When I lived here before, I'd buy up all of the couponed meat that I use, and put it in the freezer. It was nice to always have a selection of meat in the freezer. I, also, bought one bundle of asparagus!!!! I love asparagus, drowned in butter with parmasean and crumbled bacon. So, tomorrow for supper....

I'll rub the roast down with olive oil, and season it. Roast it for a few hours, and I'll have:

roast
asparagus
salad

I have one more leftover bacon cheeseburger. I'll have that for lunch!!!

Is that better?

TURDS!!!!!

Much Better!! I do the coupon "Meat" too. Don't worry, you will get to the point where you can "Stock up".

Parsley sauce is just a white sauce with parsley in. It's normally made by cooking butter and a little flour together for a minute, than adding milk. I used cornflour last night because I'm avoiding wheat for now. Anyway, between the flour and the milk, it works out about 7g carb for 1/2 cup of sauce, so wouldn't be the best use of your 20g carb on Induction, but it fits in fine for maintenance. I mixed some cream in with the milk.

I'm just going to bake some flax muffins to go with my coffee. I think I'll make them lemon flavoured and topped with pine nuts. Sort of a muffin version of pignoli biscuit.
Ok, So the Parsley sauce is a "Cream" Sauce with Parsley. That sounds good.
I used to make Suffed Pork Chops with "Cream Sauce". *drool*

Oh, and Yellowrose must be "Busy" with that "Personal Trainer" again! When she shows up, let's make her do a "Run" to Starbucks for us all!!

I baked the muffins, so help yourself to one with your coffee .
Both your Chicken ideas sounds good. *grabbing a Muffin* I don't mind if I do! *taking a bite* These are GOOD!!

They say that a Doctor's handwriting is so messy from soooo many years of note taking....while in school. They must, also, forget how to clean up after themselves with the hours of relentless studying!!!!

I think that's what I'll do, but I'm afraid you're outside the radius for free delivery .

Tooter, did you get any flooding? You said you'd been put on flood alert a day or two ago.

Well....incase you didn't notice....I was up way too late last night. I just got back from taking the son to school...and I think that I'm going to lay back down for awhile, as Thursday's will be busy with the two accounts that I have to clean on Thursday nights. First the clinic...until 11. Then, the vet's office...until 2. I have been told that the vet's office is a bunch of mopping. I have really been getting a workout with this job....but....I don't "mind" it. It's way better than intentionally exercising.

Be back later!!!

Can't you make an exception?

Oh yeah.....I used to coat chicken breast with instant potato flakes and parmesan, bake it...and serve over angel hair noodles with spaghetti sauce, and plenty of freshly grated parm on top. (My version of chicken parmesan.) It was very good!!!!

I think that, once I can buy things better, I will make some of that spaghetti squash that I have been wanting to try, and make the chicken parm with a low carb sauce? If the carb count would be too high with the instant potatos...then...I'll substitute smashed-up porkrinds for the instant potato flakes. Although, you wouldn't think that it would be very high...there's not alot of them in the baggy, but I'd have to figure it out first.

Oh yeah....I, always had some good kind of bread with it too. I guess that I will be skipping that. I wish that I didn't love "good" bread so much.

I now have a "Pond" in my yard, but everything is fine. Some of the streets in town were a little flooded...But it wasn't bad at all. The Tempts are colder now and we are expecting a Snow storm on Friday (I think). I just love March!

The Pork Rinds would work for the Chicken Parm. Also, the next time that you go to the store, check out the labels on the "Tomato Sauce". That's how you can find the "lower in carb" ones.
