauce; and some grilled aubergine. And a glass of wine.

About 1600 calories, 33 net carbs.

Does rye bother you at all?

I hadn't thought of that. Actually, I'm not sure. These crackers are very thin, and I only have maybe one a week. If there is an effect, that's not enough to trigger it (around 3g carb, compared with maybe 20g for a slice of bread). The problem with wheat is that once I start, I'll have some a couple of times a day. A small bit occasionally doesn't bother me with wheat. It might be worth investigating the rye at some point, though, because it would increase the options, and I wouldn't be tempted to keep sneaking in a bit more, because it's just not as seductive as wheat!

I'll have to look into what can be done with oats, too. Lucky my husband's going to London again tomorrow: I might have to do some experimenting
